[EFFECT ROOM] Dresses for the Dressing Room!

[Welcome to Lapin Angelique! Everyone who enters this room will suddenly find themselves wearing a Gothic Lolita Dress. They may also have other gothic accessories such as tiny little hats, frilly parasols, vampire capes, or spooky plushies.

Bizarre things will happen if you try to take off the clothes. Maybe it will just be downright impossible, they're stuck to your body. Maybe you'll start to FEEL GOTH and the BLACKNESS OF YOUR HEART compels you to put the clothes back on. Maybe you start taking off the clothes, only to find that doing so causes you to slowly morph into a bunny until you put them back on (or until you're a bunny. But was that REALLY worth it?) It's all up to fate!

Either way, these dresses are probably staying on, at least until the effect wears off. Which could be anything from a couple hours to the rest of the day.]

What? [He shoot her an annoyed look.] Just because I'm wearing a dress doesn't mean I'm going to be fooling anybody.

[To be fair, his voice is unmistakably masculine, but with his arms and chest completely covered, it's not as if you can see his toned physique.

He kept trying the zipper, only growing more frustrated.]

[Harriet snorts, amused by his reaction.] I hate to tell you this, Malik, but your voice is the only thing that gives it away. You're quite pretty actually!

[now she's just being mean...]

Keh keh, you think I'm "pretty"? I guess I should thank you for the compliment... Even if I think you could have found a better way to say it.

[Malik hardly feels insulted, it was just his charisma at work! Now really wasn't the time though, and that irked him, but not much more.

He vaguely waved a hand.]

But "fooled" or not, I'm not going out dressed like this. Hm...

[He rifled around in the petticoat of his dress, trying to find something. He'd left his Rod on his belt, so maybe...]

What- no! [Harriet grimaces. That egomaniac, she should have guessed he'd take it as a compliment.]

I don't think you're pretty, I'm just saying ... on an objective level... that you wouldn't be an ugly girl, that's all. [huff]

What are you doing?

I'd hope not to be a girl at all. [He said it totally casually. It was as if his confidence was directly proportionate to how flustered Harriet was.]

And I'm trying to find the Rod...I know I had it on me! [Ruffle, ruffle... Whoops, there goes a panty shot. RUFFLE RUFFLE.]

[what are you talking about, she is not flustered at all! Harriet crosses her arms, just watching idly.]

...There's a room that does that, you know. I ran into what's-his-face after it got him.

[And then panty shot. Harriet only makes a confused face at it - the costume change extended to underwear?? Then is she also-

If it was in your clothes, I reckon it's gone with them.

...Are you kidding me? Kh. [It's not clear if he's replying to genderbending room or the fact his Rod is missing.]

It came back after the building disappeared, so... [He sucks in a breathe, just barely containing his frustration through gritted teeth.] It should come back with my original clothes, if this place has any consistency in its rules.

A school must have some rules after all. Where do you suppose our clothes are now?

[Harriet's got as much reason to want hers back as Malik does- before she started messing with the bunny, she noticed she was missing her deck. Even when they keep all their valuables on their person, there's no guarantee of security. It's certainly frustrating.]

Well I know where they aren't... [He says irritably, tugging at one of the bows at the front of his dress. He was fond of the shade of purple, not so much the everything else.]

Maybe they'll be back in our rooms.

That wouldn't be too bad, I suppose. Worth a check.

[Of course, Harriet wouldn't have to do much explaining to her roommates if she showed up in a cute dress. Malik, on the other hand...]

[Malik takes his hands off his dress, glancing sourly down the hall.]

I'm going then. The hall's empty, so now's a good time. I don't feel like answering anybody's questions.
