[To say Campus was the worst place ever to Judai would be an understatement. The no-classes thing? That was fantastic! He barely paid attention in class as it was, so not having to go at all felt like the best thing ever at first.

And then he realized the problem. It wasn't just the classes that weren't around.

Nothing ever happened here.

There wasn't any kind of organized events or fun dormmates to talk to or even a speech he could doze off during. Classes had been dull, but at least they had been something. This... utter nothing at all was boring. What kind of school didn't have a specialized dueling area, anyway?! This place sucked!

[Which is why he's taking his frustrations out by yelling in the middle of the hallway.]

[Ryou pauses in the hallway, startled into silence by the madman shrieking in the middle of the halls. Has he lost his mind out of sheer boredom? Or is he just naturally insane? He's not sure.

Though... he'd said games, right?]

U... uhm. [Wait, that was too quiet.] Excuse me! You said games, right?

[The timid noise doesn't even register to Judai, but when Ryou speaks up it does, and he turns around happily.

He blinks a little, pausing, then grins and nods.]

Sure did! You've got something?

[So cheerful... He's kind of impressed. It's not often he runs into people even close to this level of chirpy. It's almost contagious in a way, and it makes him smile back in turn.]

Un! I play lots of games. I prefer RPGs or board games to duelling, but I duel too. If you want to play something, I'd like to.

[He still has nightmares about Osiris, but somehow, it doesn't surprise him that Kaiba named a dormitory after it.]

I'm impressed! Kaiba-kun really is a master duelist, isn't he?

That's what I heard! The only person who ever took him down was Yugi, but I hope I get to duel him someday! I'm planning on being the King of Games someday, so that means I have to beat him first!
