Announcement 001
[Whether you're waking up in the clinic just now, or have already done so and are now wandering the halls, a sudden screech of microphone feedback blares over the speakers before fading back out.
A moment later, a woman clears her throat. Her voice is husky and mature, but still feminine, and overall she sounds very authoritative...if not a bit sarcastic.]
Good evening, and welcome to the new school year. I hope your arrival was a pleasant one, last year everybody threw-up from motion sickness, it was quite messy.
[There's a long pause as she seems to think, or perhaps just let any anticipated bustling chatter calm down.] Now, you're all intelligent human beings...for the most part. But I suppose I'll pretend I'm talking to the insipid uneducated masses for a moment; it shouldn't prove too difficult.
[She clears he throat again.] In every hall, you shall find a small intercom. You may use that to ask me any questions after my announcements and "privately" converse. Now, if you head North down one of the halls near the clinic in the Central Wing and keep going, you'll eventually come to either the West or East Dorm Wings, depending on which fork in the road you chose. There you'll find all necessary bunk beds and spare socks.
So, make sure you're all well rested for class in the morning; we wouldn't want to get a failing grade now would we?
[And with that, there's another burst of feedback before her announcement abruptly ends. Anybody who had been wandering the halls will notice a distinct lack of...well, anybody else aside from new arrivals, the Nurse, and the Lunch Lady.
The strange woman over the loudspeakers may have mentioned classes, but the school seemed completely devoid of any teachers to provide those classes. In fact, a lot of things seemed...off.]

Have fun, and don't forget to tag the post with your series name and use warning headers when necessary!

no subject
Wait.
WHY DID HE MOVE OUT OF THE WAY?!]
Hey gal, you okay?
no subject
[She breathes shakily; trying to get herself under control as she takes a brief glance around at the strange, new environment that she seems to have appeared in. Her eyes don't wander long before she looks back at the man before her, however.]
S-stay back... please....
[Pyrrha slowly moves away a bit; prepared to run if necessary. She wasn't exactly in the best of situations before coming here.]
no subject
[No he's just going to hurt your head with his horrible, horrible pick-up lines. BUT FIRST...he puts his hands up in a surrender, just to prove he doesn't bite. Unless you want him to.]
But uh...you sure could do some damage with that sword of yours. How about putting that thing away?
no subject
[...This man doesn't seem threatening. He isn't holding a weapon, pitchfork or torch anyway- which instantly helps her feel a bit better. Pyrrha relaxes somewhat- though her sword is still in hand... she does lower it- just a bit.]
[The blonde responds in a wary tone; still somewhat cautious. If Tira were here, she would no doubt say that this man cannot be trusted... But without her 'friend' of sorts around, Pyrrha finds it easier to be a little more trusting of people at the moment.] Do you... do you know where I am?
Is this still Bavaria...?
no subject
Uhhh, I don't know about no "Bavaria", but last I checked I was in Vautl 101, and this ain't that either, so hey, we can be wherever you want baby.
[That is to say, he doesn't really care where they are right now.]
no subject
[Actually, Pyrrha's beginning to feel the same way as him. All that matters is that she's far away from where she had just been.] I... I suppose anywhere is fine... as long as it's safe.
[A pause. She looks the man over, almost questioningly.] ...-And the people are friendly...
no subject
I'm friendly so long as ya don't get on my bad side, ya hear? [He lets out a little laugh at his own...uh, joke.] You're doin' fine so far, so don't sweat it.
As far as this place bein' safe goes...beats me! But it sure seems a hell of a lot safer than the havoc back at 101 right now.
no subject
[What? I-is she "sweating it"?? Oh dear... Pyrrha self-consciously gives herself a subtle check for perspiration before speaking again.]
...I've never heard of "101"... But... it seems to be rather far from the wars sweeping across Bavaria as well. [Looking down the hall.] Perhaps this is a blessing after all.
It seems.... quiet, at least. [Perhaps even a bit too quiet? Such a large building, and barely a soul in sight... it's somewhat unsettling.]
no subject
[Butch lets out an excited little laugh. Ohhh...if only he had a baseball bat now!]
Gotta show all the little girls and boys around here who rules! And you-- [He looks at Pyrrha again, sounding a little more serious.] --Are you in, or are you out?
no subject
[...Who does rule this place??] I... I would imagine that the voice rules...?
U-um--! [Nervously;] ...I'm.. "in", I suppose..?
[Pyrrha has no idea what she's agreeing to even]
no subject
[Butch grins, and starts to turn to head down the hall.]
Consider yourself in the clear when me and the Tunnel Snakes take over this joint.
no subject
[Sort of. Not really. What's coming, exactly? And what on earth are "tunnel snakes"..? She's pretty confused right now
but such is her natural state.]Oh... um... [She gives a slight bow of her head as he turns away.] Thank you.
[Whatever decision she just made, it looks like it might've been the right one? ...Only time will tell.]
