Please don't bite the newbie!

Just a little to the left and open!  [Sibyll announces triumphantly, standing up and pushing the door open to what should have been an unexplored ruin. Except it's not. Clearly confused, she takes a few steps into the bizarrely green courtyard. Pulling out a handgun, she looks around, clearly bewildered. Behind her, the door creaks shut and vanishes into the wall.]

Wait, no! [A little panicked, she presses her hand up against where the door used to be, tapping it lightly in an attempt to hear a hollow 'thump' that may indicate a hidden door. Not that there's any to be found.]

...Well, damn.

He's from seven hundred years ago. He has no stake in our conflict, and therefore I have no reason to concern myself with him siding with my enemies.

[Beyond that, he and Micheletto are ideologically similar in several ways. He took a risk, yes, but so far it's paid off.]

I don't know. Perhaps you will meet him one day and can ask him questions. He's difficult to miss... tall, with black hair and a beard, dresses very strangely.

[As though Vulpes is one to talk about dressing strangely.]

There is little else to say about this place. Perhaps you will find out new secrets in time.

We ordinarily part ways during the day.

[While he would consider Micheletto an ally, he isn't exactly a friend. Vulpes tends to have allies rather than friends.]

[He gives her an unimpressed look at that question.] If I knew where he slept, he'd be dead already.

If it was straightforward, I wouldn't need assistance.

[He continues to scowl as Sibyll once again invades his personal space, and casually shoves her aside with his elbow. Vulpes then considers the woman's suggestion. It sounds fishy to him... makes it possible for her to play both sides. At the same time, there's wisdom in it if she truly is on his side.]

I suppose it might be best if you are. [He's reluctant to admit it, but having someone on the "inside" could indeed be a benefit.]

We'll see.

[He's not going to be too optimistic about it, but he also highly doubts Boone would let her take it to make a reverse plan for her to gain Vulpes' trust and spy on him. Boone simply doesn't trust him to be armed, for obviously good reasons.]

Well, now that you know where to stay, I assume you don't need my assistance anymore?

[Of course not. Boone has no right to his weapon. Stealing it back would surely be a good deed... although giving it to Vulpes again isn't necessarily a way to gain good karma.]

Incredibly, I have better things to do than feed into whatever... ideas might be floating around your degenerate mind.

[He isn't saying you are a degenerate, just that you're behaving like one!]

Come speak to me if you find out anything useful.

[With that, Vulpes turns around and heads toward the opposite wing where his own dormitory is located.]
