[She follows after him immediately, trying to stay close, but not close enough to unnerve the boy.]

Really? It doesn't seem like it just based on this hallway. Does nobody ever really come here? Where do they all go?

[He's kind of used to girls following him around, actually. They always do that at school...it's a little annoying!

But Lisa's not annoying him, he's more worried than anything.]

I really don't know...sorry, Lisa-san. Hopefully Aniki will be able to help.

[Ryou's heading towards Aniki's dorm now, but stops a door down to turn to Lisa.]

I'll go see if he's home, alright? Please wait here. [He bows his head and then hurries off to knock on the door.]

Oh, right, you said you've only been here for a few days.

Go on ahead. I feel a bit better now.

[She seems to be in better spirits once they left the North Wing, maybe simply because the oppressive atmosphere was gone.]

[Ryou glances over at Lisa again before knocking, stepping politely back from the door so as not to crowd Aniki when he opens it.

...Ah, hopefully it'll be Aniki, and not the Ring possessing him. He should have thought this through better.]

[When the door opens, it's definitely not the spirit in control. It might be hard to tell at first, since he's still wearing the spirit's beloved black trenchcoat, but the lack of spikes are a dead giveaway. That and the confused look of friendliness on his face.]

Ah-? Hi, Shoutei! Is something the matter?

Ah, I knew you were twins!

Lisa clicks over once the door opens, smiling as she looks over the pair ~~blood slowly dripping out of one ear~~. No, that's just her earrings.]

You two are so cute. I've never met twins before.

U-un, thank you, Lisa-san.

[Ryou's not even going to argue the point. It's probably an easier explanation to swallow right now than the truth. He looks back to Aniki, bowing his head gratefully.]

Aniki, I was wondering if you could help me for a moment? Lisa-san's confused about this place, but I'm not really in any position to explain...

No, no, it wasn't. His eyes must be playing tricks on him. He looks from the younger him to the strange nurse, worriedly.]

Un. I can help. Was there something in particular you needed to know, Lisa-san?

Ah, where are my manners? Do you two want to come in?

I don't mean to impose, but thank you so much. You're both so kind. Ryou actually saved me.

[She beams at the younger Bakura gratefully.]

[Ryou waves his hand modestly when he's beamed at.]

Ahah, it was nothing so heroic, I just opened a door. Anybody could have done it, I was just trying to help.

[He nods to his other self.] Un, I'd like that, thank you Aniki!

...I'm confused. How does opening a door save someone? Were you locked in a freezer or something, Lisa-san?

[Stepping back, he holds the door open for them. His dormitory is relentlessly neat, for the most part, with few signs of being lived in.]

Welcome. Please make yourselves at home. There's biscuits on the kitchen table you two can help yourself to, if you're hungry.

Thank you. I think I just need to sit down for a bit and get my bearings.

[Lisa files in, taking a seat at the table.]

It's going to sound strange, and maybe a bit silly, but I can't quite remember. I was in the hospital. There was someone else. He was the one who locked me up, but I don't know why. It was so dark and I was so scared. I think...

[This time a trickle of blood drips out of her nose and it's not a trick of the lighting. Lisa feels something on her lip and idly dabs at it with her finger. Pulling her hand away, she gasps in surprise.]

Oh! Oh my god, I'm sorry.

[She darts over to the sink to keep from making a mess in her host's apartment. At least she doesn't appear to be panicking over this. Instead she just pinches the bridge of her nose and leads forward, letting any drops of blood fall into the sink.]

[Ryou looks curiously around when he enters, sitting opposite Lisa and noting the stack of magazines on the table. Were they all about motorcycles...? It sure looked like it.

He brings his attention back to Lisa when she begins to explain herself, startling slightly at the sight of blood.]

A-ah! Lisa-san, are you okay? [He hops to his feet once more.]

-! [Since his younger half had the panicked questions part down, he quickly went to grab her some tissue, offering it to her.]

Did you hit your nose or something? Do you want some ice?

No, no, I'm fine, really. [She takes the tissue and dabs at her face. Then the nurse turns back around, her face cleaned off.]

See? Just a small bleed, nothing to be worried about. I'm not sure what brought it on, but I'm okay. Sorry to scare you both.

[Lisa smiles at them both, trying to calm them down.]

Where were we again? Oh, right. This place is really strange. Ryou said you knew more about it.

If you say so... [Ryou seems a bit doubtful, and still clearly fretful, but he sits down regardless.

Since Lisa was addressing Aniki more than him, he kept quiet so as not to interrupt.]

U-un. I've been here longer, so I can answer whatever you need to. Well, as far as I know-

[Okay, Ryou, stop babbling... he smiles awkwardly, rubbing the back of his head.]

What did my Shoutei tell you already? [He shoots Ryou a questioning look.]

Not much besides how this place is a school on an island and that how people appearing on here is a common occurrence.

[She gives the younger Ryou an apologetic look.]

U-un, that's about it! [He waves a hand at that look, smiling pleasantly. There was no reason to look apologetic, he was freely admitting that he knew all of nothing about this place.]

[Sitting on the counter, Ryou ponders his words thoughtfully before he answers.]

There's not much specifically that can be told about the place itself. We know that the place is old, deserted, and surrounded by an impenetrable barrier that extends pretty high up. Whoever runs this place is capable of projecting holograms, so we don't actually know that the ocean beyond the barrier actually exists, but we're assuming it does.

Sometimes the headmistress speaks through an intercom, but I've never gotten to talk to her myself. Apart from her, the only staff members are the nurse and the lunch lady. Everyone else is in the same boat as you. People come here from all sorts of places, and all sorts of times - I've met people here from hundreds of years in the future, and hundreds of years in the past. So it's kind of difficult to pin down where - or even when - this place is situated.

[Lisa looks a bit overwhelmed by all this information, but not as much as one might think.]

So, we're all in a school another world... Do you know what the headmistress wants? I don't think I could be a teacher.

[Ryou over here is probably more overwhelmed by all this new information than Lisa, then. He stays quiet, blinking a few times with a knitted brow as he tries to take it all in.

A barrier...holograms...! The time-traveling thing he already knew about, of course.]

She says that we're all here to learn, so I don't think she's hiring. But she's never said anything clearer than that, to my knowledge. I don't even know her name.

We're all students? But I just finished my training as a nurse.

[She takes a cookie and nibbles on it thoughtfully.]

How long have you been here?

[Instead of twiddling his thumbs and looking as useless as he felt, Ryou grabs a cookie and idly, slowly eats it as he listens to the two of them.

What was he even sitting here for right now...? Aniki had it under control, and neither of them were addressing him anymore. It'd be rude to leave though...

Sigh. He'll just wait, he supposes.]
