[Hey- waitaminute... THAT doesn't look like one of the nurses you may remember from your arrival in the nurse's office. Hm.]

[Nonetheless, she soon approaches you as you catch her eye.....]

Oh my; you look awful.

[Anna approaches you in the hallway; wearing a hyper-sexual nurse outfit. One must wonder whether this is the result of Campus-magic shenanigans, or just another highly impractical costume of her own collection.]

[Canting her head to the side; a look of faux-concern on her features.] Have you had a check-up lately?

I absolutely insist that you see me for... a thorough inspection. It's for your own good, really~

((OOC: ANNA HAS OFFICIALLY GOTTEN BORED ENOUGH TO RESORT TO HER USUAL TROLLING WAYS. Note: In case you don't know, this lady is a sadist who gets off on other people's pain/embarrassment- So if you respond here she WILL do her best to make you as uncomfortable as possible- be it through a brief casual prank or something much more sinister. She may get flirty, or put you through some pain, or humiliate you, or all of the above. Therefore, if there's something I just mentioned that you DON'T want your character to go through (i.e- nothing too sexual or no bruising or no humiliation)- please specify. Don't worry about outright gore or anything overly hardcore since she's mainly just in a playfully dominating mood. ~~Unless you desire otherwise~~.))

[Seeing how irritated Nero still is, Pyrrha remains mostly silent as she walks the remainder of the way to her door. Taking a moment to nervously exhale, the blonde eventually raises a hand to give the door a light knock before entering.] Link?

[She calls] I'm coming in.... [Pushing the door open, she takes a quick peek inside before opening it up all the way.]

He's not here... [The girl sounds visibly relieved at that. She politely gestures Nero inside; standing at the door so that she can close it behind them.] Please.

[Their room is decent enough in size; two separate bunk beds pushed somewhat closely together on one side of the room. On the other side were a couple of shelves and cabinets, as well as a small table and chairs that had been "borrowed" from the cupcake room. It was pleasant enough, though not put together in any flashy way.]

We... haven't had much time to decorate yet, so... [Ah; she's actually a bit embarrassed about that. Perhaps if she knew that they'd have company, Pyrrha could have at least gotten some flowers or something to set at the table....]

[Upon entering the room and seeing it empty, Nero sucks in a small, relieved sigh. The room itself was nothing special, but better than the roof he'd been spending his time on before.]

It's fine. I was already sick of unnecessary decorations filling up every room I walked into.

[He takes a few more steps in, but seems far from actually making himself at home.] Not bad for two people...

[Pyrrha closes the door after the two enter; taking a few steps inside.] Oh...

[Nodding.] I think it's more than enough. ...Well, I suppose that neither of us need much space anyway... -we're both used to making due with very little, after all.

.... [A bit of an awkward pause.] How are you feeling now? Do you... want me to get you anything to eat? Or would you like to lay down for a while, maybe..?

If there's anything you need... I'll try my best to help you.

[Nero continues to stand uncomfortably near the doorway, his brow furrowed.]

Just fine. [He still has his arms crossed, however.]

I'm not hungry--which bed is free? [Nero quickly cuts to the chase, just wanting to end this awkwardness as soon as possible.]

[Admittedly she still wanted to talk about what got him so upset. But it's quite obvious that Nero isn't in a speaking mood and likely wont be opening up about it any time soon. Whatever the issue is, Nero obviously needs a little time to put it behind himself.] Er-

Well, technically they're both free... [Gesturing] I usually sleep in this one, but there are two beds attached together, so...

[Nero looks between the two beds, mind turning over his choices. Did he sleep on the top bunk of a stranger, or Pyrrha?]

[He made his way to Pyrrha's bed and pulled himself up to the top bunk, barely using the steps. Once he's up there, Nero pulls off his sword, holsters, and even his coat to hang them over one of the bedposts.

While he looked a bit relieved to get a chance to take all that weight off him, there was now the fact that without his coat his Devil Bringer was fully exposed.]

I'm just going to take a quick nap. [Nero looks down at her, his legs hanging over the edge of the bed.]

If your roommate...whoever, comes back, just wake me up. I'll leave.

...It's fine. You can rest here for as long as you need to. I'm sure he wouldn't mind...

[-er.]

[For a moment, Pyrrha second-guesses her own words, as she looks to Nero's exposed demonic arm. ...If he saw that... WOULD Link mind...?]

[Suddenly, the girl isn't so sure. From past experience, Pyrrha knows that people's attitudes tend to change rather quickly the moment they suspect that a "troublesome" person is present. Of course, she'd like to believe that Link is different... But can she guarantee that? ...And furthermore- Can she guarantee that Nero WONT be troublesome?]

[Oh gosh. There are too many factors to consider here... But... if Pyrrha is really dedicated to forming a real friendship with Nero... She supposes... that she'll just have to trust him. And perhaps she should also trust that Link wouldn't turn a person away just because they're... different.]

