+1 elder god in human avatar form
[Those outside in the courtyard are seeing an interesting sight today. A man in strange purple robes is sitting on the fountain, silent.
No, not on the rim. He's literally sitting on top of the cherub decoration on top of the fountain, apparently indifferent to the very distinct discomfort it has or the fact that his legs are getting utterly soaked from it.
Mantorok is... thinking. This was new. Strange. Being transported randomly was not, in fact, something that he tended to experience, even in his "avatar" form, as it were. That he could still feel his real body, however distant it was, is reassuring, and his magic hasn't seemed to suffer even slightly for it, which is equally comforting.
Or at least as comforting as an elder god would need.
He was a bit... curious about those who ran around in this world. Were the people around here similarly teleported by some force? It certainly wasn't Trappers, and it wasn't as if different worlds was a strange concept.
But he's not about to go around asking people, no. Instead, he simply sits, and he waits, an aura thick with dangerous magic around him. Those who were even slightly curious about magic or the occult would find themselves drawn to him... while for those who had magic talent at all, it would be like a gigantic beacon, he's sure.
Waiting, always waiting for what it is that he wants... and this world would be no different. At least for right now.]

Nothing. Nothing at all. Manny simply holds up his hand, waving off the force as if it's merely a prickle. Oh, now he's interested...
So he opens both his eyes, leering at Malik intensely.]
Mess with you? Oh no...
[His voice takes on a whispering aura, inhuman and threatening.]
You chose to look into the eyes of a God.
[And now everything goes to hell if Malik can't tear away. The world skews as if Malik is looking through a camera at an angle, and the sharp smell of blood issues up from the fountain. The cheery sun immediately darkens to something far more sinister, and those whispers have escalated to screaming or sobbing, loud and piercing.
Something drips from the overhang behind him, thickly and wetly -- blood, falling from an unseen source to pool on the ground. Bugs appear to somehow be crawling off his vision, like his face is pressed to glass, and unthinkable creatures crawl around from unseen sources, hissing and snarling.
Malik is looking into the abyss itself, the void that is the Dead God, and it's staring back intently, whispering siren calls to fall into it and succumb to the grip of insanity.]

Everything...the noise, the hallucinations, it's too much for him. The terror grips his heart, and all Malik can think about is how he'd rather be anywhere else but here.
Please...please! He doesn't want to see this anymore! It's too much...!]
Ghhkk--! [Suddenly, it's not the visions that's bothering him, but the searing pain in his head. It's a familiar pain that he's felt before; he knows exactly what it means. And...
He doesn't care. He truly doesn't, as long as he's away from this! Let his other half suffer with it!]
Hhh....h-hhhaah!

He's still staring into Manny's eyes, his own wider still, but not with terror. If anything, he looked enraptured.]
Hehuhahaha! Those eyes...

[Manny keeps that look firmly locked, the purple of his eyes shining almost like a fire of its own now. He knows this creature isn't feeling the abyss... was he already a part of it, perhaps?]
no subject
[The comment has an air of humor to it, even if it's hard for Malik to concentrate on much else besides those eyes. The horrors around him...he enjoys them too.
He takes a few steps closer, deciding then to answer the question.]
Hehahahuhu...I'm Malik's other half. I should thank you for scaring him. I've been waiting to come out again!
no subject
"Other half..." Interesting. So you're a split being as well. But rather than multiple pieces of a single creature, you're a single piece of two creatures.
[The glow in those eyes intensifies further, inviting Malik to come do what he pleases. Touch, stab, talk... whatever he wants, just come closer~]

[Malik continues to approach. When he reaches the edge of the fountain he's forced to crane his neck upwards just to keep eye-contact.
He wants to see...he wants to see those beautiful eyes welling up with pain! Even if he can't look away...he can still unsheathe the hidden blade on his Rod.
The thought alone excites him enough that he sticks his tongue out, grinning wildly before using it to lick his lips.]
no subject
Ho ho... is that so? Even more interesting. How does one's mind split so cleanly? Insanity surely cannot make this...
no subject
[Malik lets out his own deranged laugh, stepping fearlessly into what he perceives to be a fountain of blood.]
He suppressed everything...pushed everything onto me...hehuhu! [His words are cool despite the bizarre bulging veins that make their way across his face.] Not that I minded...I enjoy his suffering as much as the next person's. His slow descent into the darkness he fears so much.
[He reaches the statue at the center of the fountain and stares.]
no subject
[He tilts his head a little, still watching, still grinning. My my... just what is this creature going to do?
He knows pretty well, considering that look in his eyes...]
no subject
Humans...heh. They're fun, though.
[He lolls his tongue.] Why don't you come down here? I want to get a look at those eyes up close...
no subject
Heheheheh... that may be harder than you imagine to do... but if it amuses you, I'll give you the chance to try it!
[He slips off the fountain, splashing into the "blood" without a second thought and facing Malik. He's easily a good few inches taller than the boy... so that craning won't be completely gone.]
Well? Go ahead.
[He holds out his arms.]
Attack away.
no subject
[Malik doesn't even blink when the other man jumps down in front of him; he just keeps grinning, staring almost thoughtlessly into those eyes.
Those eyes...if he gouges those fucking eyes out, he can look away!
Brandishing the blade of his Rod, he grabs Manny by the front of his shirt and swings his arm. He'll tear those eyes out if it kills him!]
no subject
And there's no reaction in the other eye. Not any response whatsoever at the stab, not even a flinch. It's as if he's stabbed a doll.]
Heheheheheheheheh....
[That laughing chaos, that whispery voice, trails off again, the air around them humming deeply with deep, dark magic.]

Now now... this isn't fun at all. If you wanted to look away, all you had to do was ask. But to go for blinding... that's just so utterly human and boring.
[While he may not be the elder god of Strength, he has it in spades more than any human. He pushes against Malik lightly, intending to just make the other stumble back, or at least into the water itself.
Regardless of whether or not it works, however, he turns his back to Malik, breaking the stare, hand up to lightly finger the gushing wound.]
How pathetic... and here I thought you might be worth a laugh.
no subject
Not moving, Malik lets out a low, uneven laugh.] Why would I ask? I wanted to see those eyes grow wide with terror and pain...!
Too bad... [He lifts the bloodied Rod in his hand, looking down at it with a delirious smile.] You were the boring one.
no subject
[Manny presses his hand to his stabbed eye, letting his magic escape in the whispy, echoing voice of the healing spell before turning around, healed up if very bloody.]
Perhaps you aren't as boring after all.
no subject
I can summon Ra, you know...huhaha, I wonder if the all-consuming fire of the Son God would be enough to make you writhe.

[Suddenly, Malik looks rather irritated, if even bored.]
There's no fun in destroying a shell; it doesn't mean anything to you. It would only be a temporary annoyance at best. I like to cause much more permanent damage.
