[Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, you will hear the loud screeching of a microphone through the speakers before it dies down. Not long after, a familiar husky voice blares through said speakers.
Although her tone is somewhat pleasant, she manages to keep her authoritative tone as well.]
Good afternoon. [There's a brief pause.] You've all been quite busy, haven't you? It's, hm...interesting to watch, to say the least. But do keep the property damage to a minimum, will you? It's awfully rude to smash people's property on arrival, don't you think?
[Despite that warning, she manages a soft (if a bit ominous) chuckle.]
That being said, I hope you're all well rested. A good rest means a good grade, after all~.
[There's another burst of feedback before the announcement comes to an end.]

[When Leo walks past, towering over Piko, the young android almost wants to go hide behind the nearest potted plant. However seeing the other man's body he assumes he might be a Vocaloid like himself.]
Uh...excuse me? [He meekly pipes up, waaaaay up, he's practically forced to crane his neck.]

Doing a quick double-check of his backside with his hand he at least reassures himself that it's not the latter.]
I was just wondering--um. [He shuffles, and despite distinct synthetic sound to his voice and all the lights and gadget lining his "dress" and leggings, Piko's skin looks almost convincingly human.]
Are you a Vocaloid? Do you know how to get back home...?

[ It's clear by the echo and the arched brow that Leo hasn't the slightest idea as to what a Vocaloid even is. ]
... Afraid not. On either account.
[ ... But at least it's now obvious that they're kidnapping kids as well. Just when he thought the situation couldn't get any worse. ]

[That smile quickly falls though when Leo admits he doesn't know how to get home.]
Uh--oh. Well... [Piko crosses one arm over his chest, propping the other up so he can thoughtfully stroke his chin.] If I can get outside, I'm sure I can find an airport or something!

You can get outside but the gate's as far as you can go.
[ His synthetic eyes light up with small pin-point flashes in his irises as he looks outside a window. ]
There's some sort of... shield or barrier around the place. It keeps people in without having the hassle of watching over them.

[Suddenly he has an idea, and hopefully suggests it.] Well, why don't we just ask the lady who spoke over those speakers to turn it off?

[ He tried that earlier to no avail. ... Though he did initiate the conversation with a poor opening line if information was his goal. ]

[This entire concept isn't in his default programming and he has yet to encounter it himself.]
Um...no. All my managers and supervisors are gone, and I haven't seen any Vocaloids besides myself. Or at least not any I recognize.

[ Which is to say that Leo has no idea and it's gradually eating away at his mood. The kid's answer doesn't do much to help matters either; he'll have to keep an eye out for him. It's not that he doesn't want to, on the contrary - as an agent of the BPS, he feels the need to protect the innocent. ... But watching out for some teenager means that his attention will be split. Less time trying to find some kind of flaw in the barrier or the woman's location. ]
All right. [ He crouches now, trying to appear less intimidating to this rather small-- Vocaloid, was it? ] My name's Leo. I'm here to help out the best I can, okay? If you catch wind of any sort of information, let me know.

Piko Utatane! [He politely bows his head in a typical Japanese fashion before straightening up.] It's nice to meet you Mister Leo. I'll be sure to tell you anything important I find out! But, uh...how will I know where to find you?

He gives a light huff as he looks over his shoulder and down the hallway. Another Leo happened to show him the dormitories earlier; he could keep an eye on him until someone he knows shows up. If they do. The woman in charge seems to be fairly selective if the people he's run into are any indication. ]
Well, without a way to leave, you'll need a place to sleep, right? [ He looks back at the youth, locking eyes. The tone he takes can be compared to what an adult would use when addressing a child. ] How about you come stay with me until you run into someone you know?
