Screw the intro rules, I have money!
[So, after the very loud and disruptive sound of a jet-plane making its decent, this lands nearly in the courtyard:

And from that ridiculous jet steps out none other than the multimillionaire, Seto Kaiba. He looks steely-eyed as usual.
...Now, this wasn't the KaibaCorp building. Which was especially bizarre, considering he was driving the damn thing.]

[While he normally would just ignore a handshake, this time Kaiba makes an exception for the one and only creator of Duel Monsters.]
Then let's not waste any more time. [He turns, opening the cockpit to his jet. There were two seats, one behind the other, and Kaiba climbs into the first.]
no subject
Still, he can't look a gift horse in the mouth so to speak, so Pegasus was willing to take his chances. The handshake lasted all of a few moments just as when they'd first shook upon their very first contract to work together. Nostalgia made Pegasus smile.]
Of course.
[He can't say he's ever been in a jet like this before, so it's a little odd to maneuver in yet he managed to slip into the second seat behind Kaiba. He wanted to wait at least until the man turned on the engine before he proposed a third passenger. They'd have to just make room, somehow. After all, he wasn't just going to leave Lee behind.
But for now Pegasus waited, quietly, seated dignified in the back. His voice carried on from behind at the younger CEO's ear, though he wasn't really thinking on that so much as reflecting on his situation.]
This is an awfully intricate design for a jet you have, Kaiba-boy. I'm impressed.~

[Flipping a few switches and adjusting some dials, Kaiba seems to be getting them ready for take-off. After a minute he grabs a headset and places it over his ears before turning the ignition.
The engine makes a brief, sputtering noise...and doesn't start.]
... [Kaiba instinctually looks at the various guages and readings on his dashboard before noticing the most important thing of all: the fuel. It was well below E.]
What? But I just filled it up. Unless... [Whoever conspired to send him here also pierced his tank. Had he been leaking fuel the whole way here and really never noticed...?]
Pegasus! [He pulls the headphones down, letting them rest around his neck as he turns to address the other man.] Where can I get some fuel around here?
no subject
[Of course, not to say that he isn't a big fan of seeing the monsters he created put to use in such an elaborate manner but the fact that it was fashioned after the Blue-Eyes...Well, Pegasus wasn't going to fuss about it now, especially not when he had a chance to go home.
Pegasus' hopes were already rising when he saw Kaiba flipping the switches and the cockpit closing as it should. Oh, this was exciting! He's very hopeful, especially since this was going to be way more exciting than riding first class!
And then, of course, by a twist of fate, the damn thing doesn't even start!
The shock and dismay on his face is almost comical as he heard Kaiba's question.]
W-what?! Oh, you can't be serious! What do you mean i-it's out of fuel? You seriously...seriously didn't fill your tank up all the way to get here? Oh, damn it all!
[He was about to have a conniption fit, this was so terrible and frustrating! His one chance...gone. And now Kaiba was trapped here too!]
There isn't any fuel around here! Where do you expect we'd find jet fuel in a place like this? You can't just find that kind of thing lying around!
no subject
I did fill-up before I left. Somebody must have sabotaged the jet.
[Re-opening the cock-pit and flipping the button to open the engine compartment, Kaiba then climbs out of the jet.]
I'm checking the engine. It might just be a malfunction.

[Pegasus grumbled and crossed his arms, pouting quite distinctly now as he confined himself to the jet seat and just resigned himself to remaining there while Kaiba checked his supposedly "impeccable" machine. To think Kaiba could make such a mistake as forget a little maintenance or something like that was almost improbable.
He'd never known the boy's inventions to be prone to incidents like this before. Something was just fishy about this, all around. Pegasus smelled a rat, and he didn't like it.]
...Fine. Let me know what you find.
no subject
...The engine...has been replaced with a...toaster.
[He can hardly believe what he's saying.]
no subject
You don't seriously expect me to believe that!
[Only, sure enough, as he moved for a better view...There it was. A toaster.]
Oh my god!! Aauggh. This place gives me migraines.
[Pegasus slumped as he lowered to the ground again, rubbing his temples. He's this close to having a fit, like before. Pegasus just couldn't imagine that someone somehow stole Seto Kaiba's jet engine right from under his nose and replaced it with a stupid toaster.]
no subject
...This doesn't make any sense. I flew here. How could this...?
[He brings a hand to the bridge of his nose, pinching it in frustration as he folds his other arm over his chest.]
What is this...? [Was he still dreaming? Had he gone crazy?]
no subject
[He admitted with a heavy sigh. A missing engine...how the hell did they expect to find that if someone deliberately wanted to hide it?]
You see, whoever is running this operation doesn't want us to leave. I wish I had better news for you. And for me, really. I'm so disappointed. It's dreadful.

