Exactly like him, I used to think. He's another lookalike, like Kaiba and Rosenkreuz. Thomas Stanley was his name. He taught me how to sword fight, and all kinds of things.

There's a duelist we met at Duelist Kingdom who fits that description. Mai-san. She's really pretty, about my height, with long blonde hair that goes right down her back in waves, and really intense purple eyes. She's got a very nice figure too. I guess you could say she's a little tricky, and kinda condescending, but she's really nice.

I didn't get to know her all that well, but she was one of the finalists there too and she helped us out a little. Her deck is a Harpie Lady Deck too.

I suppose she was kind enough before I betrayed the Lancastrians. But tricky... that describes her and more.

Ehe... Mai-san's pretty smart, and she kind of keeps to herself a lot. But somehow it's a little hard to imagine her being scary like your Margaret.

Wait. Vaughn-san. Didn't you say that she was Henry's mother? And that Stanley was Henry's... step-father...?

Right - in the last battle, Stanley doublecrossed the Yorkists to help Henry become King. They got married a little before we all came here, after his coronation.

... But from your reaction, I'm guessing Pegasus and Mai wouldn't have gotten together in a million years.

Yeah. I mean, Mai-san does look like his former wife a little, from the picture I saw back in the tower, but... I can't imagine her teaming up with that guy even as a duel partner, let alone marrying him.

[And if the descendants theory is true, which he really doubts by this point, that would make them related.]

...The mental image is kind of terrifying.

Hahah, well - back in those days, marrying for love wasn't always the case. Stanley was one of the strongest Yorkists, so I just assumed they were forming some sort of power couple to support Henry.

...that's kind of worse. If Stanley is anything like Pegasus, those two could easily take over the world or something.
