obeytherod: (NAMU ‣  haha I am totally innocent)

I am Malik Ish-- I MEAN MY NAME IS NAMU.

[Malik had humoured the nurse, listened to her explanation until it made him burn with fury and he knocked her back with a telekinetic blast of his Millennium Rod. He storms out of the office mere moments later, letting out a frustrated cry.]

Rruhh! This cannot be! [Why this, in the middle of the Battle City tournament?! He was so close, so close to his revenge on the Pharaoh he could practically taste it, and now he was here. It made him so furious, and--]

[The teenager suddenly winces, bringing a hand to his head as an intense headache pounds at the forefront of his skull. He takes a moment then to calm himself, shaking for a bit before he finally straightens back up.]

[The Egyptian looks either way down the hall, silently hooking his Millennium Rod to his belt. Now was the worst possible time to be caught off guard like this. But for now he would just have to hope he could find a way out of here...and that he wouldn't bump into anybody who might recognize the Rod for what it really is. Then again, even if he did, he could always use the Rod to warp their mind into thinking it was nothing more than a decoration.

Still, he better play it safe and put on a nice face. After all, he was supposed to be Namu, not Malik.]

Ah...I really am lost! [He calls out innocently.]

((ooc: Here's his Permissions Post for anybody that missed it. I'll default to "no" on everything otherwise, and ask on a case-by-case basis.))

Is that so?

[A stranger with the face of Yugi Moto, claiming to go by another name. Another ruler. How strange.

If this man is a version of the Pharaoh, then it's entirely possible to get his revenge even without the Pharaoh he knows. Of course, it won't count, but that doesn't matter.

The Pharaoh from his time is needed. Yugi too. But this one is not. He can't help but laugh quietly, a slow chuckle that rises and swells into a dark and crazed laugh.
]

That look suits you, Malik Ishtar!

[That's right; this 'Henry' won't even know to be wary. It'll leave him vulnerable.]

Do you plan to kill him?

HAHAHAHAHA! I see, I see!

[Of course he would help. An opportunity like this was almost impossible to disregard. Even if it was a meaningless attempt, it would be something fun. Something entertaining in this quietly meaningless place. His eyes were ablaze with his usual energy as he crossed the room in just a couple of steps to where Malik stood.]

The joys of friendship, huh? Heheheh.

[Pharaoh... You never will learn.]

Yeah, that was pretty embarassing for you, wasn't it? Heheheh.

[Folding his arms over his chest, he shook his head to get his hair out of his eyes and smiled.]

Seeing them writhing on the ground in their agonized death throes... [His smile widened.] What a wonderful sight that will be.

What?!

[He was too startled even to be sarcastic, at that. While he himself had the ability to bring the monsters to life without a medium other than the cards, it was an ability too troublesome to use needlessly or for prolonged periods - and more so, it was an ability he knew the Pharaoh didn't have.]

Who the hell taught him to do that?!

...

[He can't tell if he's being hit on or not. Goddammit, Malik, be more clear!

He stays silent for a moment before drawing a card from his pocket. Electric Lizard. It would do.
]

Watch. I'm going to show you a secret.

[The card glows, the image going blank as the creature upon it appears in the room. Bakura moves his hand, placing it in front of Malik in a defensive gesture as the creature snarls, thinking it's been summoned to attack.]

Oy. If you're hungry, go raid the fridge or eat that disgusting mess I threw away earlier.

I have many secrets, Malik... just as, I'm sure, you do.

[He can't help but grin at the look on Malik's face. Ah... he hasn't done this since Duelist Kingdom. Man-Eater Bug definitely enjoyed those foolish guards. But this is almost as entertaining.]

I've never had much patience for magicians, but I've picked up a few tricks in my time. It's tiresome, but I've been able to do this for a long, long time.

[...even the Lizard won't touch the Natto. He lets it disappear without a word of acknowledgement.]

Heheheh. Consider it a learned skill. Cards are just mediums, after all.

[He smugly tucks the card back into his deck.]

If you have the patience to try it, I'm sure you can learn.
fluffydeathdealer: Yami Bakura (Kuriboh? You're joking.)

[personal profile] fluffydeathdealer 2013-08-28 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Then I'll be sure to teach you.

[He wonders if Malik can even handle a skill like that. Well... it's worth a try. He might have enough power to him.]

[Flopping down beside him, he propped his head up on his hand, waiting.]

Come, then. Tell me what you're planning...
