[Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, you will hear the loud screeching of a microphone through the speakers before it dies down. Not long after, a familiar husky voice blares through said speakers.

Although her tone is somewhat pleasant, she manages to keep her authoritative tone as well.]

Good afternoon. [There's a brief pause.] You've all been quite busy, haven't you? It's, hm...interesting to watch, to say the least. But do keep the property damage to a minimum, will you? It's awfully rude to smash people's property on arrival, don't you think?

[Despite that warning, she manages a soft (if a bit ominous) chuckle.]

That being said, I hope you're all well rested. A good rest means a good grade, after all~.

[There's another burst of feedback before the announcement comes to an end.]

[Ivan grimaces as he's asked if he's a teacher, of all things.]

You're asking if I'm a teacher when I'm wearing a military uniform?

[He sounds more skeptical than anything; could anybody really be that naive? Then again, maybe that hair dye seeped into his brain.]

Haha. [Cute. Stupid and cute.] Then again, I can't blame you. I probably have more authority than anybody else in this godforsaken place.

[Yuj winces. The teachers he was used to wore uniforms like Ivan's so it's his naivety about Earth that he's very unfamiliar with. Sadly, that's not dye. His gold eyes look at Ivan with a slight bit of fear.]

S-sorry. I didn't mean to insult you. Wow, that's awkward. I'm...well, I'm not from around here so I don't really know.

[Meaning, Yuj isn't from Earth. Whoops.]

Um...oh boy.

[Ivan blinks, a look of surprise darting over his feature. He didn't remember giving Pegasus his full name...]

Maybe you should be talking to your comrade who came in fists first, ask questions later. [So he may have butchered the analogy a bit, but the point remained.]

[Ivan falls quiet again as Pegasus continues to threaten and insult him. He visibility tenses, looking caught between running away or trying to throttle Pegasus while he has the chance.

Eventually he decides to just gnash his teeth, hands continue to shake, but for more than one reason now.]

You're one to talk, Yankee. You acted like you'd been shot! If a man on my unit acted like that, I'd show him what real pain was.

[Ivan's eyes widen and his lips pull into the slightest smile when he spots that subtle look of fear in the other's eyes.]

It's fine. [He takes a few steps forward, leaning in to intimate as that smile of his pulls into a toothy smirk.] Just don't let it happen again~

[Yuj backs up against the wall and gulps. While he can defend himself pretty well, he's not about to start something he knows he might not be able to finish. His eyes blink behind the smokey lids, his mouth parts to exhale.]

O-okay. So, uh...is there a specific custom that I'm supposed to know?

[Huh... Boone wonders how many people have been smashing this place to bits already if this lady has to mention it. That also rules out her voice being a recording, unless she anticipated this kind of violence. Who knows? Boone isn't exactly a genius, he can only rely on what common sense tells him.]

[He had, upon arriving, almost expected to be thrust into a classroom and forced to learn. That hasn't happened yet, so he has no idea what the woman means by "grade". All he knows is that all the wrong kinds of people are milling around here, and he's just waiting for the inevitable blow up. He's grateful for his rifle, even if he is pretty pissed that he can't use it to paint the walls with Legion blood like he wants to.]

[Right now, he's having a smoke and leaning against a wall in one of the hallways, arms folded. He's thinking of hunting for supplies- stimpaks, ammo and decent food would be nice, and he wouldn't say no to additional help.]

[When Yuj backs up, Ivan follows up by taking a few steps forward. He simply can't help it, when somebody else is showing such blatant trepidation.]

Yes, actually! [Ivan cheerfully pipes before suddenly reaching out with one hand and grabbing Yuj's crotch.]

[Without a place to run, Yuj is trapped and with his crotch being grabbed so quickly, he's up on his toes with a squeak. His hands try to grab at something on the wall, but he can't get a grip on anything.]

I-is that how you say...hello?

[Instantly, he's stunned but his face is now three shades of red showing brightly on his cheeks. He can't help but notice the blatant confidence of Ivan.]

[Ivan can't help but feel this is all too good to be true. Is he dreaming? If anybody tries to pinch him he'll punch them into next week!]

Yes... [He says with a small grin before blatantly looking downwards toward his groping hand. A moment later he forcefully yanks his hand backwards while still holding on to Yuj and then promptly lets go as he takes a few quick steps back.]

[There is a sharp pain coming from his groin and instantly, Yuj collapses down onto his knees in pain. His hands hold the now strained and sensitive area of his crotch. The leather he wore only made it worse.]

