[Event] It couldn't last forever.
[The lights going out had certainly surprised Henry, but he had been prepared for such a thing. He didn't fully understand the "electricity" that this place seemed to have, and thus, lacking that understanding, he had decided to prepare in case it disappeared.
Just like it had now.
Candles in that old-style holder and lit, Henry at least had some visibility despite the pressing darkness. Making sure to store away the others (at least after making sure Eleanor and Jack had ones themselves) he's started off into the Campus, looking for anyone lost in this darkness to help them find their way back to their dorms, or wherever else it was they wanted to go.]

I'll remember to bring my own dice to any games we play.
[He tosses them back over, his eyes glimmering dangerously.]
So what's the catch to that Soul-Body Transfer of yours?
no subject
[His voice is low and dangerous, an amused smile twitching at the corner of his lips. He catches them with ease, tossing them lightly in his hand. Part of him wonders if he can even return those fragments to his soul any more. They might as well be dead.]

[He tosses his head, his hair just barely missing the fire, and immediately moves back a short way to make sure that he doesn't accidentally set himself on fire.
That would be such a bitch to deal with.
Scoffing, he folds his arms over his chest and draws his knees up again.]
You see too much...
[It's agreement, despite his grouchiness.]
no subject
[He continues.]
As for actually telling me... you did say you would answer any questions I had for you, didn't you? And leveling the playing field by giving us information on your skills would go a long way to making our side more comfortable and would be quite a bit of evidence for your desire to keep peace between you two and us. Keeping peace between us means that there's less conflict and no one is getting stabbed again.
[And by "no one," he means "you two."]

Tch... Fine then! While I can fuse part of my soul at any time... To transfer others, there's a caveat.
That Soul-Body Transfer is a 'penalty game' ability. To use it, the target needs to have either lost a game or been rendered unable to play after agreeing to join it. Technically, any competitive activity counts as a game as long as it's acknowledged as one... But it still requires that victory.

[It's nothing more than a curiosity question. Henry had made the deal, so if Ryou died under his protection and Bakura came back for the game, he wouldn't have turned it down. He's just genuinely wondering.]
no subject
[It's a simple answer from a simple mind. The idea of someone refusing to fulfil that agreement is ridiculous.]
no subject
[Really, Bakura. Does he seem like the type to back out?]
no subject
[He actually does sound serious.]
no subject
Hrm... this could be troublesome.]
no subject
Thoughtlessly, he sinks his teeth into his lip as a distraction, flicking his tongue out to lick up the blood that seeps out.]
What are you thinking?
no subject
[He opens an eye to look at Bakura, sighing a little at the shivering. A moment of shifting...
And Bakura's got a balled-up cape smacking him in the chest.]
Wrap yourself in that. I can suffer a little cold for a while.
[Says the one in sleeveless leather armor.]
no subject
[He throws it back, irritably.]
You need it more than I do. I'll be fine. I'm not cold.
no subject
[It's tossed back over as Henry walks to lay on the opposite side of the fire from Bakura, stretched out with his hands behind his head and his sword by his side. Try throwing it back now!]
I've slept in colder. It hardly bothers me.
no subject
It hurts, that's all. Cold aggravates burns.
[It takes a lot of effort to admit that. Vulnerability isn't something he likes to confess to, and usually he'd just keep denying it. But right now, he really does feel a bit too rough to cover it up.
...if he throws it back, it'll go into the fire. That jerk! Just for that, he's going to curl up in the cape and enjoy the warmth. Take that, Henry!]
no subject
Then all the more reason for you to use it than me, hm?
[Henry frowns suddenly, noting a weird pressure in the bag on his belt. He reaches down, digging for the unknown feeling of whatever had been placed there, pulling it to see in the light of the fire... what it...
He hears Wynn burst out giggling in his head and guesses where they came from, glancing over at Bakura with a raised eyebrow.]
Fond of makeup, then?
no subject
[He sits up suddenly, staying wrapped up and looking confused. For a moment he doesn't remember what the hell Henry's talking about before he starts and checks his pockets.]
When the hell did you take those?
no subject
[Henry examines it a bit more, curiously.]
It seems a bit bright for you. Not quite your color.
no subject
[He scoffs. It really is too bright for him.]
I've never bothered with anything other than eyeliner for a long time.
no subject
[He's teasing, really. He's not going to keep something his monsters lifted.]
no subject
[He may be exaggerating, but... well.]
no subject
[While it's still joking, there's a threatening undertone in there. Don't do that again, Bakura. They really were not happy with it.]
no subject
[That one's definitely exaggerating, but he can't surpress a shudder.]
Besides, I was reclaiming what belongs to me.
no subject
[There's a trace of disgust in Henry's voice, despite his best attempt to keep it out. He does not like those things and if they never get into the Roses' hands again, he will be perfectly happy.]
