Joint Post! Like an Old Married Couple
[From just outside the jungle's trees, near the mountainside, some bickering can be heard:]
Here. It's probably fresher than you'd like, but it's all we have.
...I can't eat that, Bakura.
You don't have the option to be picky, Malik!
No...I really can't, you fool!
Tch... I can cook it a bit more, but we have to be careful, or the smoke from the fire will give us away!
Ughh...can't you find some fruit? Just look up.
Do you want to die? If someone finds you while I'm out looking for fruit, you'll have worse problems than having to eat meat.
But Bakura... [Malik sounds a bit like he might be ill.] My stomach...
O-oy! Hold on a little longer, okay? I'll see if I can find something close by. I'll stay within earshot, so if someone approaches, scream.
Just get a couple...I don't need that much.
Be quiet, you idiot. You need to eat something. [He chomps down on the meat Malik refused to eat.]
Well? I can't eat anything if you don't go get something!
((ooc: So! Tags will come from both Bakura and Malik. If we're going to tag you with both on a turn we'll put a "1/2" in the subject line, otherwise it's just one at a time. Also since the two of them are injured, we just ask that nobody with magic healing powers comes along to heal them up and stuff. Thanks!

Are you hiding from me?
no subject
[As if he'd ever admit to that! What an asshole...]
no subject
[He loves how nervous Bakura sounds. Even if he can't see him...this is good enough.]
no subject
Bastard! I'm not even that polite to the people I like, why would I be polite to you?!
no subject
[It was about as far from a concerned suggestion as it got; Malik was taking a sadistic joy in his obtuse threats]
He won't be around much longer.
no subject
And where the hell would he be going? If you do anything to hurt him... I'll kill you!
no subject
[He outright laughs now, that eerie, not quite-sane laughter echoes throughout the Ring.]
You'll kill me? Then you'll have to kill him too! There's nothing you can do to stop me, Parasite.
no subject
[That laugh gives him chills. But Malik is wrong. There is something he might be able to do. Still, he bluffs.]
I'll kill you both if I have to. You're helpless right now... Whether you admit it or not! As long as Malik is so vulnerable around me, I can just slit his throat while he sleeps... and you won't be able to stop me.
no subject
If I hurt him...you'll kill me by hurting him. You don't like him, but you'll threaten my soul to prevent him from suffering. It's almost romantic.
[He mockingly laughs before suddenly exclaiming his conclusion.]
...Your plan is as full of holes as the Ring you reside in!
no subject
[No, no, bad. He mustn't get flustered by stupid shit right now!]
Shut up! He'd be better off dead than putting up with losing his body to you!
[Hypocrite.]
no subject
Don't take it personally, huhu...
no subject
[Just going to stand outside the door connecting them and yell now.]
I'll tear your soul into pieces before I let that happen! Malik is mine!
no subject
You're the last remaining link of hope Malik has in this place. Without Rishid, he's hardly more than a defenseless baby bird, ready for the snake of his darker side to grab him and crush him in its coils.]
I'm more powerful than you, Parasite. You can't do anything to stop me. When I crush Malik's soul...I'll be sure to torture him in place of your affection.
no subject
[Riled up? Oh yes, he's riled up. He's so riled up that if Yami Malik were to stand in front of him, he'd punch him in his bitch face! He doesn't even notice where he's standing. Too close for comfort.]
I have power beyond yours!
no subject
Come on then, show me your power! If it's so beyond my own...you shouldn't be so afraid... [He chuckles in his usual, unsettling manner.]
no subject
And then the other Malik calls him afraid.]
I'm not afraid!
[Hands clenched into fists, he steps forward, intending on punching the bastard in his smug bitch face.]
no subject
As soon as Bakura steps out of the room of his Ring, Malik reaches out and grabs him by the neck. They were in his domain now...he had the upper hand!
Bakura was nothing more than a passionate fool!]
Well, well...look who finally decided to show himself. [He lets his tongue hang out, slurping it back up into his mouth a moment later.]
no subject
[Too impulsive... whatever plans he'd had were gone in an instant. Though the darkness of the area hides it, his shadow begins warping as if in agitation. His fingers grasp at Yami Malik's wrists tightly.
Despite his distres, he manages to keep his cool a little this time.]
Heheh... Since I can get out of here at any time, I thought it was a little less boring to see what you were up to, Malik.
[The fuck was that tongue doing? He knows the guy isn't hitting on him, so why the fuck is he doing that?]
no subject
Then you plan to flee as soon as I put you into danger, is that it? Huhu...you're just like my dominate half. You can't do anything properly.
no subject
That's uncomfortable. For a moment he's reminded of that sickening pressure of before. In response, however, he manages a confident smirk. This won't kill him. He's not sure of it, but his hopes are high. And if Malik is here 'in person', so to speak...]
Idiot-! I'm nothing like Malik! I just like to see your face... when I get to snatch away your hopes!
[...then he can still fight.
His knee slams out suddenly, aiming for Malik's stomach with all the force he can muster with half of his air supply gone.]
no subject
...Despite the pain though, he starts up with a low, wheezing laugh.]
Good! It wouldn't be any fun if you were like him...!
[But this is Malik's domain. It was his soul room, and so suddenly there's what sounds like great many-ton blocks shifting and falling into place as the darkness pulls back enough for his room to become visible.
If it wasn't clear before, it is now. The room is divided in half, one side an amalgamation of the outside world and a tomb, with a motorcycle at its center and the consuming desire for revenge heavy within the ancient Egyptian-style art on the walls. Photographs of Rishid and Ishizu eluded to Malik's concern and love for his family still, although the edges had become warped and twisted with his goals with the effect being worse on his sister's. Then, in the corner...sat the Millennium Ring.
The other side of the room resembled a tomb as well. It was much darker and smaller, but slowly encroaching on the half-way point between the two even now as Bakura watched. This half of the room was haphazard, thrown together with what seemed to be scraps thrown in from the other half of the room. But where there was still an innocence buried within Malik's light half, this half held nothing of the sort. It was sadistic, the markings on the wall showing nothing but a desire for power, and a desire to consume its other half.]
Do you see now? Fighting me is useless. Look at how close I am! [He swings an arm back, pointing at the line between souls.] I might be able to take over any day now. Huhuhu...!
no subject
His gaze flickers from one side to the other, taking in the change.
This is bad... he's never seen a soul room like this before, but even he can tell that. It's like watching a disease moving in real time. Malik's mind must have been severely damaged by whatever he's gone through.
...and what the hell is his Ring doing here?]
What? The only useless thing I see here... [Lifting his hand, he points straight at the other Malik.] ...is you!
no subject
Luckily, Bakura doesn't know that.
And that's why Malik keeps talking. To keep him here. Bakura...you are nothing more than fodder for him, and you don't even realize it!]
Hhuh...is that so? After all I did for the precious Malik you know...I took away his guilt, his pain and suffering! A little "thank you" wouldn't hurt!
If he hadn't of made me...he would be me!
no subject
However... [Slipping his hands into his pocket, he shoots Malik a scowl. He still wants to punch him in his face.] ...feel free to disappear anytime.
no subject
I won't be. [Malik takes a few steps back into the room, taking a seat atop a stone slab in the center. For whatever reason, this slab was more consumed by his darkness than the rest of the room, despite the majority of it rising in Malik's light half.
He leans forward, hands on his knees as he lets his tongue hang out again. Wriggle wriggle~ Sluuurp!]
But I can't say the same for you. Huhuhu...
