Announcement 001
[Whether you're waking up in the clinic just now, or have already done so and are now wandering the halls, a sudden screech of microphone feedback blares over the speakers before fading back out.
A moment later, a woman clears her throat. Her voice is husky and mature, but still feminine, and overall she sounds very authoritative...if not a bit sarcastic.]
Good evening, and welcome to the new school year. I hope your arrival was a pleasant one, last year everybody threw-up from motion sickness, it was quite messy.
[There's a long pause as she seems to think, or perhaps just let any anticipated bustling chatter calm down.] Now, you're all intelligent human beings...for the most part. But I suppose I'll pretend I'm talking to the insipid uneducated masses for a moment; it shouldn't prove too difficult.
[She clears he throat again.] In every hall, you shall find a small intercom. You may use that to ask me any questions after my announcements and "privately" converse. Now, if you head North down one of the halls near the clinic in the Central Wing and keep going, you'll eventually come to either the West or East Dorm Wings, depending on which fork in the road you chose. There you'll find all necessary bunk beds and spare socks.
So, make sure you're all well rested for class in the morning; we wouldn't want to get a failing grade now would we?
[And with that, there's another burst of feedback before her announcement abruptly ends. Anybody who had been wandering the halls will notice a distinct lack of...well, anybody else aside from new arrivals, the Nurse, and the Lunch Lady.
The strange woman over the loudspeakers may have mentioned classes, but the school seemed completely devoid of any teachers to provide those classes. In fact, a lot of things seemed...off.]

Have fun, and don't forget to tag the post with your series name and use warning headers when necessary!

...Forget it.
[He turns around, sweating bullets despite that stoic look on his face.] Dealing with the horrors of Silent Hill is easier than dealing with girls.
[And then, with a look of utmost horror--] They'd give us swirlies for sure!
no subject
...But then... what are we gonna do?
Just 'tough it out' here..? We're not exactly well-equipped for a survival horror situation right now...
no subject
[He crosses his arms and goes into deep thought again, or at least it looks like it. Keeping up somewhat calm appearances are important!
HE'S TERRIFIED THOUGH.
If only this had been a Dragon Quest type situation. That they would have been prepared for!]
The lady over the intercom mentioned class the next morning. Maybe we just have to survive the night until people come tomorrow?
no subject
As soon as Yoshitake talks, Hidenori practically interrupts with how suddenly he bursts out with approval.]
EXCELLENT IDEA, YOSHITAKE! Better yet, there's bound to be a save point in the dorm!
[He stomps one foot forward and raises a fist determinedly.] WE SHOULD HEAD THERE RIGHT AWAY!
no subject
Who's to say that the voice can be trusted!? And how the heck does she expect us to get "plenty of rest", anyway? As if I could ever sleep in a creepy place like this...!
[Blinking] W-what if it's a trap!? What if we go to sleep- and we wake up with missing kidneys, man!? MISSING KIDNEYS.
no subject
[Clearly they've covered all their bases, which is why Yoshitake is just going to go head towards wherever the hell the dorms are!]
They can't take our kidneys if one of us stays awake.
no subject
You're right, it's very possible we'll get our kidneys abducted if we sleep unprotected.
[He looks to Yoshitake as he suggests Tadakuni stay watch and nods.] Right! While Yoshitake and I sleep, Tadakuni can stay up all night! It's settled then.
no subject
Why me!? [Tadakuni yells] Don't we get to vote or something??
no subject
You said you wouldn't be able to sleep. So logically you should keep watch, right? Right. Now where should we sleep?
[Nope, this isn't up for debate!]
no subject
[Hidenori clears his throat, speaking in a dignified, authoritative manner.] All in favour of Tadakuni staying up all night, raise your hand!
[He shoots both his hands up.]
no subject
[Furrowing his brow, Tadakuni looks to the blonde beside him.] Yoshitake-!
[HELP A BROTHER OUT, MAN.]
no subject
Now it's settled!
no subject
Alright! Then all that leaves is finding a room!
no subject
Y-you guys... [Defeated again!]
[But he wont forget this... OH, HE WONT FORGET THIS.]
...Fine, let's just get this over with! [Tadakuni starts heading down the hall; pushing past his friends as he moves between them and onward.]
no subject
Ah, don't be so moody, Tadakuni. At least you get to keep your kidneys tonight!
[That's clearly reason enough to wear a smile on your face
Forget the fact that he was panicking with everyone not long ago shhh.]Where did that lady say the dorms were? I wasn't paying attention. [Surprise.]
no subject
It looks like these are still classrooms. [Eerie...empty classrooms!]
no subject
Yeah- She said there were East and West dorm wings. [Because y'know, he was actually paying attention.]
[...Also, he's just... gonna slow his pace down a bit so that he's not stomping out ahead of the group. Not because he's creeped out or anything!]
no subject
Oh, well let's hurry. I don't want to be in this creepy hall any longer than I have to.
[And just as Tadakuni is slowing down Yoshitake is going to rush past him~]
Stop being slow~
