CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: SPRING FEVER

[Today, the lovely denizens of the Campus will wake up to a beautiful spring morning. Birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, and pollen is in there. But this isn't just any pollen, the kind that afflicts the allergy prone to months of watery eyes and sneezing, oh no, this pollen is far more potent.

This morning, you will wake up with exactly one menial illness. It won't kill you, it won't even really hurt you, but it will be a constant annoyance to you for the next week. Sicknesses range from sneezes and rashes to spontaneous floral growth out of the forehead region. Really, anything goes.]

((ooc: okay, so, feel free to give your characters whatever silly or petty illness you want! This event ends on the 25th. Our cooperative event has been postponed due to a lack of feedback/interest--since it's an event that requires at least a small group of people to be active in.))

I-I can...carry you back to the dorm? [He relaxes a little. No skin-stripping today. Good, that's good.]

[roadroller]

Umm... um, yeah, please... ♪

[onethirdthesoul]

Okay! [He'll just reach over to scoop her up and--oh wait.

He has to touch her to do that.]

... [BUT SHE'S A GIRL.]

[roadroller]

What are you waiting for? ♪

[onethirdthesoul]

...Ok. [He steels himself. Rin-chan is his friend, and she's not feeling well...so he can do it. Even if it's awkward.

Taking in a breath he scoops her up, finding her to be heavier than he expected, but not impossible to carry off down the hall. He still has to walk pretty slow...]

[roadroller]

[iyaaa Ryou-kun's carrying her like a princessu~

just kidding. Her reaction is mostly annoyance at the situation.]

Hey hey, do you know anyone that could help me with this? Like a mechanic, or something... ♪

[onethirdthesoul]

I don't...but once I put you down, I can try and find somebody. Maybe the nurse can help? She...

[His brow knits at the memory.] She fixed your arm before.

[roadroller]

That's right, she did.... then maybe we should go there instead? ♪

[onethirdthesoul]

Un, I think that's a good idea.

[He straining to carry her, and the nurse's office is even further away... But Ryou turns and starts heading for it regardless. He's going to be sore after this, but Rin-chan needs his help right now.

It takes a few minutes for them to get to the nurse, and he awkwardly knocks on the door with his foot.]

Umm, Nurse Lisa-san?

[roadroller]

[The only response he gets is a flustered wail! Looking inside the office, it's apparently PACKED with patients of varying bizarre illnesses.]

W-Whoa! It's a pandemic! ♪

[onethirdthesoul]

Oh no... We'll be here all night!

[Ryou frets, shifting his weight from foot to foot.]

Rin-chan, what do you want me to do?

[roadroller]

Your knees are gonna totally die if you wait outside for this... maybe we can kick some of them out! ♪

[hahahaha like ryou would ever do that]

[onethirdthesoul]

B-but Rin-chan... [He smiles uncomfortably.]

They were here first...

[roadroller]

Yeah, but we're in worse shape, aren't we? I can't walk, and you have... whatever it is that's making you wear a bag over your head. ♪

[she stares pointedly at it.]

[onethirdthesoul]

... [She has a point. Ryou looks like a giant fluffy puppy and Rin's got Tin Man syndrome. That's what he's decided to call it, anyway.

He steps into the room and starts to scoot past the other people, looking for the nurse.]

Excuse me! Sorry... Excuse me. [But ahhh, Rin's so heavy and Ryou's getting pushed around by the crowd! His arms are straining trying to hold her up.]
