[Normally, one might count walking into a standard classroom only to find a bright, sunny beach instead to be a very pleasant surprise. But as Tadakuni stood there; blankly trying to wrap his head around what just happened- Only one question plagued his mind enough to dwarf all other concerns.]

WHY AM I IN SCHOOL TRUNKS AGAIN!?

((OOC: Welcome to the Beach Room! Once inside, everyone who enters will suddenly appear dressed in swimwear of some kind. Unfortunately, those who try to leave will find an invisible barrier blocking them from exiting the room for at least 3 hours. So have fun, take a swim, play some volleyball, enjoy the cheesy beach-party music, or find some other activity to occupy your time! Emergency suntan lotion will of course be instantly available for all you beach-goers to avoid a nasty sunburn!))

[And as if to present an ironic counter to Pyrrha, here comes a built man wearing nothing but a sunny speedo. He's walking around holding a bundle of sticks he's gathered when he happens upon a damsel in obvious distress]

Hmmm? Pardon me, but are thou alright? You seemed verily distressed.

[Pyrrha turns to address the voice that spoke to her.] It's just that--

-!? [The young woman gasps at the man before her; abruptly turning away with a reddened face.] Y--your clothes...!

[She covers her eyes. That's the least amount of 'coverage' she's seen so far!] I-- I'm sorry...!

[Pyrrha suddenly feels like she really shouldn't be here.]

Hmmm? Oh, yes! My apologies, but I am afraid that once I entered this particular....peculiar place, my armor was stripped from me. I can only be thankful that it did not take mine weapons or I would be more distressed than thou! Ahahaha~

[So smiley and nonchalant he's like Nonchalanto!]

But unless you were the one who caused us all to loose our apparel, then you have little reason to apologize!

[Well, he's certainly... cheerful. After a moment of pause, the girl shyly peeks over from between her fingers at the mention of 'weapons'.]

Quite so, madam! I am an adherent of the Lord of Sunlight, more commonly known as the Warriors of Sunlight. T'would be most difficult to be a warrior-knight with no weapons, would it not? Ahahaha~

[Pyrrha has never heard of any "warriors of sunlight"- but it certainly sounds important! She gives the man a polite bow.]

Why yes! I was a knight of Astora before becoming Undead in order to make Pilgrimage to Lordran, the birthplace of the Lord of Sunlight, Gwyn. Upon my arrival, I become a Warrior of Sunlight, whom are composed primarily of knights! One could say I am a knight twice over! Ahahaha~

But there is no need to bow to me miss. We are all comrades in our bondage to this place, are we not? I could hardly ask for one of my comrades to bow simply because of my status a knight. Tis rather uncouth, at least in my humble opinion.

[He smiles warmly as he describes that, his time in Lordran having had him give up much of the ceremony of being a knight in exchange for simple survival and jolly co-operation.]

[Pyrrha picks her head up to look out across at the man once again.]

[...Okay wait a minute- did she hear him correctly?]

Did you say... that you're "undead"...? [That can't possibly be what he said... right?]

[The man grimly nods before turning the back of his left hand to Pyrrha, showing her something, a circle of fire surrounding a spot of necrotic skin]



I am Undead, branded by the Darksign. Cursed with undeath, to neither live nor die but to exist until madness takes you...but it is quite alright. [He smiles] In truth, I desired this for only an Undead could survive the harrowing dangers of Lordran. Ahahahaha~
