Announcement 001

[intercom_voice]

[Whether you're waking up in the clinic just now, or have already done so and are now wandering the halls, a sudden screech of microphone feedback blares over the speakers before fading back out.

A moment later, a woman clears her throat. Her voice is husky and mature, but still feminine, and overall she sounds very authoritative...if not a bit sarcastic.]

Good evening, and welcome to the new school year. I hope your arrival was a pleasant one, last year everybody threw-up from motion sickness, it was quite messy.

[There's a long pause as she seems to think, or perhaps just let any anticipated bustling chatter calm down.] Now, you're all intelligent human beings...for the most part. But I suppose I'll pretend I'm talking to the insipid uneducated masses for a moment; it shouldn't prove too difficult.

[She clears he throat again.] In every hall, you shall find a small intercom. You may use that to ask me any questions after my announcements and "privately" converse. Now, if you head North down one of the halls near the clinic in the Central Wing and keep going, you'll eventually come to either the West or East Dorm Wings, depending on which fork in the road you chose. There you'll find all necessary bunk beds and spare socks.

So, make sure you're all well rested for class in the morning; we wouldn't want to get a failing grade now would we?

[And with that, there's another burst of feedback before her announcement abruptly ends. Anybody who had been wandering the halls will notice a distinct lack of...well, anybody else aside from new arrivals, the Nurse, and the Lunch Lady.

The strange woman over the loudspeakers may have mentioned classes, but the school seemed completely devoid of any teachers to provide those classes. In fact, a lot of things seemed...off.]

[A bullet hits him in the shoulder, but he barely reacts outside of his body briefly recoiling from impact. He chases after the man, only stopping long enough to rip a water fountain from a wall so he can throw it at the other man.]

[Roy is set on not looking back, until he hears the sound of something being torn from...somewhere. He turns in time to see the beast tearing a fucking water fountain from the wall and he just about shrieks something along the lines of "holy shit" before ducking into what looks like a lounge room.

He stands there for a good couple of seconds before he runs and slides under a small table in a moment of panic.

Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, he's so dead!!]

[Croc storms into the room and immediately begins to throw things around the room. He pauses and sniffs the air.]

I smell ya, ya rat!

[He flips the small table over, revealing Roy.]

[Roy can only sit there and wait as he hears things getting tossed around like nothing. He's about to try and make a run for it when the table above him goes flying off, leaving him totally revealed.

He raises his gun and fires at the thing in a last ditch effort.]

Fuck off!

[That only serves to anger him further. He makes a grab at the man.]

[Roy tries his best to scurry out of reach of the thing's hands, the fact that the bullets just angering him doing nothing to discourage him from shooting.]

Don't you fuckin' kill me!

[That was supposed to be pleading...but.]

[Croc picks up a large chair and throws it across the room at the man. Croc's head is getting a little fuzzy as he continues to loose blood from his wounds. Not that he needed to worry about it too much. As his wounds would soon start healing.]

[He charges the man again.]

[Unfortunately that chair manages to hit him, knocking the wind right out of him, as well as the gun out of his hand as it slides far away. All he can do is scoot back as much as he can, though his heart stops when he feels himself back up against a wall. He feels behind himself hoping there'd be a doorknob, but there's nothing.]

I don't know what kinda' super mutant you are but you're obviously not like the rest of 'em! So just...fuck, have some restraint or somethin'!

[Croc's not listening. He reeled back and aimed a punch at the man. He then attempted to grab him so he could toss him into an adjacent wall.]

[If the chair hitting him didn't stop him, the punch most certainly will. Roy felt like his whole body was just going to shatter into pieces at the blow, and unfortunately the hit leaves him vulnerable to be grabbed.]

[Croc pummels the man for a while, until he's fully satisfied. Once done Croc leaves the man, not even bothering to check if Roy is still living or not.]
