CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: EVERYTHING AND THE KITCHEN SINK

[Hopefully everybody likes waking up outside.

Because as it were, in the middle of the night when everybody had been asleep or lulled into a sudden one by the sheer weight of the air around them...the Campus disappeared in its entirety. Left behind was only the cool surface of the concrete foundation.

For now it seems the residents were left to fend for themselves in the wilderness of the island. Not even the voice from over the intercom would comfort them.]

((ooc: the school has disappeared, along with all the NPCs and everything that was inside! no opt-out areas this time around. The temperature is cool during the day, and colder at night.

The event will last until October 20th, and I'll post a closer to signify it. Everything will be returned to its rightful place then.))

[...The worst part is, if she looks too long at his hands, she's tempted to lick them off. As it is, she just sort of drags or tosses the bodies in, ignoring the stink of burning fur for the sake of NOT being tempted to devour them raw.]

[She won't need to worry about that for long, since Bakura takes a seat by the fire and licks his hands off himself, dropping the teeth carelessly into his lap.

The stench of fur cooking isn't exactly appetizing to him, but Bakura doesn't really mind it. He's just going to try and carve holes into these teeth with the tip of his knife while the food cooks.]

[Ug. And you call her a wild animal. It cooks in silence, at least, though she's wishing she had thought to bring a knife, just watching him fiddle with his.]

[Bakura pockets the teeth once he's done carving into them, gesturing lazily towards the fire.]

Are you resistant to fire in your Ka form? Try flipping them over.

I don't know. I never tried actually putting my hand in fire.

[...But there's no way else to do it, is there? Sigh. She changes again, then gingerly tries to turn them over. It's definitely not "resistant," as the growls of pain clearly show, but at least her tolerance in this form is enough to handle it.

...though he gets to see the bizarrity of a dragon sucking on its hand.]

[When Karasu actually does it, he's a bit surprised. What an obedient Ka she is!

...And what a bizarre sight indeed. It amuses Bakura enough to make him grin, but not much more. Silently he turns back to his ministrations, searching his person for some sort of string or chain he might be able to use for his teeth.]

[At least the scales mostly dampened the burning. One good thing about being a dragon, she supposes.

She remains in her dragon form, at least long enough for everything to finish cooking and her to yank it out. That starving feeling is pressing on her, so she unceremoniously shreds the cooked bodies apart, ripping them into pieces that can actually be eaten... at least, so she hopes.

A quick shift after that, and... well, "wild animal" isn't too far off the mark, especially with those sharp, inhuman canines of hers.]

[Such power and bloodlust! While Karasu tore away at the bear, he could feel the splatter of warm blood on his face. It was still pretty raw inside, after all.

Bakura lets out a laugh, leaning forward to snatch a few large chunks of meat for himself. He picks the reddest he can find in arm's reach and digs in, lacking even the slightest of manners. Hope you enjoy the sound of him chewing!]

[She doesn't seem to notice it at all, in fact, the apparent rawness of the inside never even registering. Right now, that transformation has left her not caring, so long as it's food that's shoveled into her stomach.

Before too long, she's managed to devour about half of what she brought all on her own, licking the juice and blood off her hands and mouth and pointedly avoiding his gaze.]

[This girl was mannerless! He liked that... Bakura could see her potential, it was just a matter of manipulating that innocent soul of hers. No one was beyond corruption.

She may be avoiding his gaze, but considering the way he was intently eying her as he ate, it was only a matter of time.]

[Ug... she really was an animal. She hadn't even thought about how she ate that much around everyone else, but him... she's embarrassed showing that side to him. Maybe that dragon was replacing her, somehow...

Sigh.

She still makes sure not to look at him, laying down on her stomach near the fire and closing her eyes. Nope. Not gonna say anything.]

[Burp.

Bakura messily wipes his face with the back of his hand, having eaten his fill of meat. As he continues to stare at Karasu, he smirks and flicks his tongue out across his lips to lap up any remaining blood.

Now, perhaps he could use her to help him steal the items under the guise of "training" as well...]

[...Geeze. She glances over at that, noticing the staring and sitting back up, feeling uncomfortable.]

What?

[He speaks languidly, tired from his meal.] Just thinking of your next lesson...

By the way, that flying lesson counts as another favour. You're up to four now.

Yeah, yeah, I figured as much...

[Sigh. She lays back down, on her back this time, and closes her eyes some to relax.]

You need to work on being lighter on your feet, for one.

[Bakura leans back against a tree trunk, folding his arms and closing his eyes. He wasn't going to sleep with her around, but he could rest his eyes.]

"Lighter on my feet?" I don't think dragons are known for being quick-footed thieves.

Feh! I'm not expecting that much, but you can still do better! If anything...it might be useful for you to gain those skills in your human form, h-hehe...and then you can transform when you need to defend yourself. Or attack.

...Are you trying to convert me?

My Ka is under my unwavering command...my soul is my own! Don't you want the same?!

[moderndaydragon]

That depends on what you mean. If you mean having my "ka" listening to me and my soul as my own, yes, I do.

...If you mean being under your command, no. Not even close. I don't want to answer to someone like that unless I actually care about them.

H-heh heh... [Is she that suspicious of him still? Of course she is...] I meant the first, of course. Isn't that what I told you? I'll help you tame your monstrous soul, and in return you do favours for me.

You're the King of Thieves, aren't you? A thief doesn't become a good thief without having a silver tongue. The King of Thieves would have to be a King of Liars, too, wouldn't he?

So you'll forgive me for being suspicious of the double-meanings.

[He'd almost be proud of that perceptiveness of hers if he weren't frustrated by the fact it was being used against him.

He leans forward suddenly, grinning widely as he barks out his brash reply.]

As the King of Thieves my tongue is coated with blood and gold! ...I don't have time for silver!

A gold tongue, then. Whatever precious metal it is, the point is the same, isn't it? I can't take what you say at face value, because it's easy to hide meanings in words.
