[...considering he's stuck in this youthful body, that doesn't sound quite right, but to hell with it. This was a pain.]
Tch... [Well, he'd had fun, anyway. The thief king's face when he'd hit the wall... That brings a smirk to his face that he quickly wipes away in favour of going with him. Being manhandled like this is actually more annoying than having his fingers broken. As grouchy as he is about it, he knows those instincts and feelings are little more than shadows. What he's feeling isn't his pain, after all. Maybe if he trained his abilities more he could use the Ring to cut it off entirely, but that would make him feel even less alive. Pain was part of what it means to be human, after all. It's part of the fun of existing, knowing there was that risk there. And wounds like this are nothing. All this is in the end... is an inconvenience.
Idly, he wonders if the thief king knows his control over his own body is dependant on the spirit's own whims. He could easily make the man his new host, though keeping him would be... difficult. He'd have to damage the soul irreparably to prevent him fighting too much - or even switch it out, if he was willing to keep the body constantly.
But thoughts like this that are swirling around his head are not helpful. He has to focus on going with the frustrating man.]
