Joint Post! Like an Old Married Couple
[From just outside the jungle's trees, near the mountainside, some bickering can be heard:]
Here. It's probably fresher than you'd like, but it's all we have.
...I can't eat that, Bakura.
You don't have the option to be picky, Malik!
No...I really can't, you fool!
Tch... I can cook it a bit more, but we have to be careful, or the smoke from the fire will give us away!
Ughh...can't you find some fruit? Just look up.
Do you want to die? If someone finds you while I'm out looking for fruit, you'll have worse problems than having to eat meat.
But Bakura... [Malik sounds a bit like he might be ill.] My stomach...
O-oy! Hold on a little longer, okay? I'll see if I can find something close by. I'll stay within earshot, so if someone approaches, scream.
Just get a couple...I don't need that much.
Be quiet, you idiot. You need to eat something. [He chomps down on the meat Malik refused to eat.]
Well? I can't eat anything if you don't go get something!
((ooc: So! Tags will come from both Bakura and Malik. If we're going to tag you with both on a turn we'll put a "1/2" in the subject line, otherwise it's just one at a time. Also since the two of them are injured, we just ask that nobody with magic healing powers comes along to heal them up and stuff. Thanks!

feel free to ignore!
[...But Aisling kind of wanted to meet this Bakura-kun. So have a face peering through the foliage, eyeing who she sees warily.]

It's quite an odd sight, the way the ghostly boy acts. Somehow both playful and uncaring at the same time - like a particularly evil and fluffy kitten. He doesn't notice the presence of the forest spirit.]
no subject
[She just happens to be crouched on a branch of an orange tree he's close to. Will he notice her?]
no subject
Who's there? Come out.

[Ah- that was the one Karasu had mentioned. The one that had sensed danger here. Interesting... what sort of power did this little girl hold? Well, best to play nice, for the moment.]
Yeah, she was here. Poor girl, she ran all the way here because she was so worried. You just missed her.
no subject
[Apropos of nothing:] You smell weird. Are you hunting?
no subject
Not right now. My friend won't eat meat, so I'm looking for fruit.
no subject
Oh. Well, here's some. [She drops a couple oranges from the tree. Watch your face.] I'm sure that'll be enough. Will you be going back to that school soon?[It isn't her forest, so she can't just boot him out, but she'd rather have it to herself until she's used to it.]
no subject
I guess that deserves thanks. But no, we're not leaving this forest for a while.

no subject
[Or until he gets too fed up.]
Why does it concern you?
no subject
Because I'm going to live here until we get out and home.
no subject
Then I guess we're trespassing a little. Heheh. Sorry, Aisling-chan! We'll get out of your hair as soon as we can.
[He really isn't.]
no subject
[She detects something in your tone, but she isn't sure what it is.] I guess I can let you stay. For a little bit.
no subject
[At her last comment, he grins wide, revealing the sharper incisors there.]
How kind of you.
no subject
I know. [She feels just a tad threatened by that, so in response, she shows her own sharp teeth.]
no subject
[The comment is given almost thoughtlessly, though there is a point to it. If that guy found them here, he'd probably burn the forest down just to make them come out.
Oh, that look suits you, little girl. He quite approves.]
no subject
He won't get into the forest. I won't let him. [Or she'll try not to, anyway. And likely fail, because she still has little linking herself to this place.]
no subject
Is that so? You must be pretty powerful, Aisling-chan.
no subject
[Or any reason, really. And then oh look, there's a wolf sitting in front of you, teeth showing and tongue lolling.]
no subject
The sight of the wolf makes him double-take and step back, however.]
The entire forest... Do you mean the trees or the animals?
no subject
[The wolf just nods. She's aiming for both, although who knows if he can tell that.]
