[Malik had found something while looking through the East Wing. Just what that "something" was becomes apparent when an engine roars to life, and the skid of tires on tiled flooring echoes through the halls.

Sure...sure, he could just walk his new bike outside...but where was the fun in that?! This wasn't an ATV, and it likely wasn't going to fair well in the spotty terrain outdoors...

So he's just going to take a few smooth-riding laps in the halls before he goes to test it outside.

When somebody gets in his way, he rears the bike back onto one wheel, skidding a few feet on the floor before the front tire slams back down and he comes to a stop.]

What, are you trying to get yourself killed?

[He smiles a little maliciously. Choose your answer carefully, Malik.]

Kehkeheh...it may not have been my first choice, but I've grown to like it quite a bit. Like an acquired taste.

[Malik's smile rival's even Bakura's now.] I think my favourite part is if you've gotten me mad, and I hurt you...your pale skin doesn't even try to hide it. It's satisfying.

[He stares at him in surprise, too startled by the answer to even be angry.]

If you lose your temper like that much more often, there won't be a fragment of this body that isn't scarred.

Lucky for you, I'm feeling much more amicable after our oath. I don't want to ruin your body, or cause Ryou to try and run away...so I'll try to behave.

[The words are as casual as ever. Malik idly runs his fingers over Bakura's back, but makes sure to stay away from his burns.]

[Bakura shivers a little, twitching in irritation.]

Good... I'm sick of having to take care of shit like this.

... [Part of Malik is pleased by that irritation. After all, he didn't do anything that Bakura hadn't deserved. Still, he had lost his temper...]

I told you nothing happened! She tried to come on to me, but I didn't let it happen.

[Not for lack of trying, admittedly.]

[Malik grumbles, his grip tensing a bit.] ...Forget it. Drop it.

[Because at this rate he will lose his temper again, and he was kind of enjoying Bakura on top of him right now.]

[Maybe if you bit more, he wouldn't need dragon girls, Malik!]

But you know... You taste better than her anyway.

Of course I do, I don't eat meat.

[He smirks, shifting a bit so he can bring one hand up to Bakura's lips.]

You taste better the less you eat of it too. Kehkeh...

Keh! Like hell I'm giving it up entirely. That's one pleasure you can't replace. But I guess I don't mind going without it sometimes. I'm used to that much by now.

[Mockingly, he wraps his lips over one of Malik's fingers, sucking on it.]

Hnn. [It's begrudging acceptance, at best.] As long as you don't kiss me after you've eaten...

[His words trail off as the other man sucks on his finger. That reminds him...] We still need to spite Ryou, you know...

[The idea had been planted. Now it was just a matter of letting it sprout into a suffocating weed within her mind. He'd use her good will towards her friends to his advantage, and he wouldn't even need the Rod to do it.

I assume you can take yourself back, then! [Malik straps on his helmet and starts the engine. He doesn't even give her a chance to respond before veering the bike around and speeding out down the same path they'd come in on.]

Heheh... So we do. Then, lie back and relax, will you?

[Bakura shifts reluctantly, having gotten comfortable.]

Already there.

[He lets go of Bakura and casually folds his arms behind his head, watching with interest.]

You really are overconfident...

[Shifting, he unfastens Malik's belt almost in a carefree manner, like it's absolutely ordinary to be undressing him out of the blue.]

Lift your hips. I can't get your pants off like this.

[obeytherod]

Kehkeh, but "over" implies that I should feel less of it.

[His words aren't nearly as confident sounding as they should be, considering what is said. Even now as he obediently lifts his hips, Malik's starting to look nervous.]

[Time to tug those pants down! As long as Malik doesn't kick them off, it's not like the Rod's going anywhere, right? So he can just settle awkwardly between Malik's legs~.]

[Except Malik does try to kick them off.

Of course he does, and as soon as the Rod loses even its indirect contact with his body, he goes limp.]

[Did he just...? Bakura leans over to peer at him curiously.]

[brb retrieving pants. He'll just throw the Rod at him for that.]

[Malik wakes up again, blinking and looking around before letting out a very delayed "ow!"]

Did you throw this at me?!

You threw it away! What were you thinking?

...When did I-- [Oh. His pants.] I forgot, okay? I'm still new to this...

It's fine! Just hold onto it. It'll be weird if you go like that again later.

[This time Malik keeps the Rod held fast in his hand. It really would be a good idea to get a sheath.]
