NEVER ENOUGH YGOS

[For those actually loitering inside the building today, you may end up seeing a small little boy with weirdly spiked hair wandering around, most likely having passed you by. Perhaps he asked one of the less helpful people around for directions to some city or outside, and just gotten turned around.

As it is, he's been in and out of rooms and hallways at least three times now. It's only once he's -- somehow -- on the roof again that he finally surrenders to the prospect that he's lost, sighing and flopping his back against one of the AC units.

His hands reach down to fiddle with the large, golden object around his neck, looking up to the sky.]

Jounouchi-kun... Honda-kun... Anzu... where are you?

[He stops, turning to shoot Yugi a threatening leer. Of course he hasn't been sleeping. He'd just spent six months in a coma and before that...he was plagued by nightmares of being torn apart by monsters. Now he was stuck here, and he still suffered from those nightmares.

The only reason he cares for you to live, Yugi, is because once he defeats you he can quell some of the anger in his heart, and the nightmares in his mind.]

Get to the damn nurse, Yugi.

[The leer almost freezes Yugi's heart right in his chest and he's almost genuinely regretting ever asking. He takes in a weak breath, just sort of suffering the look about as well as you'd expect a canary to suffer the look of a lion.

...But... something was very wrong with him. And he tried to help...]

What's the matter... Kaiba-kun?

Every day I spend having lost to you, Yugi.

[Kaiba clenches his hand into a fist as he raises it to chest-height.]

You may not remember anything but I do. [He narrows his eyes.] Now get to the nurse. I won't accept you dying before I have my revenge.

Revenge...?

[He doesn't understand. He really doesn't. Revenge for what? What did he do? He can't think of anything, just that something happened to Kaiba after he... was hit and blacked...

...No, it couldn't be that, could it? It couldn't... but... Could it...?

The possibility is chilling, but something in him makes him ask.]

What... did I do, Kaiba-kun? What did I do when I blacked out?

... [Why doesn't Yugi remember?

He says he...blacked out? When Yugi gets that fierce look in his eyes and becomes the "other Yugi", can he really not remember? But even then, he should remember Death-T.]

Oh, it wasn't you. [Now he swings the door open, leaving.]

[Wasn't... what? What's going on here? Yugi's left standing in the bathroom for a good five minutes, just trying to process it.

Kaiba was so angry. He claimed revenge for something. But then suddenly... wasn't him...?

It only makes his head hurt to match his arm. And standing here... won't do much good, will it?

He pushes the door open finally, heading off to get to the nurse's office and let her take care of it.]
