[Ryou was used to being used. Even if he'd defy it sometimes, Malik's domineering nature was enough to reduce him to casual acceptance sometimes. It was like being in a really bad relationship sometimes. Malik's harsh side offset by the occasional signs of a nicer person behind it... it was enough to make him tolerate the worse side of him, at least as far as he knew it. If he knew how far it really extended, he might be less compliant, but he just thinks of Malik as being kind of a jerk at times. As long as his violent side stayed mostly with Bakura, he could handle the aftermath.]