Uhn...

[He groans, his voice cracks, which already sounds rough to begin with from living in a harsh environment, he can't bring himself to stand up just yet.]

Ahhh....

[Ivan looks down at his hand as Yuj sits on the floor in pain. Well, that was certainly a good way to start his day.]

Well, what are you doing down there? Get up!

[He rolls a bit on the floor and tries to stand up. His knees feel a bit wobbly from the pain, but he does eventually stand with a groan that sounds pretty gravely.]

S-sorry.

[He's still doubled over and uses the wall as support. Oh, the pain tears through him like hot pokers.]

I-I didn't mean to...that's some custom.

[ If the situation wasn't complete and utter shit, that may have earned a chuckle. Instead, Pegasus just receives a smile. ]

I'm afraid it's not. I'm part of a strike unit that takes out modified cybrids should they step out of line. Most common cases are serial murders.

[ Leo glances back up to the sky. To the naked eye, it seems fine but he knows what's actually there and that's what bothers him the most. ]

Tearing down walls isn't going to do much good; it's that barrier we need to worry about. We're stuck here so long as that stays powered... and I doubt it's like the ones back home.

[ The mention of the woman garners his attention and Leo's gaze wanders back to Pegasus. ]

I've actually talked to her. She insisted she was just "borrowing" us but it's blatant kidnapping. Have you seen her in person? ... Or know where she stays?

Get used to it. [He chuckles and begins to pace around in front of Yuj.]

I take it you're new here?

[He takes in some deep breathes as he watches Ivan pace in front of him. His gold eyes are a bit bloodshot from holding back the tears that threatened to come but didn't quite form. His voice is mixed with his heavy breathing.]

Y-yes.

[Ivan hums thoughtfully. It would probably be good to make alliances, wouldn't it? Supplies where still a bit of an issue, and worst of all life was rather boring here without the Colonel to pamper him or his men to beat-up. Ivan could use something to make life a little more interesting.

The idea of having a few beautiful men waiting on his every whim flashes before his eyes. He is instantly drunk with ambition.]

Well, I'll let you know rooms are limited. You'll probably have to stay with somebody.

[He should really catch the best fish while they're still in the sea.]

What are you doing with that chair?

[Ivan just stares from several feet away. Did his fat ass break the chair he already had?]

[Yuj tries to straighten up, but man that still hurt. He'll probably be limping for a few steps. He's been hit on his tackle before while surfing, and always he's told to walk it off. It still doesn't get any easier.]

I-I don't have a room. I've been staying on the couch.

[Which is something that he got used to while staying at NORA house. He's thin enough to sleep anywhere, really. The rifle rests on the small of his back by a magnetic clip, he often forgets it's there.]

[And just at that moment, another Leo quickly rounds a corner!]

gh-! [And promptly walks right into the tall man. The teenager stumbles back a bit but maintains footing; looking... UP at the stranger with wide eyes.]

[Woah! This guy is huge...! Leo guesses him to be... what? 6'5"? 6'7", even?? The German can't help but stare for a moment.]

[Ivan smirks, eying Yuj again. He does note the rifle, and wonders how good the boy is with it. He could definitely be useful.]

Lucky you, I have a spare bed.

Oh good.

[He breathes gain, his composure is returning slowly, but that reminder of Ivan's instant but painful greeting does make him think that people from Earth are very strange.]

The couch isn't all that comfortable and after a while, it kinda hurts the back. That, and it gets a little cold sometimes.

[Is this for real??? How did Trip even GET here? It looks like... an old... school, or something? That voice DID say something about a "grade". So that means... this is the kind of place where people gathered to learn, before the war, right?]

[Trip doesn't know much about what that era of history was like, really- not many people do. But what Trip DOES know is that buildings like this certainly don't exist anymore... Do they?]

This can't... be happening..! [Is she really alone here? Where's Monkey...?]

[Ugh; this is terrible.]

[Ivan starts walking and gestures for Yuj to follow.]

Well, it's settled then~ And as long as you don't wake me up at night with any snoring, or bother me when I'm busy, we'll be fine.

[He does so without question, because yeah, that was pretty painful and he doesn't want to make this guy mad.]

Uh, sorry for asking this, but don't you want to know my name first?

[He gives a little huff, and pout.]

[ Leo isn't expecting another person to be rounding the corner and by the time he notices, they've collided. He doesn't budge - he has his weight to thank for that - but he does reach out in an attempt to steady the other person. ]
