[Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, you will hear the loud screeching of a microphone through the speakers before it dies down. Not long after, a familiar husky voice blares through said speakers.

Although her tone is somewhat pleasant, she manages to keep her authoritative tone as well.]

Good afternoon. [There's a brief pause.] You've all been quite busy, haven't you? It's, hm...interesting to watch, to say the least. But do keep the property damage to a minimum, will you? It's awfully rude to smash people's property on arrival, don't you think?

[Despite that warning, she manages a soft (if a bit ominous) chuckle.]

That being said, I hope you're all well rested. A good rest means a good grade, after all~.

[There's another burst of feedback before the announcement comes to an end.]

[There's not really any concern in his voice or expression; just confusion and a bit of curiosity. This seems like just a normal kid; a kid with vey good balance, apparently, but still.]

[At least he sounds confident enough.]

[Oh wait...teenager. There probably isn't a point.]

[Andrew shrugs, not sure what the guy wants him to say.]

Uh, I don't know. I guess I just enjoy the adrenaline rush of being on the edge of a tall building.

[Even though his voice remains quiet and his tone a little awkward, it takes on a light enough tone that it's obvious that he was joking.]

You don't sound too excited.

[AKA: Why are you just...standing on the edge of the building? Just for that, Alex joins him over there, leaning out even farther. He would fall were it not for the tiny little tendrils at the bottoms of his shoes anchoring him to the roof.]

[When Alex moves Andrew watches him from the corner of his eye until he realizes he's just joining him on the ledge. He shrugs.]

It's okay. Not like being in the city or anything.

[He nods.]

It really isn't. You know how people go on about the New York skyline? They haven't seen it from 1200 feet up on a roof. It's just you and the city up there.

[He looks at the boy.]

Where are you from?

[A bit distractedly.] Yeah...I know what you mean.

[But he comes back to Earth pretty quickly.]

I'm from Seattle.

New York.

[He pauses, watching Andrew closely for any hint of two and two being put together.]

[Andrew's face remains even.]

So you spend a lot of time high up?

[Tricky. Could mean the kid knows nothing, or that he's good at hiding it.]

If I could get away with it, I would never come down. It's peaceful above the streets.
