[Helloooo Nurse!]

[Hey- waitaminute... THAT doesn't look like one of the nurses you may remember from your arrival in the nurse's office. Hm.]

[Nonetheless, she soon approaches you as you catch her eye.....]

Oh my; you look awful.

[Anna approaches you in the hallway; wearing a hyper-sexual nurse outfit. One must wonder whether this is the result of Campus-magic shenanigans, or just another highly impractical costume of her own collection.]

[Canting her head to the side; a look of faux-concern on her features.] Have you had a check-up lately?

I absolutely insist that you see me for... a thorough inspection. It's for your own good, really~

((OOC: ANNA HAS OFFICIALLY GOTTEN BORED ENOUGH TO RESORT TO HER USUAL TROLLING WAYS. Note: In case you don't know, this lady is a sadist who gets off on other people's pain/embarrassment- So if you respond here she WILL do her best to make you as uncomfortable as possible- be it through a brief casual prank or something much more sinister. She may get flirty, or put you through some pain, or humiliate you, or all of the above. Therefore, if there's something I just mentioned that you DON'T want your character to go through (i.e- nothing too sexual or no bruising or no humiliation)- please specify. Don't worry about outright gore or anything overly hardcore since she's mainly just in a playfully dominating mood. ~~Unless you desire otherwise~~.))

[Nero looks between the two of them as they nonverbally communicate, doing his best to try and keep his expression stoic and not so tell-tale. His eyes eventually settle on Pyrrha again as she speaks to him directly, although that eye contact is quickly broken as she tries to read his face.

The way she asks him how he felt about the invite as opposed to just following up on the offer didn't make things any easier on him. Now it was personal.]

Uh. [Nero looks away a forced begrudging looks and tone as he accepts.] Yeah, I guess.

[He smiles at Nero's response, glad that they'll be helping the guy out. He's been enjoying living with Pyrrha, and he doesn't see why having another person there will change anything. In fact, he's excited at the prospect of making another friend.]

Great!

[Now that that's settled, he digs back into the fish. Wouldn't want it to get cold.]

[....Well.]

It... it's settled, then. [There's a bit of a surprised tone to even her own voice as she says that; not having expected Nero to comply so easily. Does this mean that... perhaps, he doesn't dislike her so much after all...?]

[Pyrrha looks over at Nero as she asks herself this question; somewhat bashfully averting her gaze immediately afterwards. The girl continues eating with a small smile; thinking over the new turn of events in her head.]

[This is... progress, right?]

... [Nero shifts in his seat and leans forward again so he can continue eating. He wonders if he made the right decision right now, and how much he might end up regretting it within the next twenty-four hours.]

[Link and Pyrrha looked happy though, and it made it hard for him not to feel a little happy himself.]

[Not too long after the trio finish their meal, they travel back to the dorm room to get ready for bed. Link goes ahead and starts removing his gear, placing everything carefully next to his bottom bunk bed as he does so.]

Both top bunks are free, so take whichever you want.

[Beyond being glad to have another friend, Link realizes that another person will help keep the place safer. He promised he'd protect Pyrrha at night, so this can only help with that.]

[Feeling very pleased with a full stomach and yet another official roommate, Pyrrha stretches a bit as she enters their room and flops down to take a seat upon her bed.]

If you'd prefer to be on the bottom, though, I suppose I wouldn't mind trading... [Having already grown a bit accustomed to doing so in Link's presence, Pyrrha begins to remove only her outermost layer of clothing; starting with the ribbon within her hair, the capelet upon her shoulders, and then down to her shoes and thick leggings. She sets each of these down neatly off to the side of her bed after removing them, in a folded pile.]

-Whatever makes you most comfortable.

...The top is fine. [Nero mumbles dull reassurance to them both as he, much like earlier, heads for the top bunk over Pyrrha's bed after taking off his boots. Once he's up there Nero pulls off his sword and holsters, hanging them over the bedpost.

He hesitates on his jacket now that Link is around, even if part of his hand had been visible the entire time. Eventually he caves and hangs it over the bed post as well, followed by his vest. Lo and behold he was wearing a normal tucked-in t-shirt underneath all that! Of course it also shows off his Devil Bringer and how it goes all the way up to his shoulder.]

[Although Link had caught sight of Nero's arm earlier, now he can really see the whole thing and can't help but study it. Should he not mention it...? But he's very curious and if he doesn't say anything now, it'll be too late to bring it up later.]

Uh, Nero? If you don't mind me asking... where do you come from? I've never seen an arm like that.

[He hopes their new roommate won't be too insulted by the question.]

[Having been preoccupying herself with getting ready for bed, Pyrrha only subconsciously registers that Nero must be removing his clothes above her, as she sees his jacket hanging over the edge of the bed from her position on the bottom bunk. It isn't until Link asks the big question that Pyrrha freezes; a nervous feeling gripping her chest as she realizes that Nero's arm must be fully exposed now. Oh God...]

[This is nerve-wracking for... several reasons. The first being how much she knows that Nero hates when attention is brought to his arm. But the second, much more distressing matter is the fact that... Now there is the possibility of Link discovering exactly what Nero is. -And then what if that leads to him suspecting HER too, somehow??]

[But... but what should she do? What CAN she do? Should she try to distract from the conversation? Or would that only make herself look all the more suspicious? Should she cover for Nero? Make up some kind of lie..? But.. what could she possibly say that could dismiss such an obvious issue?]

[This arrangement... was a mistake, wasn't it? God; why didn't she predict this happening?? Now everything will be ruined and it'll be all her fault for being foolish enough to let it happen...!]

