Found them. They're separated. [Bakura held the ring in his hands, the charms that hung at its sides now pointing in the direction of their targets.]
[Nearby, Malik smirks at the news, his face mostly concealed beneath hood of his purple cloak.]
Good. You take Eleanor, and I'll get Harriet then. You know what to do from there.
[Bakura leers in the direction of his target, smirking.] Understood. It should be easy.
[The Egyptian, in return, turns towards his own target and lets out a small laugh.] Hehe...I'll meet you back at the cave then. We'll lure in Henry and Rosenkreuz once we've got the girls.
((ooc: GENERAL WARNING: there will be violence throughout the threads in this post.))

...what does she even say, that's so completely off the wall from the situation...]

There you are, Rose Duelist. You should keep your head high, just like that.

...I...
[Okay, really, just. Trying to find words here.]
...I expected you to be insulting me for being helpless. Or something worse.

[he glares. Still... if that's how she thinks of herself, it won't do. His eyes are cold.]
You believed you were in a safe place, and thus let your guard down to be captured by men much weaker than you. It will not happen again, because now you are wiser. Isn't that so?
Remember, the Blue Eyes they fled in terror from is a monster you have faced honorably and defeated. They do not know this yet, but they will learn should they cross your path again.

Ryou was a friend... I hadn't thought he'd do something like that.
[The cold look causes her to wince very slightly, but she really can't deny what he's saying. It's true, she doesn't think she can ever trust someone so easily again... Ryou had seemed so sweet, and then... her hand throbbed almost in reply to her thoughts.]
Yes... that's true. [She shifts, sitting up a bit straighter.] Your dragons were terrifying... but I faced it, not fled from it, and I had managed to take it down.
[It helps... a little. But she still looks visibly shaken. And it's no surprise, really; she may had adapted to war just fine, but torture was another thing entirely.]

Your friends here are Harriet, the King, and myself. Use others if you wish, but trust not freely!
[he won't insult her, but he can't help but scold her. See, he knew he wasn't good at comforting. He sighs.]
... At any rate, this won't be the last we see of those two. I have something of theirs, and they have your Rose Cards ... I'll need to know everything I can about them before then.
[He still doesn't really know what the hell happened at all, not even Henry and Harriet's duel. He suspects their absence is no mere coincidence.]

...Yes. You're right, of course. I... just got caught up in feeling back "at home" and hadn't even thought of being wary.
[She had been an idiot. She really had, and the realization makes her a bit unhappy. But... information...?]
...Ryou has some sort of sleep magic. When he led me on, he used it to knock me unconscious before I could properly struggle. The rest... I don't know. Malik was staring off into space half the time and yelling the other.

[Interesting. Very interesting.]

[...Ug, she couldn't even get anything useful from being captured. But oh well. Eleanor runs her uninjured hand along her bandaged one, wincing a little at the lack of a fingernail here and there.]
...Maybe something to do with that thing of his you took?

I may have a theory about this item's true identity... but to think that it would turn up here...

[Though that might be a rough translation, and his memory might be fuzzy.]
Perhaps he was communicating with someone far away. Or perhaps it was something more sinister...

[It's the only thing she can think of that the line would apply to.]

Henry protected her... or she protected him, I'm sure...

I put a stop to whatever they were doing. I'm certain they've scraped through. We'll find them soon enough.

[The silence hangs heavy for a bit, then Eleanor suddenly scoots herself over, putting her head against Rosenkreuz's shoulder and closing her eyes.]

There, there. It will be all right.

Thank you, Rosenkreuz...

Well, shall we go and search, or would you like to stay here a bit longer?
