[Malik had a lot on his mind lately. Not least of which was the alter ego gnawing at his subconscious; he'd taken over twice now. It was frightening to know that at any minute, if he was too weak...he could lose his mind and body forever.
Right now, he was just trying to distract himself from those thoughts. The heat outside was more pleasant to him than the air inside, and so he sat at the very edge of the beach with the water lapping at his waist and soaking the shorts and tanktop he'd decided to wear today.
