Joint Post! Like an Old Married Couple
[From just outside the jungle's trees, near the mountainside, some bickering can be heard:]
Here. It's probably fresher than you'd like, but it's all we have.
...I can't eat that, Bakura.
You don't have the option to be picky, Malik!
No...I really can't, you fool!
Tch... I can cook it a bit more, but we have to be careful, or the smoke from the fire will give us away!
Ughh...can't you find some fruit? Just look up.
Do you want to die? If someone finds you while I'm out looking for fruit, you'll have worse problems than having to eat meat.
But Bakura... [Malik sounds a bit like he might be ill.] My stomach...
O-oy! Hold on a little longer, okay? I'll see if I can find something close by. I'll stay within earshot, so if someone approaches, scream.
Just get a couple...I don't need that much.
Be quiet, you idiot. You need to eat something. [He chomps down on the meat Malik refused to eat.]
Well? I can't eat anything if you don't go get something!
((ooc: So! Tags will come from both Bakura and Malik. If we're going to tag you with both on a turn we'll put a "1/2" in the subject line, otherwise it's just one at a time. Also since the two of them are injured, we just ask that nobody with magic healing powers comes along to heal them up and stuff. Thanks!

You--!
[He gives Bakura a look, knowing the other man was capable of summoning monsters much stronger than he.]

Earl of Demise!
[Even as the demonic swordsman rises out of the earth below them, blade lifted to point at Caim, his thoughts turn to the other card. He'd grabbed this one from the machine where he got Karasu's cards.]
Necroface, awaken! Defend him!
[The disturbed-looking creature takes position inbetween them, shielding Malik and giggling wretchedly.]

His sword at the ready, he tears into the deceased-looking creature, hefting the large blade in a series of slashes as if it weighed nothing. The face thing guarding Namu is ignored, but not forgotten about, should it try anything.]
1/2
Hahahahahahahahaha! You're interesting, stranger! So then! Let's ramp this up a bit!
[He draws two more cards from his deck without even looking, glances them over and summons them. The Earl's blood spills over the ground in a fountain of red as it disappears, leaving Bakura gasping from the pain. Even if those two are weaker individually, all he needs is recovery time to summon something stronger.]
2/2
Without the Millennium Rod, he can't just ask. So, just in case Caim tries to attack the monster defending him, Malik summons a second monster of his own should anything happen.
It takes a fair bit more energy out of him than Bakura to do it, but at least he's got something.]

ACCEPT MY ICON CHOICE, DW (also 1/1, no Malik this turn)
Gyahahahahaha! More! Show me more of that darkness within you!
[Raising his hand sharply into the air, he gestures for the arrival of Earthbound Spirit, with its stronger defenses against attack, and sends the Portrait's Secret out to attack him from behind.
It felt good... this vicious assault on his senses.]

With a silent battle cry, he meets the empty armor head on in another clash of swords. Not even trying to hide his sadistic grin now, he brings his sword down on its with a nearly inhuman strength, shattering its blade. He stepped back to finish it off when something grabbed his leg. It was one of the new creatures the pale kid had brought out. Swinging the sword in a downwards arc, he struck at the creatures hand, then once again cast a fireball at the odd painting monster.]
1/1
The pain of losing the painting monster wracks Bakura's body, already weakened from the summoning and the loss of the previous ones. It brings him down to one knee for just a moment. His right eye squeezed shut in pain, he watches Caim with the left one as he fumbles for the rest of his deck. Right now he isn't even sure if he's trying to kill him or just enjoy the fight.
Time to ramp it up further. So far, everyone's been physically inclined.]
DARK NECROFEAR! Your turn-!
[The ghostly woman fires a beam of light at him from the chittering doll in her arms.]
At least this isn't an almost hour long gauntlet like one of the missions in the game ;A;
The blast from the female specter catches him off-guard and sends him tumbling away, mercifully out of reach of the headless knight. He's back on his feet in a flash, changing positions from one of attack to one of guarding. If he can just position the suit of armor in between himself and the demon woman, perhaps he can use the creature as a temporary shield.
Once again, the sunken undead grabs for his legs. Momentarily dropping his defensive stance, Caim brings his sword down on the creature's head, tip first.]
1/2
Oy, oy, Bakura. Stop playing and just kill him already!
2/2 I remember that, sob.
[His breathing is a little harsh despite himself. At Malik's cry, Bakura glances over at Malik with a strangely curious look in his eyes. His lips quirk upwards into an odd smirk.]
Heheheheheh. What's wrong? You're not enjoying the show?
[Rising to his feet, he turns on his heel and walks over to Malik.
Behind him Dark Necrofear's attack shoots out again. There's a sharp spike of pain in his chest as the zombie within the ground disappears in a flurry of blood and sparks, but he doesn't seem to react to it much after the initial flinch.]
Right now, I doubt he'd notice if we turned to gold. Get on my back. I'll carry you out of his range.
Then you had to do it all over again, only with skeletons! DX
In the meantime, he ducks behind the animated armor as the ghoul woman launches another one of her attacks, using it as an inhuman shield. He's on the defensive now, simply blocking attacks from the armor, letting the demon woman destroy it for him.]
1/2
Besides, why should I have to move because of him? Just kill him! He already attacked me once.
2/2
[He snarks without thinking, checking his deck. Only a few useable cards left. Maybe he should just put the man to sleep and be done with it.]
If I'm going to even try that, I'll need your cards. Ha Des is the only other strong one I hae left.
