CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: EVERYTHING AND THE KITCHEN SINK
[Hopefully everybody likes waking up outside.
Because as it were, in the middle of the night when everybody had been asleep or lulled into a sudden one by the sheer weight of the air around them...the Campus disappeared in its entirety. Left behind was only the cool surface of the concrete foundation.
For now it seems the residents were left to fend for themselves in the wilderness of the island. Not even the voice from over the intercom would comfort them.]
((ooc: the school has disappeared, along with all the NPCs and everything that was inside! no opt-out areas this time around. The temperature is cool during the day, and colder at night.
The event will last until October 20th, and I'll post a closer to signify it. Everything will be returned to its rightful place then.))

He was in shockingly good health considering where he was shot. This place... it does strange things to people. Maybe it had a role in his recovery.
[Even after however much time had passed, that wound should have still been affecting him in some way. It's really unbelievable to him without some special intervention.]
Hm. He is a formidable opponent. [And Vulpes is made less for heavy combat and more for spying and treachery. It's difficult for him against a significantly stronger opponent.]

[She wasn't entirely sure Lisa had the mettle to even do so. The nurse nearly had a heart attack when the pair had gone to her for their injuries. And Boone was worse off.
But now he was back, not injured in the slightest and Vulpes was unarmed. And they were all exposed.]
I know I've been a bit of a lone wolf, but given your information and that our prison has up and vanished on us, it might not be a bad idea to stick together. At least not until Boone is properly dead.

[Plus, someone would have had to help Boone get to her. How many enemies might they have here? He doesn't like not knowing.
It's difficult to argue against Sibyll's logic there. Even if he has no desire to rely on a woman for safety, she admittedly isn't useless and her company could prove valuable.]
Very well. It would be foolish to travel alone given the circumstances.

Glad you see it my way. Have you found somewhere better to stay, or should I keep my fire?
[Given how cool it is, she's debating whether or not to press up against Vulpes for warmth or retreat back to her fire. She finally, reluctantly, goes back to her fire. Usually she could just take shelter in some of the ubiquitous ruins of the Mojave, but that didn't seem to be an option here.]

[He can't see why Micheletto would object to one more person's presence, especially if she's an ally of his. Frankly, he'd prefer not to have her left on her own for Boone to find and kill. Or for whatever else could be lurking in these woods to find.]
*bugs Steff to see if it's okay* :D It is~
[She begins to put out her fire, dismantling the flames with a makeshift fire poker. She keeps a branch as a torch.]
Lead the way, soldier.
\o\
If you find him to be... unusual... keep in mind that he's from the year 1500.
[Micheletto is also very pushy. Vulpes inwardly hopes he keeps that to a minimum while Sibyll is around. He would hate to be embarrassed in front of a woman.]
no subject
[Well, except for that incarnation of Death. But she wasn't about to go into that meeting.]
no subject
[But judging by Micheletto's fancy attire and high ranking position, it's pretty clear that his experience is far from the norm at that time.]
He also has several weapons, so try not to get on his bad side.
[Soon enough they arrive at the cave. Vulpes leads Sibyll inside, and nods to Micheletto when they enter. The fire is still going, fortunately.]
I found Sibyll in the woods and brought her back here. [He doesn't ask if Micheletto minds. He doesn't really care.]
no subject
Ah... the woman who killed the man who is not dead, si?
[Really, he has no reason to be particularly impressed with either of them, but other than that passing comment he says nothing else. His hand leaves his sword again.]
Hm. Very well. Salve, Sibyll.
[He would have expected Vulpes to ask first, and is mildly irritated that he didn't. Luckily, he isn't really in the mood to argue about it right now.]
no subject
Nice to meet you, too.
[His size makes her cautious and a bit uneasy. It looks like he could strangle her with one hand. And if she remembers anything Vulpes told her, that might be something he would do. Unconsciously she inches a bit behind the Legionary. Consciously, she keeps up a friendly demeanor.]
no subject
[Something strange is going on... as if the building up and disappearing isn't evidence enough of that.]
[Vulpes notices the way Sibyll moves behind him a little, and smirks slightly in response. Micheletto is a bit intimidating, he supposes, though not to someone like Vulpes. He's not much compared to the Legate.]
Another person to help gather food and keep watch would be a good thing, don't you think?
no subject
[Micheletto notices the way she hides, too. He isn't too surprised. He's an intimidating man, and he's had many others cowering from him in fear. Vulpes doesn't seem to fear him, but he assumes that's because Vulpes doesn't quite realise how easily Micheletto could break every bone in his body. Vulpes seems to think that his rank back home actually matters, but Micheletto understands that ranks and titles do not protect the body from harm.]
I suppose. What is she good at?
[Micheletto is also of the opinion that women are good for pleasing men and bearing children, and that's about it. He can't quite imagine what this small woman could be good for in a survival situation.]
no subject
I am quite the markswoman, better when I'm not injured. I'm quite used to sleeping outdoors, though I usually stick to hiding out in ruins. I'm also pretty good at getting into places without being noticed. How do you think Vulpes got his ripper back the first time?
no subject
She'll be an asset, I'm sure. And if the profligate does show his ugly head again, we'll take it off for him.
