FEAST MADE WITH ~LOVE~

[A few days of trying to get back to the Forbidden Lands without eating much was starting to wear on Wander, so he decided to try and find some food. He couldn't find any lizards running around, nor could he find any fruit trees, but he did find a cafeteria with a...awfully...nice, yeah sure, nice woman offering food.

That didn't end well for Wander, who ate all of it just to be nice. So he set off to find food that wouldn't have him throwing it all back up minutes later. Eventually, he did! A nice room stocked with food that didn't look as if it were decomposing as you ate it. But...he couldn't for the life of him figure out all the strange equipment (stoves, fridges, ect) in the room. Some of them got really hot, while others were cold! The cold box is about the only thing he could figure out, really. It was straight forward enough. So instead of trying to figure out how all these things would help him make his food, he cleared out a large area off to the side, made a pit of various wood items he found, and made his own fire pit.

Eventually there's lots of food placed around, some cooking over the fire. But it's not just for him! He remembered seeing some people wandering around looking lost, much like himself. So he thought he'd prepare food for other weary travelers.

So come say high to the sickly looking young man and enjoy this spread of food! Which consists mostly of meat, veggies, fruit, things he actually recognized! And maybe question why the hell he's got a fire pit (although well maintained) when there are plenty of stoves and ovens around. But honestly, his cloths might be a bit of a giveaway.]

((ooc: WANDER MADE FOOD COME SAY HI. Also feel free to use as a mingle.))

[Ah, but Link isn't the average, normal person. Very little makes him feel uneasy, and even if it does, he's very quick to brush those feelings aside. It might be wise to feel a little concerned, but Zelda's the one with all the wisdom while Link has the blind courage. The threat of dying has never once stopped him from doing what he needs or wants to do.]

[It doesn't matter that Pyrrha isn't returning the gesture at all; he wouldn't expect her to since he was the one who initiated it without asking he permission. Nonetheless, Link does find that he enjoys holding Pyrrha, even as he hopes he isn't making her too uncomfortable.]

[Stay safe? He always does! Well, except the times he nearly died fighting monsters. Luckily, he always makes sure to jump into the most dangerous situations with a couple handy potions and occasionally a bottled fairy! Not so luckily, he's a bit low on supplies here. Either he'll have to find more or be extra careful to stay out of trouble.]

You stay safe too. [He then glances at the untouched bowl of food in front of Pyrrha.] And you should also eat something.

No.

[A terse response if anything seeing as how he's back to peeling carrots. But it isn't like him to be rude, at least knowingly. He'd have to have a soul for that.]

We Pawns are from the Rift, a world beyond.

[He places his knife in the same hand as the carrot, holding the newly freed hand out for Wander to see.]

Our marks correspond with the Arisen, grow bright when they are present. They are the ones allowed to enter the Everfall. This Pawn was merely keeping a watchful eye on the gate.

[ Once Wander has had a gander at his scar, Barnaby returns to his task. ]

There are those that serve that purpose. Ultimately, 'tis the choice of the Arisen; their will is our own.

Those chosen by the dragon. Their heart is devoured and they are granted life eternal should they avoid falling in battle. But should they fail, falling before the dragon they seek to end, another shall rise to take their place. It is a cycle without end.

Yes. 'Tis strange at times, wondrously so. And what of your land, Wander?
