[Up in the North Wing, there's a pounding on one of the doors. Someone or something wants out. But what's worse is the crying. The sounds of a woman, frightened to the point of tears, pounding on the door, hoping someone will let her out.]

P-please... [She sobs.] Please, Harry, open the door.

[The sobs continue for a while longer, alongside the desperate pounding on the door.]




Please don't leave me alone. Please!

[The weeping begins again.]

[Trying one of the rooms here in the North wing was too risky. Every time he entered one he ended up in some weird place -- and now wasn't the time to risk it for a place to sit. He gestures for her to follow a bit awkwardly.]

Yes, please. [She looks around the abandoned hallway before following after Roy. After a few seconds of walking down the dark halls, the nurse takes his arm.]

This place is really quiet. It's creepy.

Really? It doesn't seem like anyone else is around.

[Her heels click loudly in the empty hallway as she tries to keep up with Snake.]

Um, no offense, but you don't look like you belong in a school. What are you doing here?

I'll try and find him then, okay? [A little awkwardly.] You can wait here, or...I can show you where the rooms are first.

It's really creepy here, but I'll wait if you promise you'll come back. And soon. Please. I don't want to be left alone again for long. Especially not somewhere so strange.

[She pulls her cardigan close and rubs at her eyes nervously. The idea of being abandoned again so soon was not a comforting one. This place was both better and yet worse then the hospital at the same time. At least the hospital was familiar. This place was just so silent.]

[ He makes a growl-ish sound, but it's only because he's old. ] I don't belong here. I'm a soldier... I've got a job to do back home. There's no reason for me to be here, other than someone wanting to screw with me.

A soldier? Really?

[He was dressed really oddly. The outfit did sort of remind her of the military, in a weird sort of way. It was hard to stare when he was moving so quickly. She rushed after him to keep from falling behind.]

How did you end up here?

[She had a hard time picturing him locked up in a closet.]

[ Realizing he might be going too quickly, he slows down to proper sneaking speed. ]

I woke up in the clinic. The nurse wasn't in, so I left and started to look around. I don't know how I got here exactly... The last thing I remember was being in another place a bit similar to this.

[ Peeks around a corner before going around it. ] I guess I have experience enough with these places to know you can never figure out how you arrive.

There are multiple places like this?! [She sounds worried now. Just what had she gotten herself into?]


What are you looking for?

I'm looking for the nurse's office... Haven't been there since I arrived. [ He finds a connecting entryway to the North Wing. ] All right, this way.

Do you think something is going to try and attack us? It's just the way you keep looking around...

[She trails off nervously. Snake made her rather uneasy. He was carrying a gun and looked nothing like any soldier she had ever seen before. Not that she had really seen any before.]

... Sorry. [ He straightens up, putting the gun away. ] It's a habit... I'm used to getting jumped or surprised in places like this. I don't like being out in the open.

[ Eventually they come to the Clinic. ] Here.

Ah... [Now you're making him feel guilty. Ryou offers her a comforting smile.]

You can come with me, Lisa-san. I don't mind, especially if it bothers you that much.

Thanks! [She hadn't been expecting the invitation, but she was grateful all the same.]

It's just that...I was in a place like this when you let me out. The hospital was abandoned, too, except for Harry. I don't know what happened to him.

[Lisa looks quite relieved when the gun is holstered.]

I... we sometimes get gunshot wound victims, from the hunters. It's never pretty.

But thank you. [She darts on ahead to open the clinic door.]

[With that settled, Ryou starts to walk down the hall as long as Lisa follows him. It might be rude to start walking so soon, but it might take him awhile to find Aniki.]

There's actually a lot of people here! I don't know what happened to the hospital you were at before, but this place is far from abandoned.

I mean...the island and school might be abandoned by whoever made it, but even if that's true, we're here with others. It's kind of like a shipwreck! Eheh...so to speak.

[She follows after him immediately, trying to stay close, but not close enough to unnerve the boy.]

Really? It doesn't seem like it just based on this hallway. Does nobody ever really come here? Where do they all go?

[ Snake nods his head. ]

Will you be okay if I leave you here?

I think so. Just seeing the clinic is making me feel a little more at home. Thank you so much, Mr. Snake.

[Her nervousness easing a little. Turning back, she gives Snake a smile as blood drips down her forehead and vanishes into the office.

[He's kind of used to girls following him around, actually. They always do that at school...it's a little annoying!

But Lisa's not annoying him, he's more worried than anything.]

I really don't know...sorry, Lisa-san. Hopefully Aniki will be able to help.

[Ryou's heading towards Aniki's dorm now, but stops a door down to turn to Lisa.]

I'll go see if he's home, alright? Please wait here. [He bows his head and then hurries off to knock on the door.]

Oh, right, you said you've only been here for a few days.

Go on ahead. I feel a bit better now.

[She seems to be in better spirits once they left the North Wing, maybe simply because the oppressive atmosphere was gone.]

[Ryou glances over at Lisa again before knocking, stepping politely back from the door so as not to crowd Aniki when he opens it.

...Ah, hopefully it'll be Aniki, and not the Ring possessing him. He should have thought this through better.]

[When the door opens, it's definitely not the spirit in control. It might be hard to tell at first, since he's still wearing the spirit's beloved black trenchcoat, but the lack of spikes are a dead giveaway. That and the confused look of friendliness on his face.]

Lisa clicks over once the door opens, smiling as she looks over the pair blood slowly dripping out of one ear. No, that's just her earrings.]
