[Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, you will hear the loud screeching of a microphone through the speakers before it dies down. Not long after, a familiar husky voice blares through said speakers.

Although her tone is somewhat pleasant, she manages to keep her authoritative tone as well.]

Good afternoon. [There's a brief pause.] You've all been quite busy, haven't you? It's, hm...interesting to watch, to say the least. But do keep the property damage to a minimum, will you? It's awfully rude to smash people's property on arrival, don't you think?

[Despite that warning, she manages a soft (if a bit ominous) chuckle.]

That being said, I hope you're all well rested. A good rest means a good grade, after all~.

[There's another burst of feedback before the announcement comes to an end.]

[The German straightens somewhat; brow furrowing.] No... If I knew that, I'd definitely be heading there myself right about now.

But from the sounds of it, she definitely always knows where we are. Like she's always watching... [A pause.] That's kind of related to what I was just doing, really. I figured that someone who was always watching us wold need a lot of cameras to do so- especially in a building this big.

-I haven't found any yet, though. Maybe they're just really well-hidden..?

I wasn't able to pick up any cameras on my scanner. ... But I guess that doesn't mean they can't exist; there might be a way to smother their signal. It just seems unlikely given the tech around here's... [ A pause as he looks back the way he came. ] Well, it's old, we'll just leave it at that. [ More like ancient, geez. Even Cayman's arm is better. ]

My name's Leo, I'm a member of the BPS. If you do come across anything, let me know. Kidnapping on a wide scale - this whole thing needs to be nipped in the bud before it gets any worse.

[At that, Leo blinks; before letting out a small laugh.] Well, Leo... [Extending a hand for a shake.] You can call me Leo too. -Most people do.

I'll be sure to let you know if I come across anything.

Another Leo, huh? Can't say I've ran into one before.

[ He takes the extended hand, giving it a girm shake. Though his arm is initially cold to the touch, it warms upon contact. ]

Thanks though. Any information'll help at this point. [ And then to promptly shift the topic over to something equally important: ] So where is everyone currently staying? I'm guessing they'd need beds if they've been around as long as you have.

It's a pretty common nickname all over, I guess. It could be short for lots of things, after all... [Counting on fingers] Leone, Leonardo, Leopold...There are even people who refer to Galileo by that name. [A chuckle.] Pretty functional, right? Though I guess almost anything's better than my full name... I don't really think it suits me much.

[Leo blinks; noticing the change in temperature. That's kind of cool..!]

[Releasing the man's hand.] I can show you to the East or West dorm rooms if you want. [Gesturing for the man to come along.] They're straight down this way; just follow me. [Leo turns to walk off down the central hallway, towards the dorm areas.]

It's not that common in Milvallen, even as a nickname. [ He smiles. ] But... Leopold? Here I thought Leonhardt was bad enough.

[ When they let go of his hand and start down the hall, he follows suit. ] Dorm rooms, huh? Guess that should've been obvious.

Leonhardt? [Now there's a name you don't hear often- especially as a first name.] Heh... I dunno- I think it's kind of charming. [A smile. Leo mulls it over; continuing to walk.] Almost makes you think of... "Lion heart", you know? And that's pretty cool.

[A pause. Then, Leo awkwardly mumbles-] ...A lot cooler than "Eleonore", anyway. [Yes, a distinctly feminine name.] It's just so... old-timey.

[cybrid]

[ Even though it's mumbled, it's easy for him to overhear. "Eleonore". It is undoubtedly feminine and he can see the conflict between the name and how this person presents themselves. ] ... Leo works better, I think. For both of us.

[ Though he goes quiet for a moment, he steals a quick glance at them as they continue down the wing. Hopefully they don't find it too invasive but he has to ask: ] Any specific pronouns I should use?

[At first Leo doesn't quite understand the question but it clicks soon enough. The German chortles.] I dunno, are there?

[Waving the issue off with a smile.] Nahh, not really. I've gotten used to both. You're free to call me a girl if you want... That kind of thing just doesn't really matter to me.

[Leo scratches at the back of her head.] Just so long as you don't call me "kid" or "kiddo". Now that's annoying...

[cybrid]

[ It wasn't until her full name came up that Leo even thought about it. When you live in a world where people can get any kind of body they want, stuff like that isn't readily obvious. At least he didn't offend her by asking. ]

Yeah, I can see how that'd get annoying. I didn't care much for it either back when I was still a teenager.
