[EFFECT ROOM] Dresses for the Dressing Room!

[Welcome to Lapin Angelique! Everyone who enters this room will suddenly find themselves wearing a Gothic Lolita Dress. They may also have other gothic accessories such as tiny little hats, frilly parasols, vampire capes, or spooky plushies.

Bizarre things will happen if you try to take off the clothes. Maybe it will just be downright impossible, they're stuck to your body. Maybe you'll start to FEEL GOTH and the BLACKNESS OF YOUR HEART compels you to put the clothes back on. Maybe you start taking off the clothes, only to find that doing so causes you to slowly morph into a bunny until you put them back on (or until you're a bunny. But was that REALLY worth it?) It's all up to fate!

Either way, these dresses are probably staying on, at least until the effect wears off. Which could be anything from a couple hours to the rest of the day.]

As to the revenge part... I can understand that, but there's no point in going right back out after you nearly died. Tch, I was a reckless kid.

[Malik leans back, throwing his arms over the back of the chair and crossing his legs.]

He was older than me! About Rishid's age, if I had to make a guess.

He's in his twenties, from what I can tell. But compared to me, he might as well still be ten years old. He's nowhere near mature enough for our goals.

[Sitting back, he shrugs uncaringly.]

If you think you knew little about the world when you came out into it, just imagine what it's like for him.

I can imagine. I visited the outside world for a short period when I was eleven, before I left... Everything was new to me.

But you're right, he's immature. His plans to get the Rod from me were sloppy and poorly thought out. And he was punished as such for his failure... [Malik grins.]

He deserved everything he got. I don't care for sloppiness... or for people trying to target what's mine.

[By which he means Malik, as well as the Rod.]

It's been a long time since I've seen you work like that. Heh heh... I forgot how wonderful it was!

I haven't had much cause lately, is all.

[What's "his", hm? Malik doesn't mind the possessiveness, after all... They've come to that understanding already.

He likes it, even, because it goes both ways, and Malik makes that clear by leaning over to plant a soft kiss on Bakura's cheek.]

[He starts, then smiles. Heh. That's sweet. He could easily get used to this. What foolishness is this warmth inside of him?]

Heh. Don't say that! I might have to find cause for you to manipulate people if you do.

[Deliberating on it a moment, Malik then splays himself across the couch and Bakura's lap, getting comfortable as he folds his arms over his chest.]

Hmm... I need to concentrate on our escape efforts. There's no time for that.

Heh. [He runs his fingers through Malik's hair with casual affection.] I guess that's true. You're working so hard on this...

[And Malik told him he wouldn't tell him what he wants from him until closer to the time. Tch... he feels useless. Like a kid being told to stay behind and guard the picnic basket while the adults went off to do stuff.]

[Malik tilts his head into the touch, enjoying it not unlike a cat would.]

I'm almost there, Bakura. The closer I get, the more impatient I become. I can't wait until this is all over.

[Then he'll keep doing it. He's in an affectionate mood.]

It won't be long. I'll admit, I can hardly wait to see the back of this place either. The boredom is driving me mad.

[He rolls onto his side, curling up against the body besides him. Taking one arm, Malik wraps it around Bakura's waist and nuzzles his face against his torso.]
