ANNOUNCEMENT 002
[Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, you will hear the loud screeching of a microphone through the speakers before it dies down. Not long after, a familiar husky voice blares through said speakers.
Although her tone is somewhat pleasant, she manages to keep her authoritative tone as well.]
Good afternoon. [There's a brief pause.] You've all been quite busy, haven't you? It's, hm...interesting to watch, to say the least. But do keep the property damage to a minimum, will you? It's awfully rude to smash people's property on arrival, don't you think?
[Despite that warning, she manages a soft (if a bit ominous) chuckle.]
That being said, I hope you're all well rested. A good rest means a good grade, after all~.
[There's another burst of feedback before the announcement comes to an end.]

Get. Off.
[He's too unfocused to try strangling the profligate again, but by Mars is he tempted. Damn wastrel probably gave him a concussion.]
no subject
[This is a mistake however, as once he's on his back, the glaring lights from up above do nothing to soothe his splitting headache. He sits up in place; holding his throbbing head with a sharp curse. Miguel grumbles;]
Dios mio...
[He peers around through squinted eyes; trying to get a feel for his surroundings. Only now does it fully dawn on Miguel that he has no idea where he is- and can barely remember how he got into this situation. The Spaniard looks over at Vulpes with an expression of pure confusion.]
....
...'The Hell are you? [Yes, he has forgotten their encounter almost entirely.]
no subject
[He grabs his fox hood, which had fallen off during the fight, before slowly boosting himself up on his forearms. The question earns Miguel an unimpressed scowl- or maybe that's just how he looks at everyone.]
Perhaps if you had not poisoned yourself with that drink, you would recall.
[How anyone could indulge in such self-destructive behavior is beyond him. The world doesn't realize how lucky it is to have people like Caesar who are able to bring back civilization in a time of such crisis.]
1/2
Oh yeah... I remember something about an annoying woodland creature...
[A shrug.] Not my fault that the man beneath it happened to be far more forgettable.
[Lazily scratching at his messy hair, the Spaniard goes to slowly rise up to his feet; looking around...]
no subject
[But the question remains-]
...Why am I in a school?
no subject
I'm not particularly inclined to answer your questions, degenerate.
[Meanwhile, the legionary works on getting to his feet despite the way the hallway is still less steady than he would like. Perhaps he had better visit the medic here, assuming she doesn't try to treat him with profligate medicine.]
no subject
[Furrowing his brow, Miguel snaps at Vulpes' response; reaching out and grabbing hold of the man's arm firmly.]
You're about to find yourself inclined along the floor again if you do not answer my question, pendejo.
[Neither of them are in the best condition to fight another round right now- but that's never stopped Miguel before. He wants answers; and unfortunately Vulpes happens to be the only person around to provide any at the moment.]
no subject
[When Miguel grabs his arm Vulpes' other hand twitches, as if reaching for a weapon that's not there. Hn... if only he had his ripper, this encounter would have been over hours ago.]
You're about as frightening as a mole rat, I hope you realize.
[While fighting right now isn't really an option, giving in and answering this individual's questions really isn't either. He has to have some self-respect, doesn't he? Even if he agreed to help, Vulpes doesn't know much either way.]
Act out against me again in violence and I promise that you will sorely regret it.
no subject
It's not as though I could trust any information coming from a man with a dead animal on his head anyway.
[At the threat, however, Miguel smirks.] Oh yeah? You shouldn't make promises you can't keep, pendejo. You owe me a drink, by the way.
But go ahead and run along now... I'll always have time to 'collect' later. Think real hard about how you'll word that apology. Perhaps then I wont need to teach you any more lessons in the future.
no subject
[At that return threat, Vulpes levels the profligate with his most unimpressed stare yet.]
I don't expect I'll need to concern myself with any of that. You'll likely drink yourself dead before I come across you again.
[The stare remains as he waits for Miguel to leave. Someone of his own importance is not dismissed; he dismisses others. He also holds his ground as further evidence to the other man that he isn't afraid of him in the least.]
no subject
[Miguel stares back at the other man; still waiting for him to take his leave.]
.....
.........
[Brow-raise.] Well? I'm sure you have a long day of shopping for more dresses ahead of you; don't let me keep you from your busy schedule.
no subject
[Vulpes continues to stand there with his arms folded, showing no signs that he's about to leave.]
If you are so eager to be rid of my presence, then I see nothing stopping you from leaving.
[Beyond his issues of pride, Vulpes isn't about to turn his back on someone whom he fought with earlier. Especially not with those additional threats.]
no subject
Or perhaps this is merely an excuse to remain in my presence, eh? Are you that entranced by my dark looks and natural charm...?
no subject
I've met ghouls who are more charming than you are, but I suppose that is a low standard to meet.
no subject
You make the mistake of sleeping with someone once and suddenly they want to spend the day with you...
Spending some time in my arms simply wasn't enough, eh? [The truth is, despite his joking, Miguel would prefer for this not to linger on for much longer as well. Who knows how many people saw them laying with each other in that awkward position? Such things aren't really good for his reputation. But he's certainly not going to be the one to move.]
I hate to break it to you- but you're not my type.
no subject
I didn't sleep with you.
[While Vulpes wouldn't normally be concerned with what people think about his private activities, how they were passed out... wasn't at all private. If people thought he was sleeping with drunk profligates, that would deal a damaging blow to his reputation.]
I know your type- the mongrels who share the gutters with you.
no subject
I believe you did. We were both with each other as we slept after all. Although, if such things had been your intention all along, I don't think you needed to go as far as to choke me into unconsciousness for it.
Why not just come out with your infatuation for me, eh? [Grinning, he opens up his arms.] Come on- let's hug it out like men. I know how much you long for this dirty mongrel's touch.
no subject
Trust me, profligate, if I had used you, you would be well aware of the fact.
[He wouldn't be walking straight again, but that time for different reasons.]
[Vulpes stands his ground when Miguel opens his arms, keeping his own firmly crossed. No, he can't let this man provoke him... he has to keep his cool.]
I strongly suggest you take this opportunity to leave.
no subject
You say that as if you have experience in "using" men. Have I pegged you correctly after all..?
Go on; tell me more about how you'd use me.
no subject
[He ignores the question, but kindly decides to comply with the command.]
Well. First, I'd beat you senseless. Then I'd take that broken bottle of yours...
I think you understand where I'm going with this?
1/2
no subject
[Anyway.]
[Miguel is beginning to suspect that there may be something a bit off about this fox-head-wearing-man-in-ancient-Roman-clothes. It's not that he believed or feared the man's threat so much as how easily those words even came to mind that was slightly brow-raising. Still, he tried not to let any particular reaction show on his face.]
But I'm the filthy degenerate, eh?
no subject
Indeed you are.
[It isn't a threat he would actually go through with, no. That isn't his style. Vulpes prefers purer forms of punishment, namely decapitation, dismemberment, burning or (his favorite) crucifixion.]
no subject
[A smirk.] Annoying. People like you are the worst of any kind. Always militantly self-righteous as you sit on your high horse... And at the same time too cowardly, blind, or stupid to give yourself a good look in the reflection of that glass house you live in.
no subject
What a blow you've dealt to my feelings. Fortunately, I suspect I'll make a full recovery in time.
