ANNOUNCEMENT 002
[Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, you will hear the loud screeching of a microphone through the speakers before it dies down. Not long after, a familiar husky voice blares through said speakers.
Although her tone is somewhat pleasant, she manages to keep her authoritative tone as well.]
Good afternoon. [There's a brief pause.] You've all been quite busy, haven't you? It's, hm...interesting to watch, to say the least. But do keep the property damage to a minimum, will you? It's awfully rude to smash people's property on arrival, don't you think?
[Despite that warning, she manages a soft (if a bit ominous) chuckle.]
That being said, I hope you're all well rested. A good rest means a good grade, after all~.
[There's another burst of feedback before the announcement comes to an end.]

[Okay, well THAT's quite obviously bullshit. But eh, it's not as if Miguel isn't used to drinking with men as they spout their nonsensical bullshit stories about what actresses they slept with or how they killed a bear with their bare hands. Still, of all stories to tell, this is quite the strange one. What era does this guy think he lives in exactly?] ...Alright, sure.
But I'm still not seeing what any of this has to do with dressing like a man of the Middle Ages. I've never seen anyone walk around like that before; important friends or not.
no subject
[Micheletto shrugs slightly.]
I am from the year 1500. I have been here a short while, now... I have met others who are from many years into my future and dress similar to you. I have never seen anyone at home wear an outfit such as yours.
[He feels another terrible jolt of homesickness at that, but pushes it aside. His eyes instead focus on Miguel's clothing.]
I am still not used to it, but I have found that pretending it is not happening does not work very well.
[He has to be strong... it wouldn't do for him to lose face amongst all these strangers.]
no subject
[Miguel opens his mouth to respond... and then closes it.]
.....
[A sigh. When Miguel speaks again, he looks downward; hanging his head slightly.]
...I spoke to a talking bear a few weeks ago. He asked me for directions.
[Pausing.] I suppose that this isn't the most impossible thing to happen to me recently. ...I'm drunk enough to believe it at the moment, anyway.
no subject
...What?
[Talking bear? Is he mocking him?]
I would prefer to be drunk also, but I suppose it isn't the best idea... if I am attacked, I do not wish to be too drunk to fight back. I do not know how many of us have been pulled here, but I am sure they are not all friendly.
no subject
[A shrug.] Heh; I don't like to live my life in accordance to "what ifs", amigo. -Ah; but that must be why I am me... and you are "noble".
[Miguel rests back against the wall.] And anyway, it's good to know that this place won't be entirely boring. I'm not so friendly myself, you know. Don't make the mistake of thinking that I am always this charming with every Miguel who comes my way.
no subject
[Micheletto does, at least, smile very slightly at his next words.]
From your build, I can see that you are not always so friendly. I suppose I should be flattered that you chose to show me this side of you. Do you do such a thing often, or am I simply special?
[He chuckles quietly and clasps his hands together over his lap. It's nice to have decent company, after so long alone in that tiny little room. Usually, he would have been quite hostile and guarded towards strangers. He hasn't let that guard down now, but he's so glad to simply not be alone that he's keeping his behaviour in check. Besides, it wouldn't do him much good to be making enemies here.]
no subject
[Leaning forward with a smile.] Why yes, you should be flattered.
If you weren't special, you certainly wouldn't have been allowed to lay a finger on my drink.
[A shrug.] What can I say? Those who have had the misfortune to travel through certain dark fires sometimes have the ability to recognise a fellow fire-walker. You piqued my interest. [Slowly, he smirks.] And if I had to guess... I'd say you initiated conversation for the same reason. You don't exactly strike me as a man who is "always friendly" himself, hermano.
no subject
Then I am flattered.
[He returns the smirk, and nods slowly. Miguel has him there.]
I can be terribly... cold, it is true.
[More like, he can be a terribly sadistic asshole. Still.]
You did interest me, si, and not only because you happened to be clutching a bottle of drink- but we have much in common. I am sure that we both sensed this.
no subject
[Curiously.] So; what's this master of yours like, anyway?
I'm sure that there is some quality to him that makes your master worth serving... -outside of his prestigious birth, right?
