[Once he'd found Surge (and that hadn't been easy or sane) Kai had relocated outdoors. For the last day or so, it's been just like old times...almost. His actual camp isn't too far away from where he is now, sitting on the beach with a makeshift fishing rod. Sure, he'd packed as much food as he could get away with, but why go through it if he doesn't need to?
Assuming he can actually catch something. It's kind of boring, waiting for the damn fish to bite. Surge had gone trotting off to explore not too long ago, leaving Kai to stare aimlessly out at the ocean.
Even the chill in the air isn't bothering him much. Boriiiiing.]
