CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: THE LANGUAGE BARRIER REINSTATED
[Today, something somewhere went wrong. On the evening on the 15th, any bilingual (or otherwise) knowledge granted by the Campus has simply...disappeared. At least for anybody walking by the North Wing.]

Instead, now he was on this weird island, with a bunch of people who all seemed to be talking in completely different languages. But it wasn't the fact that they were all speaking those different languages that had gotten Violet's attention -- rather, it was more that they seemed to be panicking over that. At first, he'd wondered if they had all just been displaced at once with no idea (like him), but on closer observation, at least some of them seemed familiar (or even comfortable) here, which certainly wouldn't have come if they had been so recently displaced.
It stood to reason that they'd been here a while... but then, if that was so, why the panic over the language?
It's what he planned to find out. Which is why the young swordsman can be found either outside, watching and listening to people, or in the library, flipping through books looking for something familiar and replacing them when nothing is found.]

Like everyone else on Campus, the language lock has Karasu frustrated, confused, and more than a little panicked. Unlike everyone else, it's not just because she can't understand anyone anymore, but also because she's used to speaking two different languages.

This was nuts. Beyond nuts. Kai had told him how insane this place could get, but having everyone suddenly talk in crazy languages so nobody had even the remotest idea of what anyone else was saying seemed to be a little bit over the top. And what made it worse was that it didn't seem like it'd be going away soon; everything was crazy when he went to bed yesterday, and it's still nuts!
There are two places Tenar can be found today:
The first is just residing on the roof, sitting on the guard-rail and kicking his legs out, occasionally blowing out to flip up one of his bangs or just grumpily muttering.
The second is just wandering the halls inside of Campus, trying to see if he can pick out anything he understands from what people are saying.]
