Because there weren't enough dragons here yet.
[There's a shadow passing over the campus today. It's not a bird, nor a plane, nor Superman (which is good, because he's a jerk). Instead, it's a very familiar large, white-scaled dragon that, for some reason, seemed to find the skyways of the Campus a good place to be.
Of course, anyone who watches it can see it might not have entirely been the dragon's decision. From the way it's wobbling in the air, it appears to be hurt -- which is only reinforced as the beast's wings finally crumple, sending it crashing somewhere in the forest.

He followed the trail of wreckage, noticing the blood with interest. Someone had injured it. Interesting. Who would have that kind of power?]

[Even assuming the dragon wasn't wounded, it isn't difficult to find her. There's only so far she can go while exhausted and hurt, and Bakura steps into the rough clearing before too long.
As he does, she lifts her head, baring her teeth and snarling weakly in an attempt to get him to back off.]

[He doesn't even try to hide the sarcasm. Instead, he just looks her over, trying to see the source of the blood. Something that could harm a dragon has to be powerful. Maybe it's here too. Maybe it isn't. Best to be sure.]

[He gets a second growl in reply, but her energy is almost already burnt out. She lays her head back down, still watching him suspiciously and as intently as she can manage.
The wound appears to be something along the dragon's side, near enough to the wing that it's no wonder she crashed. It seems to look worse than it actually is -- a beast like this won't die from it -- but it's still an impressive wound on the BEWD, of all things.]

What a fascinating beast. Crouching down in front of her, he stares at her, wondering f she can understand him.]
Heheh. You've come to the wrong place, Blue Eyes White Dragon! You could be found a mile away with the trail you left.
no subject
The glimmer in her eyes, however, suggests she does understand what he's saying, if just because she shifts to look at the trail behind him briefly before returning her attention to him.]

You'd be safer in the caves, if they're big enough. But from the looks of it, you're not in any fit state to go anywhere. You should be fine, anyway. It's quiet here. The wildlife isn't going to be any threat to you.
no subject
So far so good, Bakura. Keep talking.]
no subject
Did you see? This small island is a peaceful place.
[At least for now. But soon... oh yes, soon it's going to get much more interesting.]
Whatever hurt you is surely long-gone. You're safe here.
no subject
She may not entirely trust you, but it seems your presence is tolerated... for now.]
no subject
Watching.
Oh yes, he was watching. Even as the shadows of the trees flickered from the rustling wind, he stayed still beneath them.
Watching.]

Bakura just stares blankly at the woman.
Is it just his destiny to find naked people with bizarre powers in the jungle? No, that's not important. What is important is the fact that the Blue Eyes had just turned into a woman.]
Oy. You!
[Well, he guesses he can get closer now. Just going to poke her shoulder.]
no subject
And no, don't poke harder. She's pretty heavily out cold.]
no subject
[Well then. He just sits there beside her, pondering what to do. Ah, whatever. What does he care? He'll just toss his coat on top of her like he did with the kid and lie on the grass, waiting for her to wake up.]
no subject
...blinkblink. This guy was... wasn't he?
She pulls the coat around herself some more.]
Thank you.
no subject
It's nothing. I didn't know what else to do.
[Or really care all that much, but still! Token efforts. He doesn't make those for everyone. Besides, she's a dragon or something. She would be fine. He jabs his hand over his shoulder towards the distant school building.]
If you need a nurse, there's one back at the building back there.

Glad to see you made it!
Are you okay?
[It seemed silly to talk to it but he didn't want to get attacked, in case it was real.]
This is Elly-mun, y'know~.
Oh. Derp. Hi again.
Can you understand me? I'm not trying to hurt you. I can help you if you let me.
[He stayed where he was.]
Hello! I appreciate the warm welcome anyway. ♥
Heh. You're welcome anyway;. <3
I am going to take off my coat to cover your injuries.
[He took it off slowly, a white shirt beneath.]
May I approach you?
no subject
The wound is quite a bit larger than his coat. Not fatal, but it explains her anger -- she must be in a lot of pain.]
no subject
If you wait here, I can grab some bandages from a nearby building. Will you be okay on your own?