[...This is all, of course, much easier said than done. But Pyrrha steels her nerves; hoping that fate will be kinder to her here than it has previously been in the past.] But um...

...If you want... I'll do as you wish.

I'd rather not stick around.

[With that settled Nero lays down on his side to face the wall, pulling the blanket up over his shoulders to try and get some rest.

If only it were that easy, but he just can't seem to relax knowing Pyrrha's right there, awake, and that her roommate my walk in at any second.

At best, he's comfortably staring at the wall, occasionally resting his eyes.]

...I understand. [Can't say she wouldn't feel the same way, honestly.]

[Pyrrha walks over to the other side of the room; not really knowing what to do. Would it be more polite to sit outside the door as Nero rests? ...But that would be weird. Unfortunately, they don't have much in terms of entertainment for their room just yet. Perhaps she should try and find some books, or something...]

[Eventually, an hour or so passes and Pyrrha is seated at the table- across from where Nero seems to have actually fallen asleep now. She rests her head in one hand, and honestly the girl almost begins to doze off herself.]

[It's around that time that Link bursts into the room, smelling of the sea, and hurries excitedly over to the table Pyrrha was starting to doze off at. With Nero on the top bunk mostly covered by a blanket, Link doesn't even notice his presence.]

Pyrrha! Look what I got!

[He dumps a sack on the table, which opens a bit at the top to reveal a bunch of different types of dead fish. The smell is pretty strong, but Link doesn't seem bothered by it.]

I went fishing at the beach. It'd be nice to cook these up instead of eating what's in the cafeteria for a change, wouldn't it?

-! [Pyrrha's head nearly falls as she's suddenly snapped back into full alertness; eyes opening wide as Link bursts into the room and sets a large bag down in front of her face. ...A large sack of strong-smelling fish, no doubt. Well- she's certainly awake now,]

O-oh..! That's- er... [...That's... really impressive, actually. You'd think Link had an entire crew of fisherman working with him to catch this many. And indeed, the thought of having more decent food to eat IS rather appealing. But uh...]

[Pyrrha stands up to her feet; looking guiltily over to where Nero had been resting... -before Links rather loud entrance, anyway.]

Um. ...He's here. [Perhaps her warning is a bit late.]

[Nero's woken up by Link's sudden entrance, and he nearly falls off the bed by how fast he jumps to sit up in it. His hair is mused and sticking up in places, and he shoots Pyrrha a betrayed leer at her "warning".

Really, he should have known better.]

I noticed. [Nero grabs his coat and quickly throws it on along with his sword and holsters. It's not quite fast enough to completely block his Devil Bringer from sight if Link looks over, though.]

[He doesn't have time to question Pyrrha's nervousness, as his attention is drawn to the other person in the room. Link does indeed catch a glimpse of the Devil Bringer, but doesn't reach for a weapon. Although he's startled, it's easy enough to assume this is Pyrrha friend or she wouldn't have been so calm about his presence.]

Oh... sorry about that! I didn't realize we had company.

[He quickly closes the sack of fish, then gets a better look at the stranger. Whatever that was on his arm Link can't see anymore, but he does take in the strange looking clothes.]

There's plenty of fish to share.

[Pyrrha shrinks away slightly at Nero's glare.] I tried t--

[Cutting herself off as Nero gets up and begins to dress, Pyrrha feels a sudden wave of nervousness. Did- did Link get a look at Nero's arm...? As if to HOPEFULLY distract from this, Pyrrha suddenly speaks up.] U-um...!

Link- this is Nero; Nero- this is Link. [She looks to her roommate.] He's a... [Pause.] ...friend of mine. [Self-proclaimed friend, but-]

[The girl pauses as Link offers to share a meal. Indeed, it would be very rude not to offer Nero something to eat now that he is their guest of sorts. Perhaps it's partially thanks to her former life as a maid, but Pyrrha would certainly feel improper and ashamed to have company visit and leave without even so much as a bite to eat...] Er, yes...

If you're hungry now, you're welcomed to eat with us, Nero..

[Nero's wholehearted glaring at Pyrrha subsides as his gaze shifts to Link at the offer of food.

He raises an eyebrow, looking back to Link. Her roommate seemed tolerable enough, and around his age. That was a nice change from what he was used to.]

Nice hat. [Nero jumps down from the top bunk and casually waltzes over to the two of them. The glowing blue fingers of his hands are visible beneath the cuff of his jacket.]

Well... [He reaches up, stretching to wake himself from his nap and yawning.]

I know Pyrrha can cook, so who am I to refuse? Especially when my only other option is that cafeteria woman's slop.

[the strange hand doesn't really bother him. As someone who has befriended all sorts of different beings who often have very different appearances, a little thing like that isn't going to give him pause.]

Nice to meet you.

[He smiles slightly at the compliment to his hat. It is a nice hat, isn't it?]

Thank you. [Nodding eagerly, Link grabs the sack and starts off into the hallway. It hadn't been easy to catch all these fish, and he really wants to cook them and have a nice meal. Hopefully he caught something tasty.]

