Announcement 001
[Whether you're waking up in the clinic just now, or have already done so and are now wandering the halls, a sudden screech of microphone feedback blares over the speakers before fading back out.
A moment later, a woman clears her throat. Her voice is husky and mature, but still feminine, and overall she sounds very authoritative...if not a bit sarcastic.]
Good evening, and welcome to the new school year. I hope your arrival was a pleasant one, last year everybody threw-up from motion sickness, it was quite messy.
[There's a long pause as she seems to think, or perhaps just let any anticipated bustling chatter calm down.] Now, you're all intelligent human beings...for the most part. But I suppose I'll pretend I'm talking to the insipid uneducated masses for a moment; it shouldn't prove too difficult.
[She clears he throat again.] In every hall, you shall find a small intercom. You may use that to ask me any questions after my announcements and "privately" converse. Now, if you head North down one of the halls near the clinic in the Central Wing and keep going, you'll eventually come to either the West or East Dorm Wings, depending on which fork in the road you chose. There you'll find all necessary bunk beds and spare socks.
So, make sure you're all well rested for class in the morning; we wouldn't want to get a failing grade now would we?
[And with that, there's another burst of feedback before her announcement abruptly ends. Anybody who had been wandering the halls will notice a distinct lack of...well, anybody else aside from new arrivals, the Nurse, and the Lunch Lady.
The strange woman over the loudspeakers may have mentioned classes, but the school seemed completely devoid of any teachers to provide those classes. In fact, a lot of things seemed...off.]

Have fun, and don't forget to tag the post with your series name and use warning headers when necessary!

[He pauses when he hears that name, trying to decide why it sounds familiar. Hmm... no, he can't think of why. Definitely a very Italian sounding name.]
So, you said you haven't been here before, but have you been here long enough to find a place to eat?
[Norman is actually getting quite hungry. He would expect some sort of cafeteria in a school, so he supposes it's probably in the one area he hasn't explored yet. But would someone be there? Would there be food? Starving to death because he can't leave some creepy campus doesn't sound an ideal fate.]
no subject
[The man even sounds strange... he can't pin the accent.]
Unfortunately, no. I was more concerned with attempting the find a way out.
no subject
[Because surely he doesn't meant wearing a suit. That would be ridiculous.]
I guess you haven't come up with anything since you're still here. I've gotten outside, but can't seem to get any farther than that.
[Even ARI hadn't been any help, which was peculiar because he could always pick something up with ARI. For now, all he was finding were DNA samples that didn't match anything in the FBI database.]

[He hadn't paid too much attention to her clothes though, beyond noting that. The woman is lucky Micheletto hadn't run her through, but she seemed far too timid to have been behind his appearance here and far too weak to have held him back had he decided to leave. Killing her would have been pointless.]
I want to know how we got here. I was heavily guarded before I arrived, I do not understand how this could have happened.
[He's been trying to figure it out in his mind- was it the Assassins? Surely they would have bound him to prevent him from leaving, if they had wanted to take him as their prisoner. Even then, it doesn't make sense. He was literally surrounded by an army.]
no subject
[Really? There's one person dressed strangely around here and it's this guy.]
I'm afraid I can't help you there. For now we're stuck.
[It's all insanity, really. Norman is doing his best to keep calm about it, knowing that panicking won't help anyone. He's just grateful that he isn't alone here, however strange some of the other inhabitants might be.]
no subject
[He frowns, trying to seem less worried than he actually is.]
...No, I cannot accept this. There must be a way. I cannot be here.
no subject
[He emphasizes all the wrong syllables but c'mon, it's an unusual name!]
You can keep looking, but I haven't found anything useful yet.
no subject
I will find the way out of here.
[And when he does, he isn't going to mess about telling everyone else where it is. He has stuff to do back home. He starts walking away quickly, taking long, hurried strides.]
