NEVER ENOUGH YGOS
[For those actually loitering inside the building today, you may end up seeing a small little boy with weirdly spiked hair wandering around, most likely having passed you by. Perhaps he asked one of the less helpful people around for directions to some city or outside, and just gotten turned around.
As it is, he's been in and out of rooms and hallways at least three times now. It's only once he's -- somehow -- on the roof again that he finally surrenders to the prospect that he's lost, sighing and flopping his back against one of the AC units.
His hands reach down to fiddle with the large, golden object around his neck, looking up to the sky.]
Jounouchi-kun... Honda-kun... Anzu... where are you?

Jounouchi-kun... Honda-kun... Anzu... where are you?
Are you sure it was a WIFE you had, there, Peggy?
Um... I just fell against something.
[Hopefully, Pegasus wouldn't get a look at the wound when it was treated... it's kind of hard to lie about obvious clean cut knife wounds.]
ROOD. How could you say that? /Soooobs/ And omg are you the one that plays that Dark Yuugi
...H'oh. Well now. Yuugi-boy. I don't think it's hardly a good thing to go around lying when there's those who want to help you. I'd say a someone rather than a something did this.
[His smile darkened just a little, but he still moved with the boy down the corridor towards the nurse's office slowly, just to emphasize that there was no use hiding the truth from someone like him.]
If it's "adarkjudge," yes, that's me. I made it in tandem with this account, why?
...Ah, but, I don't remember anyone doing anything.
[Which is... mostly true. Bakura had sliced so face that, even though his memory says that's the only one it could have been (being behind him at the time), he isn't quite willing to accept that, and he doesn't remember anything after that flash of the knife. Just waking up with that cut, sitting at a table with a Go board between him and Ryou.]
because he's awesome 8D and I like S0 Yami~
How interesting. Pegasus, being aware of the Darker self inside Yuugi already found that even at this point that the "Other Yuugi-boy" must have been in his mind. It was a bit more difficult to read, and he couldn't quite grasp everything with the more innocent Yuugi at the forefront.]
That's partially a lie, Yuugi-boy. But no matter, clearly they need to be taught a lesson.
[By some miracle he'd avoided Bakura, though for...his own reasons. In any case he'll let Yuugi carry on in his denial because treating the injury was at this point much more important. He brought Yuugi to the nurse's office in no time, letting him go first.]
Aaah, was I doing him justice? ;o; I was so afraid he sucked, hahaha.
[But then he's whisked off by the nurse, who's fussing once she sees that the bandages are bleeding heavily again. Back in the bed you go so she can stitch it back up!
Yugi is trying to twist his head around a little to get a look at the other man during all this.]
Um, thank you, Pegasus-san!
[He's grateful for the care, at least. He didn't expect it.]
You do them both magnificently!
Oh~ It's no problem!
[After all, this little Yuugi was hardly the same as the one back home. And he obviously is just such a child that he can't take care of himself.]
Aaaaah! ;o; ♥♥♥♥ Thank you~! That's always great to hear.
...it's not the most he's been in a nurse's office yet. Maybe he should be more worried about that.
Once it's all done, the nurse shoves a drink and cookie in his hand to take just in case, then starts chattering about various ways to take care of the wound to Pegasus, apparently having assumed he was Yugi's caretaker.
Yugi, meanwhile, just eats his little snack obediently, looking like he's not sure how to interject.]
♥♥♥♥ Welcome~! Hee.
Pegasus of course had no issues with listening to her talk, smiling and nodding when appropriate at the young lady nurse with ease.]
Of course. I understand. No bathing permitted on the limb in question until the stitches are healed.
[First aid care of the stitches was easy enough, when it came down to it. Now that that was finished though he turned back to Yuugi, thinking on something for a moment before deciding to inquire a bit more about him and his situation here.]
Where are you rooming, Yuugi-boy?
I adore your Pegasus too! :3c (also I know yuugi/yugi are different names in japanese but EFFORT)
I'm in the West Dorms, by myself.
[It's a little lonely with how big it is, but he can't really complain. It's not like he wanted to bother Ryou about it or anything.]
What about you, Pegasus-san?
Awww I'm glad! I do try. And I can't help it "yuugi" is habit for me
[Is he going to hate the answer to that question? Because honestly if you're being foolish and rooming with someone dangerous he is going to have to lecture.
Not to say his rooming with Kaiba and Mokuba had been any different...But they'd disappeared.]
Well me too, actually..
Oh, I don't mind it! I was just explaining for me, hahaha.
I'm by myself. There's no one sharing the room with me at all.
[Is "completely alone when he probably wouldn't even suspect a zombie" good enough for lecturing?]
It's fine I don't mind either!!
Alone...? Well. Ah...being as you have no one to look after those stitches of yours, I thought perhaps you wouldn't mind coming to my room for a little while.
If you like, that is. You really shouldn't be alone after all!
[Why was he proposing this? Honestly Pegasus isn't sure...Perhaps it was the guilt talking.]
no subject
Ah, if that's okay, Pegasus-san... I wouldn't mind!
[He's never had a cut this bad before, so having someone else to help would be kind of nice...]
no subject
It's alright. My dorm is empty now..so I'd much rather that the space get used!
[Now that that was settled they could move on. Of course, provided Yuugi didn't mind the idea, which it would appear he did not.]
no subject
[And really... that's a weight off him. Even if Pegasus seemed to remember him for some reason -- and he'd need to get that figured out, because the only thing he can think of is that he met yet another person while blacked out -- just living with someone again is already better than being alone!
Maybe he wouldn't almost set the dorm on fire again while trying to make breakfast. He pulls his hoodie back on, noting the red stain on the arm and sighing al little before turning his attention back to the other man.]
I'll follow you.