Then let's go!

[Really? Already..?]

[Knowing Nero enough to not miss his sarcasm, it's Pyrrha's turn to shoot him a bit of a glare once Link's back is turned. She chooses to refrain from comment only because her roommate may be within earshot, but hopefully the look will be enough for Nero to be more mindful of his tone. After all, now that Pyrrha has introduced Nero as her friend and invited him over, he is partially her 'responsibility'. Not only that, he may serve as a sort of reflection of herself to Link...]

[The thought in itself is... mildly unsettling.]

Yes... let's. [The Grecian turns away from Nero after that brief moment of silent resentment; going to follow her roommate down the hall.]

[At the threatening glare Pyrrha shoot him, Nero can't help but return with an amused grin. He knows what he did.]

Right...

[With Link's ridiculous attire and Pyrrha just herself, Nero wasn't so nervous about going out; it was less likely anybody would notice his hand in company.

He follows the other two out and down the hall, glad that they won't be passing the bloody mess Anna had been left behind on their way to the culinary room.]

[Completely unaware of the tension on Pyrrha's part, or the amusement on Nero's, Link leads the two toward the culinary room. Once inside, he finds a clear counter to place the sack of fish on, then grabs a wooden board and a rather large knife.]

I've never done this before, but how hard can it be?

[When he'd gone fishing in Hylia, he'd thrown the fish back in the pond. Eating them hadn't been an option.]

But if either of you have, I'd be glad for the guidance.

Ah... [The Grecian promptly steps in to offer assistance, of course.] Well,

it isn't very difficult once you get the hang of it- but the preparation is actually rather important. I... I would... be happy to teach you, Link.

[And indeed she is very happy- even if slightly nervous- at the prospect of actually teaching someone something for a change; actually making herself useful. The girl walks over to grab herself an apron from the hook upon the wall; head lowered with a shy smile.] So, um...

They'll need to be scaled, gutted and cleaned first... [She ties the apron around herself.]

I've never cooked before. [Nero casually remarks, looking idly at the fish as he spoke.]

[Upon Pyrrha's layman's directions Nero tears his eyes from the raw-meat and looks considerately at her.]

Well that doesn't sound hard. [He didn't want to just sit around and do nothing while they cooked. Nero was arrogant, and with that came a sense of not being able to just sit around while others did all the work for him to benefit from.]

What can I do?

[Link smiles when Pyrrha says she'll teach him, then nods in agreement with Nero's assessment. It shouldn't be too difficult... but he still isn't jumping in without instructions.]

Okay.

[He also walks over and grabs an apron from a hook, tying it around himself like Pyrrha did. If he's going to follow all of her instructions, why not do that as well?]

What's first?

[Admittedly, Pyrrha is somewhat surprised as Nero offers to help- but she's certainly not complaining. In fact it brings a bit of a smile to her face, despite the earlier tension between them. Perhaps he's capable of behaving graciously after all...]

Oh... well... I suppose you'll both be learning something new today. [Pyrrha looks over as Link pulls an apron over himself. Ah... C-cute .__.]

[Actually-] Nero, you... might want to grab an apron as well. I don't think you want to get any of this on your clothes... Especially since you'll be doing the gutting. [Or so she has just decided.]

Now; [Pulling out the drawer in front of her, the girl takes out another knife.] Firstly- we'll need to remove these scales. Since you're already prepared, Link, we can start with you. [The girl takes hold of one of the fish; lifting it up by the tail since they tend to be a bit slippery otherwise.] Just lay the fish down flatly as so... [She demonstrates as she speaks.] Then run your knife up along it's side like this. The scales should come off fairly easily, but you'll want to be as thorough as possible. Make sure that both sides are completely free of scales before moving on, okay? [The fish she chose to demonstrate is indeed scale-free now, and fairly quickly too. She places it down off to the side.] Now it's your turn, okay?

The gutting, huh? I always get the dirty work. [Nero sounds more amused than anything as he says it; he never minded doing the dirty work. If he did, he sure as hell wouldn't be a demon slayer.]

[As Pyrrha teaches Link the ropes, wanders off to deal with his own attire. While he's a bit conflicted about whether or not he should lose the coat and risk exposing his arm, Nero eventually decides against it. After all, his left hand would be doing the work anyway.]

[A minute later he comes back, wearing a white apron that says "KISS THE COOK". He looks salty.]

[Link spares Nero a glance when he returns, not really understanding the joke behind the words on his apron, but smiling regardless. He then turns his attention back to the fish, watching Pyrrha expertly remove the scales.]

Okay, I think I can do it.

[After retrieving another cutting board, he grabs the next fish from the sack by the tail and places it down on the board. Holding the knife in his left hand and using his right to hold the fish in place, Link carefully starts removing the scales. He's going to take his time because Pyrrha said to be 'as thorough as possible' and makes sure both sides are 'completely free of scales.' Wouldn't want to mess up and leave any behind!]