[Nero had expected this to happen, but still...he had been vainly hoping that maybe Link wouldn't say anything at all. It was his own fault, really, for getting his sling and cover-up bandages ruined awhile back, and then again just before meeting up with Pyrrha and Link. He hadn't had time to go searching for something else, and Nero had been feeling shaken enough to give in to Pyrrha's invitation earlier.

Maybe it was a mistake, maybe he should have kept his jacket on, but God if he didn't want to just be able to lay down for once without having to wear twenty extra pounds of leather and denim.]

[Nero still grumbles at Link's tactless question, leering slightly at Pyrrha below as if she'd become some sort of scapegoat.]

Fortuna. I got this arm in an accident.

[He grabs the blank, slinging it over his side and arm. His voice has a clear air of finality to it as he lays down on his side, back to Link.] No more questions.

Oh. I'm sorry.

[Now that Nero clearly is unhappy about the question, he regrets having opened his mouth about it. Link shoots him an apologetic look, but by then he's already facing the other way. Instead he glances at Pyrrha and shrugs, trying to think of something else to say to make up for causing his new roommate any discomfort.]

I set myself on fire once when I first learned how to use fire magic. I had healing potions, but I still have a few scars from it. That's kind of embarrassing though.

[The result of Nero's accident looks a lot more impressive than his.]

.....

[...Well, that... could have gone worse?]

[Pyrrha stares blankly ahead as an awkward silence stretches between them. She glances over at Link just in time to catch his small shrug, which she returns with a bit of a sympathetic smile. She considers changing the subject to something else- anything else, really- when suddenly Link speaks again.

[The girl blinks at his somewhat random confession... and then abruptly turns her face away; one hand covering her mouth as she stifles a small chortle. O-oh dear-- She isn't laughing at Link, honestly..!]

er- Um.... Th- that's awful...

[That has Nero turning back around to look at Link, his eyebrow raised. He sounds caught between wanting to laugh, and wanting to stay disgruntled.]

You...set yourself on fire? Remind me never to let you near Red Queen. You'll probably combust.

[That may be an embarrassing story, but at least it appears to have broken the ice there. He doesn't mind that Pyrrha's laughing a little... in fact, he's rather glad he could coax a laugh out of her.]

It only happened once... but yeah. What's Red Queen?

[Pyrrha's quiet laughter gradually came to a stop, though she continues to smother away the smile on her face. Laughter in general is something that comes very rarely for the girl; not only because of usually having very little to laugh at- but also because she's gotten so used to stifling it. Stifling a lot of emotions, actually. But gradually, here, with her two friends it's becoming... noticeably easier for her to express herself- even if only a bit.]

[Oh dear. Are these two about to go on about weapons again? Well at least this time, even Pyrrha is a bit curious. ~~Fire is... something that interests her, admittedly.~~]

Is that the name of your sword, Nero? Does it catch flame as mine does sometimes..? [Not even Pyrrha knows how or why it happens, it just does.]

[Alright, if he's going to be talking, he might as well sit back up and let his feet hang over the side of the bunk. His Devil Bringer remains mostly covered.]

Yeah. It's built into the handle. When I twist it flaming liquid sprays out. [He smirks.] It's pretty useful for ripping tougher enemies to shreds.

[And now Nero is sitting there willing to talk, so Link sits similarly at the edge of his bed so that he can see both of his roommates during the conversation.]

Wow... that sounds really useful. When I use my magic, a dome of fire surrounds me, then spreads outward several yards when I release it.

[Beyond that it isn't a threat to enemies, but close up it can be very devastating. He doesn't use it often because magic isn't really his "thing". Still, it's a useful tool for certain situations.]

I'd like to see your sword in action. And Pyrrha, your sword does that too?

[...At hearing Nero's description, Pyrrha can only be thankful that he didn't think to use that certain feature against her during their battle.]

[And Link's "dome of fire" magic doesn't sound very pleasant either. She shudders to think of how destructive a fight between these two could be. Hopefully when Link speaks of seeing Nero's weapon in action, he doesn't mean during an actual fight.]

U-um... yes. -Well, in a different way. [She averts her gaze. It's slightly uncomfortable to talk about, considering she had used her sword's flames while fighting Nero before.]

I'm not... really sure how it happens. [A pause.] I think my weapons may be enchanted with some sort of magic, but... I'm not really sure how it's triggered. Sometimes while I'm fighting, the flames just... appear.

[She looks over to her shield as it rests against the side of her bed.] But I have no idea who could have made such a weapon. My sword and shield were given to me by a... friend, so that I could fight back when in trouble. I have no idea how they became so strong. All I know is that they're not exactly normal...

[Ironically enough, her weapons were originally crafted to combat the "malfested"- or, in other words, demons. And they were created by a God, no less. -Not that she knows any that.]

...It's a little scary to think about sometimes. But I'm thankful to have them... even if I don't consider myself to be a fighter at all.

That wouldn't be a bad thing to have either. [Nero thoughtfully muses aloud, wondering if he could do something similar with his Red Queen or not.]

I'll show you next time we're out in the open.

[Nero turns his attention to Pyrrha as she speaks and, yeah, he certainly remembers her using that little trick on him back when they fought.]

I think I have an idea. [He says a bit sarcastically as she mentions how she's not sure "how it's trigger". Other than that, he says nothing once she's finished; it was Link's question anyway.]

Hm. I wonder if I could get my sword enchanted like that too.

[Maybe there's a Great Fairy who would do something like that for him, though he isn't holding his breath. It's likely that the Master Sword can't be altered, already having its own magical properties. Ah well...]

I look forward to seeing it. [He doesn't ask Pyrrha to show him her sword in action, however. She clearly doesn't want to use it, so asking would likely make her feel uncomfortable.]

Well, I think it's safe to say that among the three of us, we could take care of any threat that shows up here!

[In his opinion, this has to be one of the safest rooms to stay in.]
