[Welcome to Lapin Angelique! Everyone who enters this room will suddenly find themselves wearing a Gothic Lolita Dress. They may also have other gothic accessories such as tiny little hats, frilly parasols, vampire capes, or spooky plushies.

Bizarre things will happen if you try to take off the clothes. Maybe it will just be downright impossible, they're stuck to your body. Maybe you'll start to FEEL GOTH and the BLACKNESS OF YOUR HEART compels you to put the clothes back on. Maybe you start taking off the clothes, only to find that doing so causes you to slowly morph into a bunny until you put them back on (or until you're a bunny. But was that REALLY worth it?) It's all up to fate!

Either way, these dresses are probably staying on, at least until the effect wears off. Which could be anything from a couple hours to the rest of the day.]

Hmm, well I'm flattered you think so! But I have no reason to pretend to be human. Being a robot is way better! Humans have all this body stuff... like farts. It's gross!

Oh, but as long as you have good hygiene, it's not too bad. You shower daily right? ♪

[Ryou bristles, sputtering slightly at the request. Him? Roommates? With a girl?! No way, no how!

Anyway, it's important to me, you know? I'm a twin, so I've never been on my own before. It's driving me crazy! If I have to stay by myself for much longer, I'm just gonna go on a rampage...

Ah... [Ryou sighs, not appreciating the unnecessary information on her preferences or fact he's being guilt tripped, and yet he's helpless to resist. He's not sure where she gets the idea that he's a herbivore though... He likes meat and fish as much as the next person.]

[His voice grows quieter as he goes on, ashamed of himself more than anything. He could understand what it felt like to be without your sibling, he really could sympathize with that... But if Rin stayed here, he'd never be able to relax. Especially not with the Ring around.

He rubs the back of his head, going on.]

I just mean I'm sure you can find somebody more suitable than me, right? I'm not that great...

[Rin's looking pretty disappointed. She was really hoping it wouldn't be so much of a bother for him and that he'd be cool about it from the start. She's not used to hearing anyone tell her "no", so she has a hard time taking it for an answer. She pouts.]

Well, I couldn't think of anyone else. But I guess that's someone else's problem now. ♪

Un, I'm really sorry. But I think it's for the best. [He bows his head politely with a smile, feeling the guilt twist in his chest at that pout.]

I'm sure you can find somebody else no problem! It's not you, after all, it's me.

Ryou-kun, that's so cliche.

[She's joking half-heartedly. Rin has no intention of leaving in a huff just because her favor got rejected. She's still visiting after all. Instead, she'll just change the subject.]

Weren't you gonna get me a snack? ♪

[Yeah, he can at least do that if he's not gonna let her stay.]

[He swallows nervously.] Right. I don't really have much, how about a sandwich? Or some cake, if you've got a sweet tooth.

Ok. [Nodding, Ryou goes to pull the remainder of the cake he made last night from the refrigerator. It's a simple lemon cake with vanilla frosting and sprinkles! It's a little mess, but he had just made it for himself.

He cuts Rin a generous portion and brings it over to her on a plate with a fork, napkin, and a smile. It was always nice to see people enjoy your cooking, after all.]

There you go! What would you like to drink?

Ah, it looks delicious~ [Even if it is plain, lemon flavor is better than she was expecting. Citrus flavors in general are highly preferred.]

Hmm, do you have milk or orange soda? ♪

[There are things Rin is particular about but milk isn't one of them. She'll just look down as she waits for him to get over here. Although the girl is trying to be cool and stay smiling, and delicious cake helps with that, she definitely seems more restless than before. Her feet kick slightly.]

[He pours both of them even glasses and then sits down across from her, picking up his fork.]

Itadakimasu~! [All the cake in the world wasn't going to make him like any less of a jerk for turning her down.]

[Rin smiles] Itadakimasu. [cheerful but to the point. You've managed to outdo Rin for enthusiasm, Ryou.

She takes a few bites before commenting,] You make this yourself? It's very sweet. I love citrus flavors. ♪
