[ If you're walking around the West Wing, you might hear some new footsteps; at least, if you're adept at that kind of thing. If not, it might be that ricocheting bullet bouncing off the walls and ceiling; narrowly missing your head.
Oh yes, we've got a skilled marksmen in the Campus now, and he goes by the name Revolver Ocelot. He waltzes into view, a smile upon his lips as he twirls the Colt Single Action Army around in his hand, doing all kinds of fancy tricks with it...
Finally, he replaces it back in its holster and spreads his arms. ]
Well now, I've never seen you before.

WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!
[Accident or not, who the hell plays with their gun like that?! Bakura can't tell if it was intentional or not, considering his relative inexperience with guns, and nor does he care. If it was intentional, he's being messed with. If it was unintentional then that was even more annoying. Glancing over his shoulder at the mark on the wall from the bullet, his eyes narrow suspiciously.]
Tch.

Now now, there's no reason to shout... These corridors carry sound rather well. You're just going to give someone a headache.
[ He's getting a good look at you, boy. ]
no subject
Heheheheheh. There's no reason to try to shoot people either- but it seems that's not holding you back.
[Bakura isn't scolding so much as... pointing out a flaw in that logic.
He can't imagine his appearance is so interesting. He doesn't carry himself like a soldier, too languid and careless. His coat covers most of his scars, save the cross-shaped scar below his right eye from Rosenkreuz's sword - and Malik's angry attempt at making things worse.
But this guy is suspicious. He looks like something out of a movie...]

[ Smirk. He starts to take a few steps closer, taking out the revolver once more and twirling it around again. ]
What's your name, boy?
no subject
[Seriously? He's implying he got that close while not aiming to kill or firing at random? That, coupled with the cocky attempt to intimidate him has him intrigued. Folding his arms over his chest, he answers coolly.]
I'm Bakura. And what's yours, cowboy?
no subject
[ He continues twirling the gun around in his hand before holstering it once more. Cowboy... He liked that. The way he dressed was an obvious testament to his obsession with westerns. ]
So then, Bakura... Mind giving me a little insight about this place?
no subject
If you have questions, I'll answer them. But you might not like the answers.
[Leaning against the wall, he draws one foot up behind him to rest against it, bracing himself.]
Most people don't.

[ His eyes are on Bakura, watching him carefully. He's noting that necklace, that eye upon it... It was hard not to notice something so blatant. But he wasn't about to ask about it; not yet. ]
Now then... I've gathered that this is some kind of school, hmm? But no teachers, no staff, other than that Nurse, maybe others.

[Bakura's leisurely explanation is spoken with calm words. Most of what he knows is speculation based off of things he's seen here... but it's good enough.]
What we do know is that the school's been abandoned for a while. No... more accurately, the entire island has. Nobody knows why. There's a campsite where people used to live, but nobody can get near it to investigate. Lisa and Edna aren't talking, so either they're hiding something, or they came later.
The island itself isn't much. It's about five, six miles long at the most; mainly jungle and cliffs. Leaving it is, frankly, impossible at the moment. The barrier surrounding the island prevents anyone exiting or entering through normal means. It's impervious to all known forms of attack, impenetrable, and dome-shaped. Short of tunneling under the ocean, we've tried everything.
But there's no guarantee that whatever's beyond it is worth accessing even if we did get past it. People who are brought here are occasionally from radically different timelines. There's no telling what time we're in... or even if there's anything out there but water.

At this point, even the impossible answer sounded reasonable. The old cat stroked his mustache, leaning against the wall himself now. ]
Hmmm... Interesting. So there are people from all over the place trapped here. That should at least keep things entertaining... As frustrating as it is to be taken out of something so enjoyable.
But I'll live. Not much I can do about it for now.

Hmhm... This place has no shortage of oddities. It's the one blessing that comes from being trapped in a place where realities clash.
Heheheh... I'm sure you'll have cause enough to question your sanity before too long has passed!
no subject
[ He barks out a laugh, standing up straight again and taking a few steps down the corridor. ]
Good of you to show concern, but I'm not too worried about that part. Worrying about something like sanity is a waste of mental energy. [ He spreads his arms again. ] Better to just enjoy the show!
1/2
[His shoulders shake as his own laughter swells, slipping out unbidden.]
Hehehehehehe...HAHAHAHAHAHA!
no subject
Your life, your sanity... They're nothing to me!
I don't care if you die screaming in terror or are consumed by your own mind until nothing's left! As long as it's interesting, I'll be satisfied.

It would have come out eventually! There's no point in hiding what I am unless it's useful to.
[And I can't use you...
That much had been evident from the start. The man's general manner was enough. He wasn't the type that would be an easy mark. People like Karasu were easily used, but this one... he didn't show the vulnerabilities he'd usually have preyed on. His confidence didn't seem faked at all...]

[ You'd just get shot in the head after all. ]
Thank you for the info, Bakura. See you around. [ He's going to wander down the corridor, giving a brief wave in the form of fun fingers. ]
no subject
[Interesting... he'll have to keep an eye on this one. He reminds him of someone. Can't tell who, though.]
