[Well this certainly was new...

Wandering around the campus after waking up in it's clinic is a young woman, she looks to be around 17-19 years of age and more or less looks super confused about where she is right now. Judging from her wardrobe, she clearly isn't from any kind of modern-esque world either, she's in a blue and white tunic.

This doesn't appear to be any kind of building she's used to and it's structures and such just don't seem at all right.

She rubs slightly at the side of her temple and grumbles a little to herself. Normally if she had woken up in a place she wasn't familiar with it'd had to be the work of a fairy or maybe some other magic user - but what sort of person would bring her to such a weird place as this?]

...What is this place?

Well to be fair, I don't really know where to start.

This place looks so different to anything that I'm used to. I know you're concerned about how I look bt your clothing's different too...

Not to mention I don't know what kind of magic you must use here. The rooms are so bright yet I don't see any flame torches anywhere! Are they fireflies?

W-well, it's not magic. This place uses electrical lighting; to keep it simple, it's a type of natural energy that can be generated and controlled. So they can turn the lights on and off by controlling whether or not electricity is getting to them. When it is, they light up. But if they cut the flow of power, they go dark. So they can regulate how much light is in the building.

So in a way, this building's capable of making it's own energy, I guess it is a little like magic afterall.

What else it can do?

All buildings in my time can do it. Electricity powers most things. Like the refrigerators in the dormitories. You'll see them when you go to your room. They're like big white boxes. They're controlled by electricity, and they keep food cold and prevent it from rotting or anything.

There's other things too; like the temperature controls in the dormitories.

Can you teach me more about your world's magic. It'd be really great to be able to tell my uncle I've actually been educating myself whilst I've not been with him. He probably thinks that I'm slacking off somewhere.

I'll teach you what I can! But it's not called magic. Even if it's similar to it, it's called science. I guess it's not all that different, though. It's just that it isn't done with willpower, it has to be done with what we call technology. Very few people in my time can do anything like that with just their will.

Uhm. This may seem like a rude question, but being a dragon... do you hunt for prey, or do you prefer cooked food? Because if you prefer cooked food, I'll have to show you how to use the oven and the microwave. There's one of each in the home economics room, so it won't be a problem, but it's best to figure it out. You can get hurt using an oven if you're not careful.

Well, some of us hunt...But for the most part we live like the humans do, we buy our own livestock. Cows, pigs and sheep mostly. But we like to cook.
