Please don't bite the newbie!
Just a little to the left and open! [Sibyll announces triumphantly, standing up and pushing the door open to what should have been an unexplored ruin. Except it's not. Clearly confused, she takes a few steps into the bizarrely green courtyard. Pulling out a handgun, she looks around, clearly bewildered. Behind her, the door creaks shut and vanishes into the wall.]
Wait, no! [A little panicked, she presses her hand up against where the door used to be, tapping it lightly in an attempt to hear a hollow 'thump' that may indicate a hidden door. Not that there's any to be found.]
...Well, damn.

[Wording, Ryou. You need to work on that.]
He used to put people into comas a lot, so I had to keep transferring school because I had a bad reputation for it. But once I got to Domino, he stopped doing that.
(*snickers*)
[She's clearly been underestimating the evil little bauble. That thing definitely needs to be riddled with holes. Possibly nuked.]

[Not mentioning the soul-theft part. It's less complicated this way.]

[Her tone was dry, but is now going back to gentle sympathy. It wasn't hard to feel bad for him, even if she still didn't entirely understand the hows and whys.
But you say he's stopped doing that? Have you blacked out much since you got here?
[Having some idea of how often the little monster was out and about would give her a good idea of how much to keep up her guard around the kid.]
no subject
He stopped putting people into comas after I met the holder of one of the other items. Though I started blacking out more around then, I wasn't hearing of any more people being put into comas.
[Other than him, he hadn't heard of anyone else being hurt.]
Thinking about it, it's probably good that I'm here, for 'his' sake.

[She sighs and takes another gulp of water. 300 years in the past and evil jewelry? This all felt too real for her to have just hit her head on something and be dreaming up.]

[Fumbling in his pocket, he finds the cold hardness of the Millennium Eye and draws it out, holding it out for her to see.]
My other... might have killed someone for this.

After quietly thinking for a minute or two, she reaches out to gently place a hand on Ryou's cheek.]
If he did, there isn't anything you can do about it. And I can take care of myself, so don't worry about that. Appreciate the warning, though.

He really did not want to die.]
Thank you! That really reassures me. But this isn't a really good introduction to this place is it? Sorry, sorry.
no subject
What else is there? Since you said 'school', I'm guessing a lot of empty classrooms.
no subject
[He's rather curious, if not judgemental at all. After all, he collects Monster World figures; he'd be in a pretty poor position to judge.]
Well, there's the usual; art room, music room, infirmary, library, pool... [Ticking them off on his fingers as he goes.] I'd suggest getting your food from the home economics room and making it yourself, rather than going to the cafeteria. I haven't been to the northern wing yet, but it's probably just more classrooms.
There's dormitories on each side of the building, but they're shared, so it really depends how much you're willing to trust strangers. I guess it must have been a boarding school at some point, but the location's a little odd. Schools aren't usually set up on secluded islands, especially not surrounded by jungles. It was probably a very exclusive place, if it was ever functional.
no subject
What's wrong with the cafeteria? [In her mind, nothing can be as bad as the 200-year-old Pre-War packaged stuff. But she could be wrong.]
And sharing rooms? Doesn't quite suite me. I don't suppose there are any empty rooms, are there?
no subject
[In the worst way. He hasn't even tasted it; he just didn't have the nerve to eat something like that.]
I'm not sure... But if worst comes to worse, you could probably take over one of the classrooms.
no subject
Maybe. Who do you share a room with?

[Someone was able to bring more then the clothes on their back to this place? Sibyll is jealous.]

[That idea seems to unnerve her out a little, and she looks suspiciously around the room.]

...the really weird part is how they know what size you are.

[She's perpetually smiling, but her tone is a bit rushed.]

[Rising to his feet, he winces slightly, but seems otherwise fine.]
The school seems to be arranged around the courtyard in the middle, so the classrooms are different depending on what area of the school you go to. Most of the places in this part can't really be accessed for some reason. So to get to the classrooms, you'd need to walk around to either side of the school.

[She walks next to Ryou, looking around at the abandoned halls.]

Once you get past the flood of locked doors, though, depending on which way you go you'll run into either the sports area, or the classrooms.
no subject
[She stops by one of the locked rooms and pulls out a bobby pin out of her hair. Once she straightens it out, she retrieves a small screwdriver and begins to try and pick the lock.]
no subject
[Ryou just stares at her, aghast. That's something he's never considered. He really hopes it doesn't end badly for her.
Alas, the door remains stubbornly locked. Clearly it must be higher than her current lockpick skill.]
Do you have... cause to do that often?
