Well, how gracious. Not that you have any idea.

[Though he's still right, and it made him stop looking at him so suspiciously. Looks like he won't be such a pain to deal with, but why is he so different from the other Yugi? Then again, he seems closer to the Yugi in Kaiba's memories.]

...As for Kaiba. He's gone, for better or for worse. I can only assume he's been sent home.

[Kaiba would surely have been driven mad by all of this nonsense. His blind refusal to accept the truth would never cease to amaze him. Assuming that assumption was right - and indeed, why would it not be? It had never been implied otherwise - Kaiba was better off at home.]

Kaiba would never say it, but there's no way he could tolerate a place like this for long. Being separated from the things that are most important to him and forced to acknowledge such bizarre circumstances... it would weigh on his heart.

No matter what Kaiba may have told you, there is little ill will towards him on my part. Even if it's disappointing to me as a duelist, I can hardly begrudge him the freedom he more assuredly desired while here.