[If Yuugi didn't have any stuff to bring then it was just a matter of getting to the West Wing. So up the stairs they'd go and down the hall until the West dormitories stood before them. Funnily enough Yuugi would find that Pegasus' room was actually not too incredibly far from the room he'd chosen.
In any case he opened the door before long, offering for him to go first. True, he'd left it much the same as it was before, but it's a little better than the bare-nothing rooms when you first move in. He'd re-decorated enough to make it inhabitable, giving it just that Pegasus flair! There were still traces of Kaiba and Lee around but...he didn't mind, really. Lee wasn't someone he wanted to forget, in case he came back.]
no subject
The room definitely has a much more "lived in" feel than Yugi's did, and he can't help but look around at the decorations a bit curiously. Huh... nifty!]
Which rooms are taken?
[Because he wants to see if the dresser is smart enough to stock a clean shirt after he sits in the one he wants for a while.]
no subject
The common room at least had a couch, a bookshelf, a coffee table, and a TV, some of which he'd acquired from the lounge area. Oh well. Had to make it livable somehow.]
They're not, really...Well, not anymore. Choose whatever room you like. Except mine, I guess.
[Kaiba's blue coat was still hanging up on the back of the wall towards the front but there wasn't really anything else left behind.]
Say, do you want some tea?
[Just as soon as he asked the question though he was already at the stove with a kettle in his hand, putting on some tea.]
no subject
He seems a bit surprised by the offer, but nods after a moment.]
Sure, Pegasus-san! I wouldn't mind.
[He isn't much of a tea drinker, but hey. It'd be rude to decline and it's probably great.]
no subject
Tea has to go with cookies, and he has some left over so, why not.]
Mm. I hope you like English. It's good with sugar and cream, actually.
[It'd be sweet at least, and that's good when going with cookies.]
no subject
Ah...
Pegasus-san... why did you create Duel Monsters?
[He sounds excited, because he is curious!]

[The tea set he'd found in the culinary arts room made it easier as he set the table, waiting until the water boiled before filling the teapot. His hand shook which caused the tea cup and saucer to rattle at the question.
That question...had taken him off guard. Surely he'd already told Yuugi why, through his journal but...this wasn't the same Yuugi was it. Technically he'd earned the real reason but he wasn't ready. Not again...]
Ah. That is a bit of a long story. I'm not sure you'd enjoy hearing the particulars. I was 17, and I'd traveled to Egypt at the time...I was inspired you might say.
[The circumstances behind it...the memories were hard to ignore, coming to the surface again. Cyndia's death...his insatiable search to find a way to bring her back; Pegasus' descent into the tomb where the mysterious Egyptian man who was the guardian of the Millennium items; Shadi gave him a choice of death or of one last possible chance to see Cyndia again. Even though it was seven years ago it seemed so much longer.]
no subject
You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, Pegasus-san.
[Because he's afraid he's brought up some bad memory or something. That's generally not a reaction when something good happens, after all, and ven if he can't think of why Duel Monsters might have upset him...]
no subject
[He forced a smile, before stirring some cream and sugar into Yuugi's cup. He was stalling only to be able to omit a few details that Yuugi had no business knowing right now.]
You see...The Egyptians used to play games too. Magical games based in ritual. "Dark games", as they're sometimes referred. I discovered a tablet depicting just such a game. From the translation however, it indicated that there were monsters used in their games and they were in fact real.
[He was going to only tell him so much, in effect answering more of the 'how' rather than the 'why' but that shouldn't matter if the story he told did what he thought it would.]
It influenced the creation of Duel Monsters, though obviously I had to think on what the rules of engagement would be...So you see, if you believe ancient legends like that you could say that duelists and duels are a reflection of ancient Egypt's dark past. Kind of strange, isn't it?
I guess it helps when you have quite the imagination. As an artist, I wanted to create art. In a way, I got my wish, just not what I first thought I'd end up doing. Still, I enjoy it.~
no subject
But... it was interesting, to be sure. All the creatures they played with were things from the past? And Egypt, too!
Egypt... his hands drift to the puzzle around his neck, running over it in that habit he's developed already.]
It is kind of strange, but it's kind of interesting, too! If they really did fight with monsters, then...
[What would they think seeing it now? It was a card game that everyone enjoyed playing, without any real hint of those dark games. At least, it seemed not...]
...I guess it's a little weird to think about it all being real. But if you're happy making it, Pegasus-san, then that makes it even more fun! Because it means everyone else can enjoy it, too.
