[intercom_voice]

[Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, you will hear the loud screeching of a microphone through the speakers before it dies down. Not long after, a familiar husky voice blares through said speakers.

Although her tone is somewhat pleasant, she manages to keep her authoritative tone as well.]

Good afternoon. [There's a brief pause.] You've all been quite busy, haven't you? It's, hm...interesting to watch, to say the least. But do keep the property damage to a minimum, will you? It's awfully rude to smash people's property on arrival, don't you think?

[Despite that warning, she manages a soft (if a bit ominous) chuckle.]

That being said, I hope you're all well rested. A good rest means a good grade, after all~.

[There's another burst of feedback before the announcement comes to an end.]

[After hearing the announcement Andrew decided he'd go looking for an office or something, to see where it came from. But he found nothing, so instead he flew up to the roof, where he's just standing on the edge with his hands in his pockets. It may look awfully precarious to anyone viewing, but he's not actually in any danger of falling -- even if his feet or only half on the ledge. Hence his laid back demeanor.]

[holydemon]

[While Nero no longer slept on the roof thanks to actually getting some roommates, he does still like to come up every now and then for some peace and quiet. Not to mention fresh air.]

[He notices Andrew pretty quickly, and how dangerously close he's standing to the edge.]

You know you can't fall off, right?

[imanapexpredator]

[Andrew's head turns slightly to look over his shoulder, but that only lasts for a second before he goes back to looking up ahead.]

Uhh, yeah? I know.

[Because he can fly. But this guy probably doesn't know that so...that was an odd thing to say. Also:]

I don't want to anyway...

[holydemon]

It looked like you were trying to show off.

[He smirks, taking a jab.] I just wanted to make sure you knew it wouldn't work.

[Okay, now Andrew decides to turn around to face Nero. His brow raises a bit.]

Show off by...jumping off the roof?

[holydemon]

Well, you could do that. [Nero sarcastically replies.] But I meant standing on the edge like a daredevil.

[imanapexpredator]

[Andrew doesn't...look like he knows how to react to that. Probably because he doesn't.]

I didn't even know anyone was up here.

[holydemon]

[Nero narrows his eyes a bit, lips drawing into a line. He seems to inspect Andrew a moment before pulling back into his usual smirk.]

If we weren't in this place, that'd be a good way to get yourself killed.

[Andrew shifts a bit uncomfortably under Nero's inspection, regarding him with a very skeptical look.

He watches Nero for a moment, features becoming totally even.]

I wouldn't have to worry about that.

[holydemon]

[Nero opens his mouth to speak, but then closes it again as he cants his head. He loses the somewhat humorous tone he'd had.]

Now you're starting to worry me.

[imanapexpredator]

[Andrew's gaze shifts off to the side somewhere, his hands coming out of his pockets to awkwardly tug on his sleeves a little.]

I didn't...I mean I just don't have to worry about that kind of thing is all.

[Speaking as if rewording that will help any.]

[How crude. If anything, it almost seems appropriate that some people react in an angry manner to such a situation. But no point in overreacting if it's not going to get anyone... anywhere. There are always answers somewhere, it's merely that people have see through to the end to have things make sense. Yes, he had paused during that so called 'announcement' but never mind that now. Joshua is walking at a fair pace in the Northern Wing, not showing too many signs of advancement. Many doors seem to open to empty rooms and he happens to be turning out of one of those rooms as of now.]

Uh, yeah, that's not sounding any better. [Nero quirks a brow.]

Then again, you'd probably only break your legs from a fall like that.

I wouldn't.

[He replies kind of fast, and a bit defensively.]

Hey! This isn't exactly my idea of "fun". In fact being confined is making me rather bored.

[Pegasus crossed his arms, as he stabbed his finger at the intercom button to be heard.]

You're making a serious mistake by keeping us here! If you're going to watch you should at least have the common decency to give us quality wine!

[Priorities, Pegasus.]

[This is Pegasus. Pegasus is not a happy camper, but it should be obvious why. He's done everything to find a way out, to no avail. What was going to happen to Industrial Illusions? Surely they'd have reported him missing and were conducting a world wide search. They wouldn't move on without him, right?

For now he's going to confine himself to the courtyard and just keep to the shade in his misery. This was beginning to get a bit old.

Whoever that woman was he wanted to see her punished. Honestly the warning made him want to see the walls torn down more even if it didn't achieve anything simply in spite of her wishes.]

[intercom_voice]

[Dryly.] School is for learning. Not for fun. [Her tone then lightens up to a sickeningly sweet degree, though it's obvious she's just being sarcastic.] Maybe you can read a book if you are that bored.

As for the wine, we wouldn't want to hinder your ability to learn, now would we!

[ It's pretty archaic tech but at least Leo knows how to work the intercom button. ]

You think something like property damage is rude? They're well within the boundaries of the law and have been ever since you started kidnapping people.

[ When he's finished speaking to the woman over the intercom, Leo heads for the door of the nurse's office. Neither members of the staff were much help and though this nurse would technically be an accomplice, he can't see someone so skittish help formulate such a grandiose scheme. He would have to find the main office and just hope the head of the system would be there.

He ducks his head upon leaving the infirmary, carefully avoiding the top of the frame. It's easy to tell how old a building is when it doesn't accommodate a cybrid's height. Leo gives a glance down both sides of the hall before ultimately deciding to go left. ]

Um... [Nia sees the young boy wandering and wonders if perhaps she should help him.]

Hello kind Sir, are you lost?

[Why does he keep bumping into this guy?!]

[Ivan looks particularly bristled upon seeing Pegasus, stopping right in his tracks and pulling an arm up defensively, as if that will stop...whatever he did to him last time. All he remembered was seeing his eye, but...it wasn't an eye at all.]

[intercom_voice]

Kidnapping? That's a strong word, don't you think?

Would you rather I call it false imprisonment? It's a felon either way but it may be better suited to your tastes.
