[For anybody awake mid-afternoon on the 22nd, outside or caring enough to look at their windows, they might notice a blinding light accompanied by the sudden appearance of a God.

It seems to be one hell of an escape attempt, the golden dragon's wings splayed wide as it sent forth a seemingly never ending stream of fire towards the sky. But something stopped it, an invisible wall of sorts, curling those flames back as if hitting the inside of glass dome. The great beast stops after awhile, starts again, and then disappears in the same bright flash from whence it came.

Pinpointing a location is hard, but whoever seems to have brought the creature about appears to have been at the cliff side behind the school. Of course, they were long gone by the time anybody got there... ]

((ooc: so, this is basically a reaction mingle, for anybody who's interested! since the event would be visible to anybody who cared to look. tag around with each other and so on~ Malik, Harriet, and Bakura won't be around the area anymore, but they still might tag around depending, and the odds are greater if it's a post-summoning starter, since they'll be back in the school a little while after.))

...Ah, of course... [He's just going to let the whole alien thing slide, because at this point he's not sure what to believe anymore.]

But Rin-chan, even if we left the school, if we took your roadroller we'd stick out like a sore thumb! [He sighs.] We'd definitely be targeted that way. We should just leave on foot.

[roadroller]

[Rin seems dubious about having her roadroller excluded.]

Hmm.... Then, do you have any kind of emergency evacuation kit prepared? ♪

[She's not leaving without anything packed, ok. What if the alien megachicken really does burn down the school?]

Nooo... But I could make one! [He pipes up with slight enthusiasm, even smiling.

He's had an idea for a while now, after knowing that he would need such a kit in the case of him and Yugi-tachi getting lost on "Duelist Kingdom Island" sometime in the future.]

Ok! Hurry up then, before it turns around! ♪

[Ryou scurries back off into the living area, noisily shuffling around for about ten minutes before he comes back into the bedroom, dragging a heavy backpack behind him.]

All...set! [Wow this thing is heavy.]

... Wow, you get things done when you want to! I'm kinda impressed!

Ok then, let's go~! ♪

[Ryou hefts the bag up and pulls it over his shoulders, struggling a moment before he gets his balance and heads for the door.]

Un, just stay close! I've got a compass, and I even brought some paper so we can make a map! Just in case.

Heheh, this sounds kinda fun. ♪

[and that is why she neglects to tell him that Ra just disappeared]

Eheh, well, maybe a little...but this is serious, Rin-chan!

[Ryou hasn't even left the building yet and he's already sticking his tongue out in concentration. He sounds much more serious now, despite the nervous little laugh he had before.]

We've got to find somewhere safe to hide from that kaiju.

[Well, it might always come back. Rin fistpumps]

It won't get us! ♪

[marches out into the hallway in front of Ryou since he is the pack mule...]

Un! I bet we can find a cave or something. As long as there aren't any bears... [That was not the best train of thought. Ryou quickly fumbles to cover it up.]

We should be safe!

[Soon enough they're at the front doors, and Ryou's look determinedly at his compass. He has no idea how to read this thing, but he's at least making note of which cardinal direction the school is in when he faces it.]

[She'll leave the compassing to him, just looking around to see where she wants to go.]

Hey. You ever gone out in these woods before? ♪

[Leaving the compassing to him...better known as leaving the "getting them lost" to him.]

Um...no. But as long as we stay within sight of the school, we'll be okay.

[Ryou heads for the shore, mumbling a bit to himself.] The Kaiju was that way...so, we should head this way...

[roadroller]

[Either or. Rin hates responsibility. She'll just tag along.]

Good thinking! We can go to the beach too! ♪

We're supposed to be hiding... [Ryou mumbles tentatively as they get onto the sand. Funny, when he looks over...he doesn't see the Kaiju anymore. He's really not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.]

[roadroller]

Yeah, I know. I just mean if we get bored of hiding. ♪

[casually starts walking in front of him]

... [He sighs. Rin-chan, it's not about being bored! It's about keeping safe.

But he supposes since the Kaiju is nowhere in sight, they might be okay anyway.]

Un, right... Okay, into the jungle we go! [Coming off the sand and towards the jungle's edge, Ryou gulps nervously. No worries, it was way too thick for bears! Right?]

[roadroller]

[Of course! Those bears are probably hibernating. Rin ventures in bravely, although she really has no idea what she's doing. Nature, what is that?

Still, after a while, they may feel like they're being watched, or hear a strange rustle...]

[Ryou's not totally oblivious. Eventually his nervous nature spikes enough that he has to stop and warily eye his surroundings.

Whispering, he leans a bit closer so she can hear.]

...Do you hear that, Rin-chan?

[roadroller]

Yeah, [She whispers back. Rin's been trying to keep a steely gaze forward and stay brave, but her expressive hairbow has depressed somewhat.] Ya think we're being stalked? What do we do? ♪
