Two for one special! [Dark & Yugi]

[With an arcade room in the Campus now, there's no way Yugi wouldn't be there. He's a little late, maybe, but he's definitely set up shop there for today, occasionally moving from game to game once he's finished playing the one he was at before.

Of course, being Yugi, there's no way he'd keep this all to himself, which means he and his other self are swapping control every so often, making finding either of them just a matter of waiting... or coming into the arcade at the right time.]


((OOC: Since I didn't want to make two posts but wanted to play them both, here's a choice for you! You can either specify which of the Yugis you want to meet (the normal one or his "other personality," Dark), or you can just leave it up to me to pick! Just remember that Dark... doesn't take kindly to people who try to actually hurt Yugi, or himself.))

[He doesn't move, in fact, and thus is hugged, which causes a blush to spread across his face. Ack!]

W-What're you doing here?

[Lucky you, Wren realizes this might be just a tad embarrassing (It is for her too) and lets go, stepping back to shove her hands in her pockets. That's not a blush on her face either, really.]

Ha, sorry! I was gonna get a new dvd from the library, and I heard the noise. I can't believe we've got an arcade now, this is cool! [Her embarrassment fades, replaced by the grin again.]

It's good to see you again, Yugi. So what've you been up to?

Yeah, it is!

[Yugi beams, looking around at the arcade happily.]

We've finally got somewhere we can play a lot of games!

Oh, I've been okay. One of my best friends is here now!

I'm hoping Frogger's in here somewhere, I used to be really good at that one. ['Used to be'. It's entirely possible she'll get the frog squished within the first five seconds now.]

Really? That's great! I'm happy someone you know showed up. Okay, maybe not too happy for them being dragged here, but. What's their name?

[Wren wiggles her fingers in her pockets, rocking back and forth on her heels slightly.]

I made another friend not too long ago. His name's Yoyo, he's teaching me how to skate. I mean, he was before the weather went bad. But I've been practicing on my own in the hallways sometimes. I've got a lot of bruises.

[Despite that, she doesn't seem too upset about it.]

His name's Jounouchi-kun, and he's really nice! I bet he'd be nice to you too, Wren-chan.

[Because, well, it's Jou. He's a big teddy bear.]

Yoyo... I think I met him! He seemed kind of weird, but nice. I don't think I really know how to skate, though.

[ozren]

Jounouchi... [She repeats it to herself and nods. Okay, she can remember that.] He must not be a bad guy if he's friends with you. What's he look like, I can keep an eye out for him.

Umm, he is. A little weird. But not a bad kind! He thinks my drawings are cool. [Automatic points right there.] I'd volunteer to teach you, but it'd be a pretty bad idea since I'm still crashing into things.

He's really tall with blonde hair. He's wearing the same uniform that I do sometimes.

[And currently is, as Yugi tugs at his jacket.]

Maybe when you get better at it, you can teach me how.

Okay! Maybe I'll meet him soon.

[Wren laughs as she pulls her hands free to push her hair back. Things were so different here. She missed her aunt, but she had friends that weren't her drawings. It was nice.]

If you want. I'll make sure and dig up some kneepads too. I meant to find some for myself, but I got kind of lazy. ...Maybe a helmet...wonder how bad one would squish your hair.

[Just going to squint at you here. It's kind of a funny image.]

Um, probably not too bad. I've worn helmets before, but it's just hair. It gets pushed down and goes back up like anyone else's.

Where I come from I'm not used to neat hair like yours. [She gives him a smile before glancing around at the games. So many to pick from.]

Do you want to find something to play for a while, or were you busy?

[Wren's not even sure what dvd she was going to look for, so it's not a problem if she stays.]

It's still just hair, though!

[He blinks at that, taking his hands off the controls to let his character die and the game end.]

I'm free!

[That gets a giggle out of her.]

But I don't think you need a ton of hair gel to get it to stay that way!

[And now that you are free, say hi to a brief tug on your sleeve before Wren lets go and starts inspecting the machines again.]

We could try this one...maybe that- naw, boring. Tetris...[Wren's eyes widen as she sees something from the Mortal Kombat series. It doesn't look like the one she's familiar with, a later version maybe, but it's just as gory as ever from what she can tell. Nope, Yugi doesn't need to see that. She turns quickly and shifts to block the screen. Maybe he's already seen it, but she'd feel bad if he hasn't.]

Maybe a racing game?