[KaibaCorp had a lot of enemies, to put it simply, and Mokuba was all alone without him. He trusted his brother to be able to keep the company safe, but that's not what concerned him.]
... [Suddenly struck with an idea, Kaiba turns his back to ignore Pegasus as he pulls out his flip-phone and attempts to make a call.]
no subject
[He retorted with a frown, lamenting the fact that Kaiba could be so insensitive. Of course he had concerns, but Pegasus did too! Especially since he was the Creator of Duel Monsters, and there was a lot of responsibility he had to tend to to keep his affairs in order. Here, he couldn't do that. Now everything was going to fall apart without him or Industrial Illusions, without a head, would be chopped into little pieces of stock and sold out from beneath him by competitive/opposing corporations and/or shareholders.]
What will become of Duel Monsters now..?
[He said aloud, his voice heavier now. He's already been here two and a half months and he's altogether rather tired of it. Except...Pegasus did catch a little of those thoughts, hearing Kaiba's inner turmoil made him feel even worse. Of course Kaiba had his little brother to worry about. But still, it wasn't so easy to swallow knowing that you were essentially taken away from your entire life.
When he saw the phone go to the boy's ear he relaxed, thinking for a moment that there might be a chance that it'd get out.]
no subject
There's no signal.
[Now he knew KaibaCorp could go on with him missing for awhile. After all it ran itself, with the help of Mokuba and the Big Five, well enough while he was in a coma. Still, to be gone again so soon wasn't good either.
And Mokuba...damn it. If only he had taken him with him. Then again, Mokuba still being back at KaibaCorp might be his only way out of here.]
Hm... [Kaiba turns his gaze up towards one of the roofs. It was doubtful, but maybe he could get better reception up there. Without even telling Pegasus what he was up to, he suddenly turns and heads for one of the doors leading into the building.]
no subject
Truly it's a depressing if not sobering line of thought, but perhaps a practical one.]
Ah...Wait! Where are you going...?
[Of course, as predicted, Pegasus followed after him, wanting at least to know that much considering he was the only person he was familiar with from home.]
no subject
[Upon swiftly entering the school halls, Kaiba pauses, looking down either end to try and locate a stairway up the roof. When he spots that crude image of some two-dimensional steps he makes a beeline for it, his trench coat flowing behind him.]
no subject
[Not that Kaiba could go far but now he feels a little sheepish. With nothing to do besides follow after him Pegasus did just that, his long stride aiding in bringing him close behind as they crossed the threshold into the hall, and towards the stairwell.]
no subject
... [After a minute, it's clear he's holding back quite a lot right now just by the way he harshly shuts his phone and stuffs it back into his jacket.]
Nothing. We're in Dead Zone.
no subject
[He sighed, with his hands up in a shrug. He then proceeded to take out his own cell phone, a rather cute little number that was an exclusive Disney model. In any case it wasn't going to get any signal either.]
Hn. Well, what should we do now? I guess I can give you the rundown of what's been happening so far but...none of us have escaped you know. Not even me, I'm sorry to say! And believe me, I've tried.
no subject
This is a school--there should be computers somewhere. Do they have broadband, dial-up, anything?
[Pegasus has no doubt tried that already, but Kaiba wasn't satisfied until he did so himself. Besides, his laptop could access KaibaCorp's intranet, and from there he could get a hold of Mokuba.]
no subject
...I hate to tell you this, but there are but unfortunately I've never managed to make them function.
no subject
There still might be a connection if I hook up my own computer.
no subject
[Pegasus was a little annoyed but he's not a fool. He recognized Kaiba's abilities as a duelist as well as his tech prowess, therefore he wasn't going to persuade him from trying. If anyone could find a way, it would be Kaiba.]
Not that I'll stop you. Honestly if you can do something I can't, you really are a genius.
[Pegasus was fine with heading back inside, as it was rather warm on the roof anyhow. He hardly wanted his skin to get damaged.]
no subject
Hn. Is that a challenge? [Because he would happily live up to it, as they descended the stairs and arrived once more in the school halls.]
Where's the nearest computer?
no subject
[Pegasus responded automatically, moving alongside Kaiba so that he could at least kind of be his guide. In fact, that was what he was intending on, and he thus moved slightly in front to lead him in the right direction.]
Here, I'll show you.
no subject
...Pefect. [He rushes over, pushing one of the computers side and flipping open his laptop. Now he just needs to find either a cable connection or a phone cord and he should be able to get one of the two going.
Unfortunately, it only takes a minute of looking at the other computers and the wall to realize that there's no such thing. And of course he also tried to turn on a couple of the computers with no luck. Kaiba tested the plugs, the wires, he did everything short of opening them up because at that point he realized it was a pointless effort.
Kaiba walks back over to his laptop, closing it with one hand and heading back at the door.]
There should be a phone in the office. [This was his last, quick-fix chance.]
