There's nothing actually keeping us locked up anywhere besides the ocean -- I was able to freely explore inside and outside without so much as being stopped. And on top of that, why bother with luxuries here? Especially ones that would require master spellwork, craftsmanship, or the ability to pull things from different worlds?

This is way too ornate and free for a prison. Maybe for a royal, or someone of very high blood, but if that was the case, it wouldn't nearly be as large. It's as if this place expects to hold enough for an army.
